Hey Guys & Gals...
WOW....It seems like a million years since Ive been here lol lol.....Not sure when I will get a chance to set and catch up on what alls been going on since I been gone but hope all has been well with everyone!!!
It's been right at 3 weeks since I was last on.......I had some contact with Janet and she offered to post for me...So I know you all know I got to be part of the big ICE storm... Man let me tell ya that sucked!!!!.....Was pretty instense for awhile and the dang storm hit aprox 36 hours before I was suppose to go to Columbia for my surgery......It about killed me to leave my family in the mess we were in....We still didn't know if it was going to get any worse and I was headed to a place with electric and the whole nine yards......But it all turned out ok......
We finally got our electric back wednesday morning....But we are only running off a huge generator that's running our whole town......We have lost electric 3 times since on the generator so we are still not out of the woods just yet.....We lost everything in the freezer and the fridge but we are only buying a little bit of food here and there since we don't know when we might be without our electric again......
As for my surgery things went really well......I lost very little blood and the pain was nothing at all.....I did have a issue with a little bit of infection last week but I caught it right off and only had to do a round of antibiotics....I had three drains and lost them at seperate times.....Had my thirds one 15 days because it was just draining so much....
I do have an issue now.....It actually started last week....I noticed my thigh was getting sore and then it got more sore and moved down to my knee and started swelling....
Dr. MacIntyer said to keep taking my antibiotics and it would clear up...From my understanding it's cellulitus from the excess drainage that drained more after my drains were removed....BUT now its below my knee and has made a good size knot just below my knee towards the inside of my led....When I walk I can really tell my led is swollen and its pretty sore and tender....Im calling my PCP tomorrow to get an appt for Tuesday morning to follow up on it and see if maybe I might need a different antibiotic....
Well I have a ton of things to do on the puter...Had electric for several days but this i the first day Ive had internet back......
Thank you guys for all the prayers that went up for me and my family.....I do have to say it was one hell of an experience and was pretty upsetting a few times but guess we are all stronger than we thought.....My moms always said what don't kill ya will make ya stronger lol lol.....

hey Skinny!!!!! how you doing, im so glad that things are going better....yes for sure keep a close eye on that knot amd the problem with your leg...that could be serious.
so how much weight did they say the apron was? do you feel lighter? i am giong to go have mine done when we get home....cant wait...im tired of pushing the fat down into my pants and not having them fit right....glad you are up and things are back to semi normal.....Jan
