Daily Bible Reading - Sunday Feb. 8th
Today reading in Exodus and Matthew both you can see preparation is being made for the second coming of Christ. Its really amazing how both books of the bible, one being in the old testament and one being in the new testament, can have pretty much the same thing in them. In Exodus we see the temple is nearing completion and God is instructing how He wants the Robes made for the Priests. Reading that can you just imagine how beautiful they are, the detail of each stitch and stone put upon the robes? It really makes me think how detail a God we serve. In our lives he has every little detail covered, from the smallest of details to the largest. It seems everything has its place and time. Just like us with this surgery, we’ve all had our place and time in our journey’s and no matter how many days or months or even years we are out we still have to contend with the little details of having the surgery, from taking the proper vitamins to eating the right foods, it’s a never ending thing we have to deal with. It kind of funny as we wrap up our readings today, our last reading is in Proverbs and what does Proverbs say? Vs 12 says, I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence; I possess knowledge and discretion. There’s that “W" word again, Wisdom. Seems we just can’t get away from wisdom. I think God is trying to tell us how important using Wisdom is. That’s one thing that we will never get away from. Just remember, using wisdom in our daily lives will bless us more then any of us can imagine.
Hope everyone has a blessed Lords Day!

Luke 22:32
'But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.'
Everyone always wanted Brad on their team. He was tall and very athletic, and every team he ever played for seemed to win. There was also something about Brad that brought out the best in everyone else. It's good to have someone on our side who can swing the odds in our favor. Jesus Christ is just that Someone. He promised His disciples that He would pray for them and they could not fail in their endeavors. He prays for us, too. Jesus is always on our side, and that makes us unbeatable. As we attempt to lose weight, it is vital that we include Jesus in our plans.
Today's thought: With Jesus on my side, temptation doesn't stand a chance!
