Sorry it took so long to post the comments about today’s reading,  my internet has been down all morning, how dare it! Lol  Have a great day y’all.

Reading today’s scriptures really got me to thinking about the second coming.  In Exodus they are building temple and God gives them specific instructions on what to build and exactly how to build it.  It seems each detail of the temple, the altar the veil and all have a specific meaning.  Then over in Matthew it goes on talking about the bridegroom coming back and have you used what talents God gave you or have you just buried them.  We see in Matt. 25 He gave 3 different people different talents, 2 of them used those talents and multiplied them, the one just buried the one talent he was given for safe keeping.  When He returned the two that used and multiplied their talents He was very well pleased with and gave them more but the one that went and buried his the Master was displeased and gave the money he had to one of them that was faithful and put the man out in the darkness.  This sure made me think of the knowledge we have been given on WLS and how we use it.  If we use the knowledge we have been given properly we are very successful and live a longer healthier life but if we don’t use what knowledge we have been given we end up in the same shape we have been all our lives, not losing weight and not healthy and will most likely end up in the grave early.  Reading this really makes me look at myself and makes sure I am doing the right things, I want to be one of the successful not one that lives in the darkness of obesity the rest of my life.

Today’s Reading

Exodus 26:1-27:21
Matthew 25:1-30
Psalm 31:1-8
Proverbs 8:1-11

Daily Devotional

1 Corinthians 10:13
There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

There are going to be times when we feel like throwing up our hands and saying, 'I just can't do it!' Dieting is not easy. Don't let anyone tell you that it is. We wouldn't need to diet if we could eat what we wanted when we wanted it. But know this: God will make sure we can hang on, if we include Him in our diet attempts. He knows how hard it is and how much we struggle. No matter how tempted we might be, He will help us escape it.

Today's thought: There is a way to beat every temptation!

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
