WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY

Finally we are at my sisters in Conroe Texas....felt so good to be back this far ...will be leaving for home probably either Sunday or Monday , going back up thru Dallas and that way home instead of going over to La and then coming up thru that way....will be a little shorter I think..

We are beginning to feel better....I finally got warm and feel lots better. I know there will be no more really long trips on the bike if it is going to be cold. That isn’t fun ....but neither is riding when it is I would really hot.

 

Going to go to bed soon so thought get on and say Hi and you that we are doing ok now...will be home Monday or Tuesday ...We may leave here on Sunday but don’t know.

Depends on the weather. Hear and there. We will have to do half of it one day and half the next day.....300 miles is a long long trip on a bike believe me ...

 

Cant wait to get caught up with all of you...I have started downloading my pictures to my web site, it was on with my signature and it just disappeared. So now I have to figure out how to get it back on ....if I cant I will have Andy to do it when we get home.

 

Well going to go take a shower and go to bed.  

 

 

SUSAN::::: lol I bet we will have enough junk mail in that box to burn up all the limbs that we need to burn ....yes it will be good to get back to my house so I can keep it as warm as I want....every one freezes me lol

 

 

 

SUSIE:::::::::: oh man getting on the scales and seeing a gain of a few pounds scares you to death but we have all done it and it does happen....anyway  like someone said you need to write everything down and see howmany calories you are eating.    You may not be eating enough,. Really ...you need at least 1000 a day not more than 1200  most of that needs to be protein , but not all.

Keep up the good work it will happen.

Good morning to all.how is everyone doing today.sure was a pretty day yesterday.andy and i asked it to stay around.lol.it made it to 63 degress.now they are calling for those old nasty thunder storm's.this weather just cant make up it's mind.lol.

jan we are glad to hear you and joe are feeling better.you be carefull out there on the road.300 mile's is a long time in one day on a bike.i would take more than one day to travel also.you have lot's of reading in this mail box we have for you jan.

jan on tuesday i get to see your doctor.i am now going to see rachell bridge's.i was talking to a nurse yesterday at my pc office about some medicne i needed and she told me my doctor was leaving to go to skagg's urgent care at branson west.she sia di iwanted to tell you about it in person before you called up here and found out about it on the answering machine.they want to get all of the people doctor john lea see's to a new doctor.if i did not call about something i would have not know about it.andy and i are soo glad i will get to see her.we know she will support me in having the surgery.my doctor who see's mee for my blood sugar problem's is all for me having the surgery but my regular doctor was not.i dont think he even believed it in.he told me i would alway's be on my med's and never get rid of my problem's.even the surgeon told me that i would be off of my med's.i have more support with you all and andy than i ever did with him.

debbie d it was nice to see you here on the board.tell your mom happy birthday for us.we saw my dad yesterday and he will be 77 in may.he is doing pretty good.still like's to give everyone a hard time.they all like him soo much at the nursing home.we are praying for your hubby to find a job.there is nothing too big for our god.

peggy thank you for posting that mexican recipe it was soo good.andy did a really good job of making it.

janet do you have everything ready for your grand daughter.when they stay with you for those 2 week's you may not want them to leave.we are praying for megan.

renee we are praying for you to feel better too.we know you want to hold that sweet baby when she does get here.she better hurry up and come.there are a lot of people waiting to see her.

susie just hang in there.i know it is hard to do when we gain weight.you will get it off again plus some more.

bec did you get to make paul those cookie's?you sure know how to spoil him.now dont harass him too much he might harass you back.lol.

 Good morning - coming out of lurking mode again.

Yesterday the weather cooperated and I got my first fill.  Even though I knew it was unlikely to be all that noticeable, it's a little disappointing.  Still - on the road, right?  Lost 15 pounds since the first of the year so I must still be on the right track.  

It's pretty quiet down here.  But then, it usually is pretty quiet down here.

They are usually pretty conservative with the first fill.  But what's good about Dr. E's office is you can get another one in 2 weeks if you don't feel tight enough.  If you're still not feeling any different next week, call and make an appointment for another fill.  Congrats on the 15 lbs. - that's wonderful!

Hello Everyone,
 I hope everyone is enjoying this nice weather, I'm hoping the storm's they are calling for pass us by, but I was also hoping the ice storm would to and y'all see how far that got me. LOL
 I'm finally getting over that nasty crud I had, it sure is nice to be able to breath. I've been taking all kinds of med's to get rid of it so I will be ready for Miss Mackenzie to get here. I sure hated to miss the ultra sound, but didn't want to take a chance on spreading it on to Megan.
 Poor Tiff is having some female problems, and I had to take her to the ER last night. She has been having alot of trouble since she went off the birth control shot. It really kind of makes me mad because the doctor told us it wouldn't be a problem stopping her periods (for 2 years), but turns out it's a real big problem. Could you guys please say some prayers for her.
 We are trying to get everything ready for Kala and Lee's baby shower/going away party the 21st. They will be leaving March 1, and I'm so not ready for this. They are going to be staying here the last week in Feb., Kala said she wanted to spend as much time as possible that week with Tiff and me.
 I better wrap this up Larry and I are off to Springfield today to my foot doctor, he's wanting to do another surgery on my right foot so hopefully we can get this done and over with soon.

 Janet it's not going to be long now until we have that sweet baby girl here to play with and dress up, and hug and kiss on. WoooooHooooo!!!!!!!
 Thank you so much for last Sunday, we had a blast at the superbowl party. I can't wait until we can all hang out again. I'm going to have to start practicing on Tiff's gh so I can battle with you guy's. LOL

Dear Aunt Jan and OH Peeps-

How is everyone this beautiful sunny day? I hope you are all doing well.  It is so pretty outside today-however-we have gale force winds out here-and Im not kidding! The wind is HORRIBLE!

Been on the phone almost all morning and so far this afternoon, getting all kinds of things straightened out-O, I hate days like this....Hate having to wait for people to return calls-and usually when I decide to get another call out of the way-then someone will call, and when I TRY to switch over and answer the other line, It hangs up on whomever is calling OR who I was talking to!

Darrel only had a half day of school. He is going to get his chores done real quick, Jon is finishing up his school work and then I am headed to the butcher up the road to get some steaks to grill tonite.  We are going to BBQ and then Mike and I are going to duel on our guitar hero game, we like to see who will win-LOL...and we have a couple of movies we want to watch.

I wanted to get in and say that I hope all of you are doing well....I am praying for everyone-and I hope you are all healthy, happy and recovering from your sickness's or surgeries.

No baby yet.  Megan went to OB this morning and hospital for stress test. Baby ok. No dialating or anything like that yet-but she has had a couple of days of back labor.....she sure looks miserable tho.  She did the "nesting" yesterday too-she did ALL of Mackenzies laundry and had all kinds of energy-so-it wont be long now!

Well peeps-I hope you enjoy the beautiful day we have outside-but if its as windy there as it is here-make sure your dog is on a leash because my little dog-8#, she is getting knocked all over the place due to the wind.....LOL

Good afternoon OH peeps, It's warm here in Wichita but I'm sick with a chest cold but I'm still here at work don't want to be here but I have to be.  My kid is having a bad day so he lost out on todays special activities and very upset about it so he is in time out per say and having to do extra school work instead of fun stuff.  I work with a special needs child who is a 2nd grader.  

I'm working really hard sticking to my food plan, not exercising excessively and staying off the scale daily all in the efforts to beat my eating disorder which I still have to explain just realized I haven't told you all my story yet guess I better do that soon?  

I made that famous grape salad recipe that has been posted here for the teacher snack day last week and boy people I didn't even know knew my name was asking me for the recipe.  One teacher wanted to lick the bowl she liked it so well.  I sent out an all staff email yesterday giving everyone the recipe because of all the request I was getting for it.  I made a really good homemade sloppy joe recipe last night made with splenda brown sugar.  I used to just use manwich but it has a lot of sugar and I dumped on it so this one I made last night was yummy and only 2 Tbs. of splenda brwn sugar so no dumping.  

I was having a lot of motility issues with eating and things making me sick so now if I know I'm going to eat a good meal I take Reglin (they give that for nausua) and that helps keep things moving in there and I don't get sick like I used to on everything.  I'm starting to feel somewhat normal again, like I can eat more normal......

I have been trying to find a dietician in Wichita that has some knowledge of post-bairatric patients needs but not having a lot of luck or they are in a facility and they want you to have had your surgery with them so it's frustrating.  I just want some added support to let me know if I'm doing ok and if I'm on the right track I didn't do all this for nothing I want to do it right you know what I mean so I want some professional feedback and I really haven't had much of that.  I'm a year out now and weight loss has slowed down a lot I still want to lose about 30-40 more pounds and I'm worried I won't get there in my window of oppurtunity as they call it you know your 18 months that they say you have to lose the weight you want?
