WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY
Well we left beautiful , sunny warm
We weren’t but about 70 miles from
SUSIE::::: LOL you and a lot of others wanted Az to win but just wasn’t meant to be I guess. They really came out of it the last few minutes but just wasn’t enought
I wanted them to win too.
I use to like having lots of left overs to use for meals but hate left overs now so cant give away enough of it. I always buy enough of the little storage boexes to be able to give them away lol
SUSAN::::::You would really love the zoo there, it is really neat for sure.
Hey at least we will have tomatoes huh? Lol those were all volunteers they just came up in the flower pots don’t know what sort of tomatoes they are but what ever im sure they will be good.
We will have some fun in the garden this summer. And with the sealer I bought from Janet we will have a way to seal them up really well ...
BEC:::::::like I said the zinnias don’t require much water. Im sure you will do well with them....they are an easy flower to grow. likes lots sun lot of pretty colors too.
Has your back pain eased up any ? and I don’t know about your hips. Do your knees hurt? Could just be over working them....who knows maybe check it out with your pcp ok
Could just be that you have lost enough weight that the bone is pushing against the skin and causing pain
Include Joe and I in the prayers too we are on the road again. we wont be home till the 9th or 10th but we are traveling. So keep us in your prayers ok?
JANET::::::: did your doctor get your meds done for the loss of bone? I think the extra vits that you are taken could be causing the upset tummy. Take an extra previcid or what ever it is you take for your ulcer meds. Ok? Maybe your doctor has another idea.
Am keeping Tammy in our prayers and Megan too. doesn’t sound like it will be long till you have that baby to hold...are they still living with his family? Or did they get their own place.
Sounds like you have been having some fun in your life .....
Where in Az were you all at , or rather where did Mikes Dad live? was just wondering. We are thinking about going out maybe in August to see what it is all like then too.
My knees and hip are killing me again. I haven’t taken pain pills not once while I was in AZ we were there for 2 weeks and after the second day I didn’t need them while there but sure am needing them tonight. Darn it all.
Well got to go and have to email my sister Kathy and let her know where we are. And also let Teresa know we made it this far today.
LOVE AND HUGS
GOD BLESS
JAN C.

What happened overnight? The temp fell like a rock. I don't want to go outside. Wish I had said no today.
I am finally getting my storage room finished. They are delivering sheet rock today. It is supposed to my craft room. I bet DH will have other ideas before it gets finished. I guess it might be good I am not here today if they start hammering.
I need more hours in the day, I am late already. Have a good day everyone
Wanted to say hello and let you all know I'm alive just not kicking too much. I've caught a whale of a head cold or something and it's miserable. So I plan on lying around today to try and shake it. Taking my Zicam and lots of fluids. Yuck...I hate being sick. So if I don't post the Eatin' Good tonight (again) I am truly sorry.
Jan, I pray that you and Joe have safe travel and I am so sorry about your pain. Sounds like you may become a snowbird and I bet there is a bunch of us that will want to fly with you. I think the worst part about late winter in Missouri is the inconsistency in the temps. One day warm (70!) the next day cold, two days later it's warm again.
We really enjoyed the game, the commercials weren't that great (some were!) but I sure wanted the Cardinals to win. At least it was exciting.
Well I need to get off here and feed this cat...he swears I haven't fed him in a month. Take care.

Life isn't about about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.
Oh Jan, I remember getting to AZ and after 20 some hours in the car-after the swelling went down in my ankles-I was not in pain-and actually, when we got there-my pain was still only like a 3-4.....nothing like when Im at home! The whole time I was there-I only took my maintenance meds-so I wouldnt go through withdrawel, and thats it-no extras either-didnt need ANY of them! Then I remember on the way home, waking up and my legs and back hurting so badly and I asked Mike where we were-and he said Oklahoma City-and out come the pain pills. I was so depressed-that I had gone a whole week with no pain-and even did a ton of walking and hiking type walks at the Grand Canyon and not one pain pill-but...well, you know! It STINKS and Im sorry!
Mikes dad and his family reside in Lake Havasua City-where the London Bridge is located (really, it is! LOL). Its close to Laughlin, which is a little Las Vegas. Its about 3 hrs or so to Phoenix. Im not sure where Teresa lives from there-but hey, if we all end up living there-I KNOW we WILL get together and hang out when we can! That would be so awesome. August IS hot-but you STILL WONT BE IN PAIN! Let me describe-here when its that hot-you have a hard time breathing-LOL..the humidity is higher and you still have the pain in your bones-out there in the heat-yes, its hot-its like being under a sun lamp or tanning booth.....a very bright one at that-BUT....the humidity is still unheard of, thus no pain....Now that we dont have the pre-op issues-I still didnt sweat-the Arizona natives were-but I wasnt, Mike wasnt. Yes, we went at the end of July-beginning of August a couple of yrs into our marriage the first time we went out.
Today I have some errands to run, and of course, the weather is cold out today, only going to be in the 20s here today, all day long-darn it! I would rather go out when the weather isnt like this-makes for a very painful day and I hate that. May see if I can get someone to run the errands for me, or watch Jon this afternoon so I dont have to drag him around!! I have a lot to go through this week too-because Friday, we will be getting the crib and canopy put up and get my lil' princess's changing station and misc all up and ready for her. Aaron is going to come over and move some of the sale boxes out of my bedroom and help take some things to the storage stuff we have out in the man lodge-no more stuff in the morton building-its pretty full right now and mom hates to have sales-but they have a ton of stuff already ready for it-but its in sections and organized-so I really dont want to put anything else out there. I already have my trunks out there (still) and working on them!
We lost power last night for about 3 hrs. Mike was stuck on Kodiak, said that a car missed the turn, ran off the raod about a block away from the end of our driveway-they kept driving straight when the curve appeared and went straight off the road, into the trees and power line pole. It took them quite awhile to get the car out-and traffic ws blocked up on the road until they got it out of there.. We got power back a little after 10 pm-just when everyone was all settled in the livingroom with a ton of blankets and asleep on the couch and chairs. LOL....we had candles and our lantern on- and Jon got really talkative-he was pretty nervous. LOL...kept wanting us to get the outside dogs and bring them in......didnt understand that we lost power because of the accident-since last week it would have been from the ice storm, and he helped get the jugs filled and all of that-prepping for it.
I got a text from Renee yesterday saying how sick she is. It sounds like bronchitis-sure hope its not pnuemonia-she said she doesnt remember being this sick before. Please say some prayers for her, that she gets to feeling better soon!
Tomorrow morning is Megs appt at the hospital. Stress text and ultrasound. I cant wait to see the new pics of her face and see if she will move around again while I am talking to her. Renee was/is invited-but if she is still sick, I hope she wont come-Megan cannot afford to get anything right now-she is already so miserable. Poor thing! I have to stop and try to get that newborn dress today-in the right dress-LOL....I hope its still there-crossing my fingers and toes!
Mom and I will be applying for our passports this week and get that done so when we get them, we can book our cruise-we want to go on a last minute cruise so we will get a good deal-we are either going to the Bahamas or Mexico-Im so excited. Mike MAY go with us-will see.......
Well, I am gonna get this wrapped up and get some email stuff done and get my day going......have a lot to do today.
**Jan, I do think its all the new supps I am taking right now. I stopped them 2 days ago and havent been sick since. I did call her office and we talked about starting out on a smaller scale and weaning into the high doses little by little. I DID take extra prilosec when I first started getting sick with them, but it never did help. Now I know it was the pills-at first I thought I was getting what the boys kept passing back and forth to each other. She is going to call me as soon as she calls in my script for my monthly medication. She is trying to find out what my RX company will cover first-and I will take it once a month, hopefully, if they will cover it for me. I WILL keep you posted on it.
Thanks for the info on the cruiselines-Carnival is the one we researched and seemed the cheapest-we will pick it up in Galveston, TX and were looking at the 3 and 4 day cruise and they were from 189-329. Either one, isnt bad. Hope that we can find an ALL inclusive one though, so we dont have to worry about extra tipping and all of that too!
Has your son started working on Sugars computer yet? When you talk to her, please let her know that we miss her and love her! Thanks!!!
**Susan-Im so sorry about your friends co-worker and losing her baby! I cannot even imagine that pain. We came close to losing Stephanie several times before she was 5 and that pain was unbearable-I just cant imagine actually losing a child! They will be in my thoughts and prayers for sure.
Hope you and Andy are doing good-and when I get to come to the next meeting, I am going to beg to bring Mackenzie and will let you hold her-LOL...not for very long, tho-LOL....just kidding. Thanks for being so uplifting and thoughtful-it means a lot.
**Susie-did you ever crack out your snowblower? Did you go sledding? I hope you got to do both!! LOL....Have a good day.
**Bec, Peggy, both Debs, Sheila, Tammy, Barbara, Lana, Renee, Sandy: WHERE ARE YOU GUYS???? WE MISS YOU! I MISS YOU!!! Come out, come out, wherever you are and let us know how your doing! I worry, you know! Love you guys, and your in my thoughts and prayers-as well as everyone on the board-please take care and stay warm! Love, Janet
