Whew im tired, we went to Sabino Canyon today...rode the tram to the end of the canyon and then hiked around and back down....they said 7 miles. Wasn’t too hard. Just in the areas where there was no sun at all was cold.  So we sort of got faster in those areas...

After we got back to town we went to gro store and bought lots of stuff to last a few days and then we went over to the new 99cent store here. OMG this is a huge store and everything in there a dollar.....we had a huge cart full and only cost 38.00  amazing....

I certainly hope every thing is ok everywhere.  My daughter , Michele, said that Arkansas has been declared to be in a state of emergency....that is bad...

Andy ad Susan im glad that you all were staying warm in the geen house. I hope it is thru losing power. I know we have a lot to clean at our house too right?

Will you be able to take those papers into town and fax them to me or have you talked to the people about getting an extension? Let us know ok?

Im so very very tired tonight that I just cant get much of anything written.

Rennee and Tiff those two letter were great.....Tiff yours was really good too.  I coppied it off to keep

Sugar wanted me to let you all know that her computer crashed big time she said......she cant get it to do anything. Not even come on. So will have to get my son to fix it or build her a new one or something....

Becky did you get all your black walnuts cracked? I hate doing those nuts. They taste good but I would rather take a beating than pick those out.

Lou im glad that we aren’t there either with the ice ...Andy says at our place it looks like a bomb disaster...but we will get home and have lots of cleanup to do I know. He said we had a couple of trees down up front ....take it easy getting around in the snow...

Susie im so glad that you got your snow and are enjoying it....have you got to use your snow blower yet?? Congradulations on the size 16 you will be in your desired size soon. The more you use that WII the faster you will get there.

Karen I am praying for you and your surgery , you will be more beautiful than you are...

Janet I hope you finally learn what the test say that you had done.  Your kids all have birthdays in my birthday month ....Happy birthday Mr. Jon. I hope you had fun sledding on the hill.  Janet I know it is fun just be careful you know how easy you break.

I hope the roads are getting better out there.

Has Megan and Aaron found a place to live yet? Are they living with you ? It wont be long now till you have that sweet baby to hold and love on will it. I know youcan  barely stand waiting.

 LOVE AND HUGS
GOD BLESS

I hope everyone has power and is warm. I am enjoying the beauty of the snow. Neighborhood kids have tracked up the back with their sledding. I do not mind they are having fun. It was to cold for me to think about trying.
Dh is back at work today. I know he is happy. He gets cabin fever.

No school again today. Poor kids will have no spring break.

I am heading up to the lake to check on Karen,I will update when I get back.

Have a safe warm day and try to enjoy the beauty of the winter wonderland.

Hi Aunt Jan and OH Peeps-

I just want to say that I am praying for our members, family and friends who are without power right now. We got very lucky and did not lose our power-which we probably would have-had we not had those huge ice storms last year where we were without power for a week or more-we had all our trees cut down that were around lines at that time, and lots of new lines put up.  Our lights flickered for about 1/2 hr, but thank God, we didnt lose it. I was prepared tho.  My heart just goes out to everyone, because I remember how miserable it was-but I am also thankful that it wasnt as bad as it could have been-and our loved ones are still alive-and at least warm, even if they are crammed 4 families to a small house-they are all alive (Tammy H and her families).

Poor Jon, didnt get to have the birthday party we wanted for him-but we did have fun. He got to go sledding and we had a good ol' snowball fight-and Mike and Jon won! LOL....The sledding was great too-except the snow had to get packed down before they really got any speed again-but when they got it down to the ice-there was no stopping them! LOL.... I got some really cool pictures, but then-my batteries went out, of course-just my luck!  Anyway, he got a card with an IOU for his shopping trip and his party at Chuck E Cheese. Then, he picked green frosting for his cake-and he was so happy he got to pick the shade of the green. LOL...He loved it. Then, he was really happy when we got to sing Happy Birthday to him..... he said his favorite part of the day.  So, anyway-all in all, he had a wonderful day, although we were stuck in ice land.

The doc did call me back yesterday, but she was NOT in her office, so she said she is going to call me back today FROM her office and let me know what the test results said and what new meds she will be calling in for me.

I got an email from Steph this morning that made me cry. She talked about how sorry she was for everything and she felt very blessed that God gave her me for a mom. I spent the morning crying tears of joy. Was so glad to get that from her, escpically since we have been spending so much time together and wasnt sure how she REALLY felt about how things were going.  Im so thankful that God is bringing restoration to our relationship. I have missed her so much.  So-YAY!!! YAY!!! YAY!

I have to get-the boys and I are going out to have a snowball fight before all our snow is gone and melted off. I hope that this post finds everyone doing well-and please remember those in prayer who are without power right now-that they are at least warm and have shelter, enough to eat and drink and are healthy.  Also for Karen and her surgery.

I would like to say that Tiffs post was amazing. I know she cleaned it up a bit-LOL....But, for the most part-I believe everyone pretty much hit the nail on the head and I just hope that Mistys little girl doesnt have to pay for her moms stupidity.  I really do hope that Margie OR Dr. H get on and read those posts so that they truly know what they are dealing with so that they can TRY and get her the help that she needs, maybe. If she goes back to the doc, that is. I do know people who have had the surgery and never went back after their drains were out-but......Im just overwhelmed with this situation. I am saying extra prayers over this one-there is a part of me that wants to be down right nasty, because I am so angry that anyone would ever put their life at risk OR regret the surgery over pasta and sugar-thats not even what we all go through for our head hunger and buyers remorse-to skip that far ahead 2 weeks into it and to say and do the things that she is doing-its not even comprehensible. Unbelievable. (shaking head). I just dont get it. I could never look at my boys and think they arent worth it????? But, at least own up to your own mistakes-take responsibility-quit blaming it on the docs and everyone else.  GHeezzzz.......

Take care everyone, and as always-your in my thoughts and prayers-Love, Janet

Afternoon Missouri...

Well you asked for it.  I finally posted a bunch of pictures on my profile.  Christmas, my WLS progress and some of my necklaces.  Hope you enjoy.

Been a quiet day....I'm kind of out of it.  Shelia asked me to work on some things and I am really struggling.  Started dreaming about seizures last night so I know the stress is even in my sleep.  Ready to get this over with.

So glad to Sugar is ok even tho her computer is down.  And absolutely thrilled that Janet has had such a wonderful time with family!  Can't wait to hear how Karen is doing.  Also thankful that Cor's grandma is ok, too.  Now we need to get Susie down the hill on her sled.  I don't think anybody else really wants to do it!  I know Lou is so busy and so are Andy & Susan....spoiling Rebel and trying to stay warm.  Doggone ice.  I hope Bec didn't smash any fingers cracking walnuts today.  Wonder if Deb (pooh) has stewed a parrot yet?  Anybody heard from Barb?  I worry about her continued issues from the accident.  It was good to see Deb D post but her DH sure needs to find work. Tammy V had a great wow moment yesterday.  Yay!  We also had MzJoJo have a revision today....so we're looking to hear good things from her angel.  Hope the rest of you are ok, I tend to forget so many.

Well I just wanted to say a quick hi and I better start planning dinner.  That man will want to eat later!

Love and hugs...
Peggy
