WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Today was sort of weird. Continued to rain this morning , don’t know if that is what was wrong with Joe or not but he stayed in bed all day long....we left and was going to go up on Mt. Lemmon but decided instead to go to Colossal Cave  beautiful cave. I have taken a bunch of pictures of all sort of thing but when OH change the site the last time my signature disappeared and so did my web site that I had on here down by my signature and I cant find anyplace to access the signature area.....to re install it on there.

Help....if no one knows I will get Andy to fix it when we get back....I just don’t like the New OH that they have now...will see if I can embed the web site on this email somehow. So that at least all of you *****ad here can see some of the pictures. Ok?

 

We aren’t really sure about when we will start back...i love it here and would stay a lot longer. Today when it rained my knees and back about killed me they hurt so badly but now that it has quit we are back to 74 degrees and sunny and NO PAIN.

 

If anyone doesn’t believe that arthritis doesn’t react to humidity they just don’t know....it is amazing how it works.  

 

Saturday , today , we are suppose to go to a bird preserve.....they say there are thousands of birds that migrate down here from up north plus the ones that stay here year round....should be pretty..plus there is a butterfly area there too....seems stange that my daughter has hummingbirds out year round here. She has several hummers here daily.

 

Got a phone call from Michele today. Lol wanting to know why I hadn’t called in a while...it has only been two days since I talked to her.

She said that she went to her doctor again this   morning ,cause there are way too expensive to buy and her doctor told her that she needed to move to somewhere like AZ that her lungs were really bad, and I ask her did she not tell you to quit smoking? She said yeah she said that too lol....I told her that would be the cheapest thing to do.then if after that she still was having trouble then she could look into moving ,

 

 

 

 

SUSAN::::::: lol  well thanks on the day we left , I said the 6^th and Joe said the 8^th and it was really the 7^th that is ok im still right lol  I hope you are all staying warm....i see on the weather bug on the computer it says you all have a good possibility of snow....glad we are here but we are going to have to face coming home one day soon,

Found 80 ac here for sale for 40,000.00 think they would take a check???? Lol

SUSIE::::::I have read and have heard that each stall that you have is a place that you have weighed before...and the longer you were at that  the longer you will be stalled, not day for day tho. Does make sence...your body is saying oh yeah I remember here...maybe this is where she wants us to be. ..lol

BEC:::::::I don’t think your day was boring at all. Boring would have been if you sat in a chair and watched  paint dry....lol

Is suppose to be back warm and pretty today.

Hope things are going well for you today and would like to see those pictures of Paul in the kitchen sometime.

How the girls doing now that they are back at school? So since they both graduate this year isn’t it or next year? What will they be doing now that they graduate?

POOH BEAR:::::: SO  glad to see you are posting and staying in contact with someone about this.sadness you have, it is normal to be sad and lonely for someone you love . you are doing great. And so glad that you are doing pretty good in your eating and all. Oh was going to say if you have any powdered protein like a vanilla or a choc...try some of that in your coffee in the morning ...it is really good and gives you protein to start the day off right. Ok?

Good morning to all.i think our nice warm air has left us.it sure got cold again last night.supposed to be only 29 here today.burrrrr.last night andy said it was trying to give some sleet.come sunday night into monday morning they are calling for a little bit of everything.sleet freezing rain and snow.we sure dont need it.

jan sound's soo pretty where you are at and nice and warm.they might take a check for that piece of land you want.lol.did joe ever get out of bed?he just needed a lit more rest.

everything is good here.rebel is still being silly.rolling around in the grass on his back.he went for a walk with andy again yesterday.jan do you remember my spider plant i have hanging in my front room?it started to bloom the other day,with the little white flower's.it is really getting big for me.i guess i have somewhat of a green thumb.lol.

susie your picture look's good.before you know it you will be in that new coat you got.

janet how is megan doing?we know you must be on pin's and needles waiting for your granddaughter to ocome.how is the rest of your family doing?did you get some more rest?

bec window washing is not boring.it is getting house work done and a good form of a workout.

Good morning!  What a crazy week of work its been.  I guess since everyone is in need of money they are rushing in to do thier taxes and man had it been crazy, its only going to get worse too.  =) I passed both of my state tests! YAY! Thanks for the prayers.  I hope they start hiring and I get a job there.  Everyone says you'll hate it, but who knows.  We went to dinner with some friends last night and I had crab legs, well I only dipped two bites in the butter and I was sicker than a dog.  Before we left I already started throwing up.  Its funny though once I get sick I instantly get better.  I'll chalk that up to another thing to stay away from. Iknew that but it was so little I didn't even think it would hurt.  The crab was good though.  It sound like Jan and Joe are having a good time.  I have been enjoying our nice weather.  I hope everyone is doing great.  I'm down 73lbs now and I feel FANTASTIC! Life is good =)

Good morning everyone, Its a warm 14 degrees here. My poor Dh is about to head out for his good deed today. He is helping a single parent from our church move today. She is losing her house. The economy is bad here, there are no jobs . If you get lucky enough o find one unless its on the base it pays nothing.This poor lady has really been through a lot. Her husband was the former pastor of our church and he had an affair with someone he was giving marriage counseling. She really tried to work things out. I feel very sorry for her. She has recently started coming back to our church.It is a cold day to move.
 
I have two large bags of clothes I have pulled out of my closet that no longer fit. I am amazed I had so many clothes. DH is not amazed. He says he knew I had too much. Funny thing is my clset is still packed. I have been buying a lot lately. I am buying several different sizes at the same time. I have several pairs of size 12 pants and a few 14's. I am able to wear some 16's now. I am still not happy with the way companys size clothes. I have some extra large shirts that fit tight and some large that are big. Pants are not the same sizes in different stores eighther. I hate trying stuff on in the stores but from now on I guess I will have to. I went to Goodwill yesterday and got another winter coat. It red. I always wanted a red coat. Its wool and is a good fit.My other coat is really warm but getting too big. I have a home for it. Angie was the first to ask so it will be hers if she wants it. I wish I could shrink it.

I had a brand new outfit from Goodies (jacket shirt and skirt) with the tags still on it. Its from last year or I would take it back. I tried the skirt on and it fell to the floor it was so big on me. Now thats a wow moment. It must be a size 24 w. I think the thing that gets me the most is my bras(TMI) they are all too big. I had several I had bought that were too small before so at least I have some but they could be smaler and still fit. Its a shame we can't lose in the areas we want first and keep some areas the way they are. Now if I were smart I would get busy on my sewing machine and take then up so they would fit. I bet that will not happen but it is a good thought.

Stay warm today and go get your milk and eggs before the bad weather hits. I am stocked up on my yogurt. The tv says there is a big ice shelf about to break off and when it does the sea level will rise enough to flood a lot of coastal areas , as cold as it has been here global warning seems like a joke.

Good Brrrr Saturday Morning...

Got Paul to walk across Kansas with me yesterday!  Was too funny... oh "I told you so's" are so simply YUM!!!

He told me it probably was not that bad... well..... he said he didn't think we would need to do that one again! and complained the whole way!  BOO YEAH!!!!  I WAS RIGHT!!!  Now that's just WRONG when a person gets that much joy out of an "I told you so" ~tee hee

All kidding aside we had a good day together... we walked and then went to town and run a couple of errands and then just piddled around looking in the pawn shops and such... not really my idea of fun shopping but he was enjoying himself and that made me happy.  We came home and watched an "action" movie... completion to his good day! ~ha

But today is a new day and time to exercise again....

I'm going to make Paul something good... not sure yet what it will be... I have enough apples to make him one more apple pie... have been going to do it now for awhile but just have not done it.  And going to try out my new pressure cooker today as well.

Mimi ~ I have tried twice to get the pics on my profile and I seem to get it all done and it says it's down loading and then it just sets there and never says it's done "processing"... don't know what that problem is?

My girls? ... will both graduate in May... Crystal has applied to the University of Virginia for her Doctorate and AJ has applied for several things I'm not sure what...  I'm praying the Lord will put them both right in the center of His very perfect will... He has done a simply wonderful job of providing and guiding them thus far and I'm quite confident He will continue to do so.

It was sweet of you to send the personal message ... I thank you for that. 

We got a dusting of snow late last night ... and it is in the teens here this morning ... don't know if I will brave it out there or just do my gazelle and weights this morning... i think we are to get a bigger storm tomorrow and night as well.... we do need the moisture... the gravel roads are extremely dusty right now.  I guess what will be will be.

Good Morning Jan and Everyone
 Whew it sure is nippy outside this morning.A whole 3 degrees. neg 9 windchill.{running to grab bikini and tanning lotion} .
Gail and Nikki just left to take her to see her ummmmmm ummmmmmm mother yup thats it LOL. Nikki decided she wanted to try again,But she sure wasn't in no hurry to leave this morning. Kept giving me hugs and kisses telling me I love You Mom i 'm gonna miss you. I didn't want to let her go.But i know no matter how i feel about her mother,it is or will be important for Nikki to have some kind of relationship with her. But i get really sick of Her hurting Nikki and breaking her heart.Have i mentioned i can't stand the woman LOL?
 We now have 2 new cats, Laura couldn't take hers with her so they are here with us. I gave them to her when they were kittens but they sure are big now. We thought they were both female when i first gave them to her .So she named them Caycos{sp] and Precious. Well Precious is a BOY. So we call him Precious Bob cuz he has a silly looking grin on his face.Reminds us of Bob on the enzite{sp} commercial.LOL.
I also have 3 of her plants. One is an Easter Lily{HUGE} and then 2 are trees that bloom big  colored flowers .That are the color of orange and peach mixed together very pretty.
But i am clueless on how to care for them. She said water them 2xs a week. We burn wood so i'm thinking maybe 3xs a week. I don't wanna kill em but don't know how to care for them LOL. I'll have to ask Laura what they are called,Then i can hopefully get some help from Jan on how to care for them.
I made some more peanut butter balls used Chocolate coconut protein powder this time. But with the peanut butter and protein they are so rich ,i can only eat half at a time.But guess thats better than none.

Good morning Missouri and Arizona!  (snicker)

Sitting here trying to decide what to do since the man is home and he loves his car shows and they bore me.  But he likes me to be with him so I'm catching up on computer then I have got to get some things done.  But it will be a quiet day since most of my work is done.  Maybe I'll make some necklaces....I have had the beads for a while and haven't started them.  I also need to get the plaques done but I need some spray polyurethane so I may have to get out to Lowes later.  And I realized that I'm a little hungry...by the way Jan...did you still want me to post the souffle' recipe?

My favorite show is "Lost".  I usually watch it and yell "I hate this show!" because I'm so confused.  But I love it because it keeps me guessing.  I also love Survivor, Dancing With the Stars and CSI Las Vegas.  That's really about all.  We watch a lot of movies and Discovery shows.  He really enjoys Dirty Jobs...most of the time it's too gross for me. 

Dancing lessons last night was so much fun....course it is the 3rd time we've taken this set so we are finally getting the hang of some of the moves.  And we help some of the other couples so the instructor can move around more.  And his partner hasn't been able to come so he's using me to help illustrate the moves.  Kind of a compliment, huh?  Or an illustration of what NOT to do...haha!

WAY TO GO LOU!!!!!  I am so happy for you!!!  And Bec, ain't it fun when you're right!  Rebel is getting spoiled, I think.  He may have TWO homes to visit when Jan & Joe get home.  I bet if we all chipped in we get have our own piece of AZ land to visit in the winter...hmmmm.  Yep, Susie....what global warming?  And don't worry about the stalls...Jan is right.  Your body wants to get to a comfort zone and stay there.  You gotta shake it up and remind it who is boss.  When you as far out as I am it gets harder but I will eat a lot one day and then cut way back for a couple and it gets the scale to move a little.  I know you've struggled w/stalls tho, but hang in there.  It will happen.  Oh, Deb....how I would LOVE to see Precious Bob!  Those commercials slay me w/his stupid grin and a cat that looks like that is priceless!  You are doing the right thing w/Nikki as hard as it is.  And she will remember that and honor you.  Vesta....will we all go to AZ at the same time or different times?  Our own OH vacation spot....mmmmm.  Sounds great.

Well I made it home....The trip wasn't all that bad....I was kinda pooped but feeling better now....
Thanks guys for all the prayers, card, email & etc.....
It was a huge cut but I have not had hardly any pain at all....The sorness has set in from actually being cut but there's not hardly any pain at all....
My drainage is starting to do much better...I think Dr.MacIntyre will feel better when he sees me Monday....It's thining up and clearing up alot from what it was Friday morning.....So hopefully things will go as planned and I get to get the drains out Thursay when I go back....I think thats the crappiest part of the surgeries..With the WLS I only had 1 but this time around they put in 3!!
Oh well Im almost half way thru the first week so it should get easier from here...

Jan ...Sounds like you are having a great time on your trip....

Janet....Sis Im sorry I text you that pic now lol lol.....I thought you wanted to see how things looked...I promise you it looks a whole lot worse than it really is....Ive only taken pain meds for the long trip home and with the pain tollerance you have I know it wont be no biggy for you either....I know you can do it and I know it will be a great help for you to get that apron off there.....

Hello sis and OH  peeps!

Hey sis, go ahead and buy the land and you can put in a travel park and landscape it all pretty and everyone can come see you and help you pay for it...lol! You could work there in the winter and here in the summer...renting out the trailer. HOW's that idea?

Well, part of my paper came in today and I cant wait to get started on it. Im getting the carpet in here re-stretched tomorrow afternoon. And as soon as I get the paper up I can bring the bed in and try setting up for space and see what and where everything will go. Then on to the fun stuff of decorating and finding stuff for the walls. Can you believe I found a shade for the window in the same exact color of the paint of the walls? It sure amazed me that they made one that color. Im going to use this old shelf I have for the valance over that window and I can display some hunting and fishing stuff on it...

Well, I got to work out everyday this week except Wednesday. And it sure feels good to be getting back into the routine after the holidays.

Skyler is having a pool party on the 27th for his 10th birthday. Hes really excited about that. So I will get to swim extra on that day.lol!

Hope everyone is doing great today. Sorry I havent been personally addressing everyone but been busy.

Bec, thanks for the card and tell your daughter thanks too. She also sent me a thank you card for the Christmas party. Your bunch is just too sweet!!!
