I just wanted to say thank you to my secret pal for the birthday e-card and Misty b for the mail birthday card.  They both made my day!!  Ok here is a question for anyone who has had to have their gallbladder out since they have had surgery, does it hurt bad after surgery, do you have a drain tube, and who did your surgery?  I mioght be having mine out with Doctor Hornbostel.  Had US yesterday and gallstones were found, just waiting on a call from their office.  What should I expect?  Thanks in advance all.

Blessings,
Kerri

Dr. H removed my gall bladder about 18 months after my RNY.  I slept in my recliner for three days.  Not as painful as the bypass.  I didn't have a drain tube.  I was painfree in about 2 weeks.

Good luck!
