Feelin' the burn...Tuesday....Let's try this...
Okay, so here is our exercise accountability thread. I am going to be the first to admit that I didn't exercise today because I have a stomach bug and have pretty much felt terrible all day.
But I'm looking forward to feeling better and keeping myself accountable. So, post away, tell us what you did today that got your heart rate up, for how long, and how great you feel for doing something good for you!

I'll be honest here....I didn't do anything today except shopping. Does whipping out a gift card count? No? drats.
But I am planning on starting since we are attempting to be accountable. Probably not tomorrow since my mom is visiting...see, already coming up w/excuses! Oh well....
I did play Wii w/my husband the other night. The boxing got my heart rate way up! And I still have muscles that hurt. Should try something like that, too.

Well good for you for starting this little spot for us to brag or confess our shortcomings..lol
Today I got to the pool a little early and did 10 minutes of water resistance walking and then I did 1 hour of water aerobics...with about a 30 minute cardio section where are heart rate gets up there. I did extra leg work today with the noodles and my muscles are thanking me this evening.
Do I get a gold star??? lol

Howdy Brandy...
Started the day with 20 minutes upper body weights... Paul brought me home new 5 lb weights I traded in my big V-8 juice can at Christmas for 3 lb weights that I've been using... I'm not ready for the 5 lb weights yet and then after I get done with those I can strap them together and have 8 lbs... probably will not go higher than those.... I don't want to scare any body! ~tee hee
Then I decided I would take my walk on a new route and boy oh boy was it a long boring walk... it was 4.5 miles and flat and straight row crop land... I didn't even see a darn cow!!! So I will get right back to my horse strewn pretty path.
I was walking 3.3 miles a day on the same route every day but now I upped it to 4 miles and a harder route in preparation for a mountain hiking vacation in Colorado this summer if it works out... schedules are going to have to mesh if that's to happen though...
I may have some "friends" visiting here in February and I'm going to drag them along and torture them with my daily routine... if you are reading this then you know what your in for! ~tee hee
I'm happy you started this tread as I know so many struggle with exercise...seems for once in my life I am not struggling with this... as I've said before I know it is a direct gift from the Lord that I'm very thankful for!
There just seems to be no way around it... it does take discipline and hard work but the rewards are worth it in many ways. So hopefully we all can find ourselves in a better place for our added efforts.
