WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

Got to Deming New Mexico around 4pm  some beautiful sites along the way.... took a tour around in the city in El Paso....got a good look at the fence between Tex and Mexico.... seems really sad , someone is in jail don’t know if it is us or them... saw the Rio GRANDE river....looked like a junky little creek that didn’t know that it was suppose to be a divider....and of course couldn’t get my camera to work...earlier I had pushed a button and didn’t know how to change it and of course the next time I took the camera out to see if I could fix it. Of course it was working just fine. I think I pushed the button that set the timer on the picture and I couldn’t figure out how to get it off lol ...im not to sharp on camera. Usage. Lol.

 

Found Mikaela this cute little shirt that says( go ahead and push me around , but something you ought to know, ive got the meanest , baddest grandma in town.)isn’t that cute....she is just the little character to carry that off too. such a clown...

 

Ask the girl at the front desk if they had a wal-mart and if it were closest enough to walk to...she said oh yeah it is just up the street not even a block away....well I would hate for her to tell me that something was just down the road a piece....less than a block?? Was over a mile a way lol not that I cant walk that but was just the idea of her saying it was less than a block lol anyway we needed the walk to stretch our legs , after getting my protein bars we walked back at a real fast speed....

 

Tomorrow we will go on into Teresas, main reason we didn’t push to get to her house tonight was that she had to work tonight she said it was already on the schedule and she couldn’t get out of it...so we didn’t really want to push that hard any way so we decided to wait till tomorrow and it wont take us but about 3 ½ hours to get to her house ....will be best anyway...we get up have coffee and breakfast and then leave here when it has gotten up nice and warm....and get to her house about 2 or 3..... im getting excited to see her...been awhile. I hope she is doing well..

 

 

POOH BEAR:::::: you were talking about seed catalogs....or maybe it was Sandy, I had gotten before we left on vacation about 20 seed catalogs and I know there will be more. Sometimes I think I get all of them there are but I can put in google seed catalogs and there are so many it is hard to comprehend that many nurseries in the world let alone the USA....lol

I think you have already went stir crazy ? maybe ? I think all these people on here we have you all wrong, sweet little Bec, phoo, I think you are getting way too much sass, I think you always had it but it is getting out on you  .....baking Paul pies and getting him heavy so he has to walk with you...poor Paul ....lol    love you sweetie.

 

 

SANDY::::::::me too im really getting all reved up with being on vacation. Sitting on the back of the trike I have been thinking and planning oh what and where I will plant what.

When we get back I want to make a raised asparagus bed....i know it will be a couple of years before they produce but I want an asparagus  bed... and im wanting to plant some fruit trees too... again I know they will take a while...ive never raised either one of these things so if anyone can give me any hints or anything bring it on...Sandy what all do you do to your fruit trees , spraying schedules and with what?  I bet that is your dads job?

 

 

 

SUSIE::::::: Rue 21 mostly is for younger people but a sweater is a sweater no matter what store it comes from ....same with a t shirt of jeans and shoes. Lol or at least I think so. Im not real smart about clothes tho so don’t know. When I was losing a lot of weight I learned real quick to not try to guess about what size I would wear when....i thought well surely I would wear such and such a size at Christmas , bought an outfit and come Christmas it was way to big. Same with the next summer , I bought 2 new outfits during a sale in January and they had some summer clothes  well by summer I was lot littler than the clothes were so after that I bought what I just had to have at the moment...love your new avatar......cant wait to see you in Feb hope you will come to the COF meeting then....

 

 

DEBBIE D.::::::::San Antonio is a pretty town that is for sure. Joe and I have been here before too. When we lived in Houston we came one week end to S.A. and went camping on the  Guadalupe river....beautiful area we were in ...never have been on the river walk...or inside the Alamo....we walked around the outside , sure isn’t nearly as big as I thought it would be for sure.

Sounds like the boys are both doing great.  They sound like some wonderful boys ....you should be really thankful for what God has given you.

Im still praying for David to find the perfect job, I do think that things are going to get worse before they get better again but im sure there is a great job out there for him....

 

 

 

JANET:::::::so good to see you back online sweetie. I cant believe all the things that happen to you and your kids and family....we will continue to keep you in our prayers always....

Hope you got to all of your test done ok. So you will know something probably soon then huh ?

Is Aaron still employed? Hope so...how about the house for them, where is it located?

I sure am glad that no one was hurt with the tire blowing out.....are you sure the police haven’t hauled it off to the impound lot , I hope not but they usually wont let cars sit on the side of the road for very long.

So baby girl could come at any time huh? I hope they get their house first and get all the painting and cleaning done first....

 

Wish I was home I would come and help all of you get some of it done, Joe and I together can do some painting ....

SUGAR::::::I AM having a great time , so relaxed and feeling so good.  We will get to Teresas tomorrow early afternoon.  And we plan on staying with her for up to 5 or 6 days... she said she wanted to show us some neat stuff so looking forward to that. I told her I wasn’t interested really in going sleding in the snow on the mountains. We are escaping the snow, lol

We are still half way thinking about going ahead and going to Ca. but that isn’t for sure yet.....

Your room sounds neat....that is sort of what I would like to do to the trailer maybe I can copy some of what you are doing to that room lol ....

 

That is why I really love my laptop computer , I can be anywhere with it and then all of the other stuff can stay hidden, like the printer and papers etc. they don’t need to be out in the open unless they are needed. ....

Have you been going to the gymn for water aerobics? ...talk to all of you tomorrow.

Hey Jan and All,

         Sounds like you are having alot of fun on your trip.Would love to do that some day.
         I have decided that tomorrow(Monday) I am gonna start the 5 day pouch test.To see if it will get me back on track. If nothing else I will at least get my protein and water in that way. Wish me luck on getting straightened out.
        Haven't been on for awhile cuz my computer was messed up for a while. But it's working fine now.
        I'm gonna see my PCP Monday cuz my back has really been giving me alot of trouble. I have three bad disc in my lower back. Have had surgery on it back in 93 but it has really been acting up again. She will probally have me do water therapy again. Which is fine with me cuz it really helps.

         My kids are all doing great. Robbie really likes his new job.They are going to buy a house. So they are in the proccess of finding one now. They have already been approved so as soon as the find one they like they can get it. And they are getting one big enough for me to have a room there so I can come and stay whenever I want to.Plus some more good news, My daughter in law is pregnant again. Hopfully she will be able to carry this one and not lose it like last time. She is about seven weeks along. She goes to the DR on Tuesday for a check up and ultra sound. So please say a prayer for my little grand baby.We are all hoping for a girl this time.

      I don't always address every, but I do love reading what you all write.I am glad we have some place like this to go.  And where people don't judge you. It's a good feeling. Well take care and God bless everyone Love, Tammy V.

good morning everyone i know it is early one of my night's where i cannott sleep.it is a little cool here this morning.sure was pretty yesterday.the sun came out for a while.andy and i even had our front door open for a little while.supposed to be in the 30's a few day's this week then later on in the 50's.you never know around here anymore.

jan sound's like you and joe are having a good time.you said you and joe can do some painting.you all are good at painting.you helped andy and me get this house ready for us to move into.you would never know it is the same house we saw for the first time.

sound's like you and joe got your walking in going to walmart.hope the weather stay's nice along the way for you.

i wanted to tell anyone who take's fish oil pill's a better way to take them if you have trouble doing so.a nurse at my doctor's app the other day told me she has to take them and she freeze's them.they wont leave a bad taste in your mouth after you take them and you wont get a bad taste after you burp.she said it does help people who have to take them.i meant to tell you this before but my old age made me forget lol.

tammy v andy has done the 5 day jump start for his pouch before also it does help.you will lose some more weight it will come off before you know it.just hang in there.

deb d good too see you on the board again.i go to the doctor in columbia feb 24.they want to make sure everything is ok with my lab's i should get my surgery date that day.andy and i are sure praying for that.they told us surgery's are about a month out so we guess around the end of march.i am getting soo excited.everyone has be soo helpfull too me.you all are my angel's.andy has been really good about helping me get ready.my bloos sugar is doing better with insulin,but i am ready to get rid of it.

susie you are doing great with your weight loss.i told andy i did not want to get any new clothe's till i started to lose weight.i told him i did iwant a new pair of pant's to come home from the hospital in so i would not lose my old one's.lol.

angie thank's agin for starting up the gift exchange again i lknow we will all have a lot of fun.

bec did your horses like your apple's?i know they miss their treat's when you do not get to walk outside.you have to have treat's for the dog's too.you will have to spoil them just like tito.lol.

janet sound's like you have a lot going on around your house.andy and i sure are praying for you.we know it is no fun being with out power with all this cold weather.a few year's ago we lost power where we lived in ironton during a ice storm it felt colder in our house than outside.we know you are ready to see that baby girl.

renee how are you doing these day's?is your grandbaby coming soon also?you and your sister will make good grandmother's.

Dear Aunt Jan and OH peeps.....

We had a nice Sunday except for: Mike and I spent our weekend in pain-it was nuts. It was like the Snap, Crackle and Pop guys were us! LOL.....then, add the moans and groans from the pain when we would go to straighten out or what have you! It was a hideous sight. We each had the full back/body mats-massagers that also have heat in them.

Jan, its a good time for you to be in the state of AZ-since they are so excited about being in the Superbowl, huh? Anyone have any thoughts, about what team is going to win??? OR, who do you WANT TO WIN??

I have a busy day today, I KNOW! Whats New??? I just wanted to get in and do my post because I was having a problem with posting earlier, but I told Sheila I would post for her:

Have any of you heard about the cellular phone company that is offering a little laptop for $99 total, but you have to sign a 2 yr contract for service and the broadband service is $60 per month?

Finally, before I get to my individual posts-Do any of y ou know of anyone who would be interested in a lop earred bunny? He is 6 months old, cutest thing you ever saw! He comes with the fancy indoor cage-has an area built into it where the bunny goes to the restroom (and this one does) He has a toy carrot rattle that he loves and plays with. He has a collar, like a harness type-a leash (yes, he walks on the leash). He is even litter boxed trained so he can be loose through the house!!  If anyone is interested, just let me know. We can email pics of Hopsy if you want them!  Thanks!!!

Good Morning!  thanks so much for the prayers for my grandpa.  He's doing great.  After I got off work last night we went to the hospital and got him up to walk, helped him brush his teeth, put lotion on his back and gave him a pep talk HA!  He was so very luck.  My friend thats surgeon he's what I callt he laprascopic king.  He used to do RNY and I helped him until the hospital decided they only wanted to do bands, anyway he was able to fix his blocked instestine with the scope.  So my grandpa has 3 tiny incisions.  The thing he's complaining about is the NG tube in his nose.  He says it hurts, his throat is sore he can't sleep.  He was crying last night, I felt so bad for him.  You know I kinda felt like that with that drain after the RNY.  I think they will take that out today and let him eat and he will be much happier.  Tomorrow he should go home.  The power of prayer is AWESOME!  Thanks so much everyone!  I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  My week is crazy.  But crazy good, I'm working 2 jobs now and it seems like every year real estate is slow until I start my seasonal tax job and boom here come all the buyers.  I'm not going to complain at all.  I'm so very thankful.  Lou (~.~)

Bet you all can't guess what I get to do today?  That's right!  CLEAN HOUSE!!!  Aren't you jealous?  blech....  My mom is coming up for a short visit this week and I need to touch up the dust and floors.  I cannot believe how filthy a house can get w/two people and a cat! Jiminy!  I know I wouldn't do this if I wasn't having company...I usually let it get pretty dirty, first.  But I know it will go easier since it's not quite as dirty as usual.  Hopefully it will go quick, I truly dislike cleaning house.  (Kind of glad she's old and doesn't see as well as she used too!) 

Then I have a few more things I want to do (or HAVE to do!)  I think I have finally got the plaques for my secret sister figured out.  I worked on them last night after we killed ourselves playing Wii.  Sure was fun, tho.  Except we are both so competitive!  Full contact, or nothing!  Haha.  So I would like to finish those and get them sprayed w/the high gloss and get them to her.  They are ONLY a month late!  At least she knows I'm working on them, she just doesn't know what they are.  Then the other wifey things must be done....laundry, dinner etc. 

So I tried to get caught up on what's going on here.  You've been busy this weekend!  I do think about each of you and hope you are all doing well.  I need to get going, tho, I have a lot of stuff I want to get done today.  But needed to take a minute and say hello.

Spraying fruit trees - The instructions tell you what & when to do it.  I go by the local extension center monthly newsletter I get as to when to spray as I always get it mixed up - like when they are budding or when they are blooming?

Jan - I do it as Dad says "worms have to eat also"  then you have to fight the birds off trying to get the worms - SIGH!!@!  I get the spray at ace hardware for fruit trees - can't find the box to tell you the name of it.

I am back on the potato chip craze again  and I try to eat cheese with them so I have protein with the bad carbs.  Limiting myself to one small bag a day...  I know I have to break this habit before I reach the weight I want to be at.

Covered the car up with the tarp as we are supposed to get snow tonight.  I am wanting spring to come so bad!!!  We are having to buy wood now  $50 to $70 a load.

The bread turned out really well.  Had to bake it a little longer than recomended.  I was surprised.  Will add more splenda and cinnamon next time.

I had to work today at the middle school and my room had no heat all day. I am chilled to the bone.I hope I can get warmed up. I am about to say I do not need any snow just warm weather. I was miserable today. I hope its supposed to warm up soon.

Jan I used to live in El Paso and went into Mexico often. We are so blessed in this country. I really feel for how some of the Mexicans have to live. There is not much left of the Rio Grand.I used to see people in it all the time. I guess they were hoping for a chance to sneek across. I do not blame them.

I have been slacking off on the wii some. Dh is always home when I can use it and I do not like having an audiance. I need to get back into it.Its hard when I work everyday. Flimsey excuse I know.

I hope Deb did well today. Wish I could have gone up there with you guys.
