MistyB is home...what a day!

MistyB finally made it home.  What a mess!.  She had some kind of reaction to a shot, and the powers that be felt the need to do some tests.  She was to be released this a.m. but the testing delayed the process until the afternoon.  By then it was about 4:30 and the transport service she uses was shutting down at 5 and wouldn't pick her up.  So she called me and we were racking our heads trying to figure how to get her home.  Her dad doesn't have a license and couldn't drive.  PLUS, he was taking care of her daughter, who is 5 and severely autistic.

So, basically, Misty was stranded in Sedalia with no way home.  we were calling back and forth and I was trying on my end to get her some help.  Last resort was for me to go to the hospital, pick her up,drive her to Stockton, then make it back to Holden arounf midnight.  But something came through, and she called me about 9:30pm at home.

Is her polace on the loser's bench polished up?

you bet it is polished . we had enough time to deep shine it and hope it isnt so slick that she slips off...she should have told them that now they had to keep her another night...but i would imagijne she was anxious to get home.  Misty sure hope the rest of your days are better than this one was.

Geeze I wish she would of called me,..I would of took her home,...I didn't have to cook supper I did crockpot today so it wouldn't of been that big of a deal.  I live in Sedalia.  Is it a full moon or what, the granddaughter of a lady that lives across the alley from me was here this morning looking for her.  She has Alzheimer's and guess she wondered off in the night,...I have been worrying about her all day.  I hope she is doing ok.

Thank you for the offer.  The problem was that she lives in Stockton, a good distance from anyone who lives near Bothwell.  She said the ride was OK, not too painful.

The ride home wasn't bad.  Just alot of stuff going on today.  Pain in legs, fever and such.  Just not feeling as good as I was the other day.

Thanks for shining my seat on the loser's bench.
