As I read in Matthew this morning of how Jesus went and healed those that believed, He was going to the little girl that had just died and while walking through the crowd He felt the power go out of Him, it was the woman who had bled for twelve years, she touched His cloak and was instantly healed.  She had such faith and knew if she could just touch him she’d be healed and she was.  Jesus said to her “your faith has made you healed" and at that very moment she was healed.  Wow what faith she had to of had,  she knew in her heart that all she had to do was touch his garment and she’d be healed and sure enough her faith made her whole,  her faith in Jesus, her faith in who He was.  How much more today will our heavenly Father heal us, be with us if we could have that kind of faith.  That’s the kind of faith we need to make it on our diets, that’s the kind of faith I want and need in order to be single minded and not double minded with my diet all the time.  That kind of faith is out there if we can only grab onto it and take it.  That’s the kind of faith I am striving for on a daily basis, the kind of faith I need to make it through the day.

***Bec*** I can so relate with you on being single and double minded.  I have been praying for that single mindedness that you have when it comes to exercise.  I had that at one time with both my diet and exercise and seem to have let it go, boy is it so easy to slip back into that double mindedness, so easy if you let it.  Reading the word on a daily basis has really renewed my strength to start digging the wells again, I am so determined to dig dig dig as you said until I get that living water flowing again.  Once you get lazy on doing something for the Lord that ole stinking devil really fights you hard but Praise God we have him to lean on and help us.  Thank you Bec for that encouraging word yesterday,  I needed what you said so bad, thank you!!

Well I’m going to get this posted, I’ve run a bit later this morning.  Hope everyone has a wonderful blessed day.

Daily Devotional for Dieters

Romans 15:29
"But I know that when I come to you, I shall come in the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Christ".

Are you living in the fullness of His blessing? God’s blessing is His supernatural empowerment. It is His favor. And we’ve all seen a measure of His blessing, but I believe there is a whole new level He wants to take you to. God has promises and opportunities in store for you that you haven’t even thought of yet! What you’ve seen in the past is only a fraction of what God wants to do in your future.

Understand that God likes to outdo Himself. He wants to open doors for you and bring out talents and abilities you didn’t even know you had. Remember, the God we serve is a God of abundance. He is the God of more than enough. Not only does He want to meet your needs, He wants to give you enough to bless other people. That’s living in the fullness of the blessing. Don’t settle where you are. Your destiny is not determined by the economy, by your past, or what anyone else thinks or says.  Your destiny is determined by Almighty God. He wants you to tap into a greater measure of His blessing and live the abundant life He has in store for you!

Today's thought: Live in the fullness of His blessing!

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Can you EVEN imagine working seven years for ANYTHING only to find out you were tricked!!!! Egads!!! It always amazes me how the Lord does things... and what He allowed... what He does as a result of sin... I still have a bit of a trouble thinking about this multi wife thing anyway!!! ~tee hee

I just love the Psalms where I can most always get a word of encouragement of how He will be with His people and take such good care of US!!!

Then there is always the Proverb that lets us know we better hold up our "end of the bargain" so to speak if we want to live in blessing! ~ha

I loved the devotion again today!!! "My destiny is not determined by the economy, by my past or what anyone else says... but by ALMIGHTY GOD!!!"  Oh that speaks HOPE to me!  I do feel for the fist time in a long long time that the Lord does have a special work for me... one that I have not done before! I'm excited to see what He is going to do in my life.  Seems like right now I am on the "treadmill" of preparation! ~tee hee

Love the word that never returns void!

The other day I posted about the shepherd needing to break the sheeps leg to gain total dependancy.  Well, I think the Lord is "breaking my leg". I found out yesterday that I have a prolapsed bladder that will need to be fixed. That is not the big deal, the big deal is that this may also require a hysterectomy. I am only 28 years old I am married with a beautiful little girl. The problem is that we are still planning on having more children. I feel just devastated about this. Then I remembered what I read. I feel better knowing that the Lord will provide me with more children. Whether it is from my womb or from adoption. I know I will be blessed. I have complete trust in the Lord to do what is right for me and my family.

I also heard a thought that struck me. The Lord has thought about you more times than there are GRAINS OF SAND on this Earth. Isn't it amazing that He loves us that much and so unconditionally!
