Cor,
Sorry its taken me so long to reply.  I got this receipe off wls on 11/30/05.  Here goes:

White Chili Recipe

cook time 8 hours

servings 6

Ingredients
2 tbs vegetable oil, 2lbs. ground turkey or ground chicken, 1 medium onion finely chopped, 1tbs minced garlic, 1 tsp kosher salt, 1 1/2 c. chicken broth, 1 tbsp tomato paste, 1 yellow bell pepper chopped( I used green) 1 tbsp butter;;;, 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, 1 tsp black pepper, 1tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp tabasco,  1 (4 oz) can chopped green chillies drained, 1 (19oz) can great northern beans drained.

1)  In a large skillet over medium heat warm the oil, add turkey, onion, garlic, and salt and coo****il the meat is cooked through breaking up the meat as it cooks.  Drain any remaining juices from the pan and set aside.

2)  In the slow cooker crock, combine broth and tomato paste and mix well.  Add meat mixture to the crock.  Then, add all the ingredients except for the chillies and beans.  Stir well to combine.  Top with chillies and beans - do not stir again.

3)  cover and cook on low for 7 hours.  Stir well and then cook 1 more hour.

I usually put on in the evening before I go to bed.  I also usually add some hot sauce but I like hot and spicy.  Hope you enjoy.  this was one of the first things I really enjoyed after surgery but I did not eat it till I was 7 weeks out.
