WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

We woke up Sunday morning with the weather suppose to be in the high 50s and partly sunny  but so far at 10am it is still cloudy and only 40 so don’t know if it will make it to the high 50s today or not, our friend woke up this morning , dizzy and feeling nauseated. She doesn’t have a cold but she feels miserable that she is too sick to sit up and talk...i went and got her a sprite and told her she needs to drink it or get something in she is a diabetic and will be getting even sicker if she doesn’t get something in to eat.

Finally got my friend to eat some oatmeal and then later some chicken noodle broth...i was beginning to get worried about her and her insulin. . but she is ok now.

We will be leaving here in the morning about 9 am I think so that we can get to my sisters house tomorrow afternoon, it is about a 4 to 5 hour drive from here to there...lot of two lane logging roads so will be pretty boreing . knowing me and the cold I will probably be asleep about the time we hit the main road over there. It is  really straight shot but a lot  little towns and lots of pine trees being logged.  Will just have to keep our eyes open for them....please pray for our safety Monday....

Got all our dirty laundry done. Did all of Susies too since she was sick , she got up and saw it and like to had a fit. I told her to stop  wasn’t no problem and felt like I needed to do something ....i don’t like sitting still and  doing nothingl.

SUSAN:::::: well im glad im not going to be at home on that night will be 3 degrees ...brrrrrrrrrr that is cold. Man that is cold.

Well did Rebel act like he knew what you was talking about when you told him that we loved him?lol

I bet you could learn to make clothes for yourself....get easy patterns.something simple I bet you could learn real easy.... and I bet someone like Bec or some of the other girls would love to show you some hints and tips.

Well I hope you didn’t snore in church....lol silly girl...

SUSIE:::::; one trick I use to keep my plate from getting too much to eat, use a saucer instead of a dinner plate.   About eating a cup of yogurt that is more or less liquid. And liquid your able to eat a lot more of it than solid protein. Now if you were able to eat a whole cup of steak I would say whoaaaaa nelly ....

Pork rinds are pretty good protein but you just need to limit yourself on them....open up a package and get you some zip lock snack bags and fill them up and put the rest of them up. Not saying you wont go get another bag but at least you will have time to think. Lol

So pork skins aren’t the devil...silly girl....they are at least good for you.

So take care and don’t beat yourself up so bad....just do what you know your suppose to do.

BEVERLY BRANCH::::::lol hey Bev im that way and I think most of us are really if we let our self. Come on really now the snacks just taste better don’t they lol .....but will    need to watich it cause you can get into the habit of grazing and that will cause you to not only lose weight but can make you gain weight ...so be careful on the snacks. ...

Do you take the b-12 shots or use b-12 dots.  Our doctor wants us to run a high b-12 level says we need it to be higher than normal anyway I give myself the b-12 shot two times a month.. and if I don’t I am really tired and wore out.

We are having a great time and that is why we are headed out to Az. And maybe go onto  California.  i cant  go in the summer time because  of my flowers so the only time I can go traveling is in the winter.lol  most of the time we go on cruises to the Bahamas or Caribbean’s  but this year we decided we would stay in the U.S. and do it on the trike.

LOU::::::: wow 18s already wow.....that is amazing.you are doing a great job. Do you know why they wont let people file on income taxes till the 16th, I have never heard of such a thing....ever .

We are doing great on our trip...having a great time.

SUGAR:::::::we are leaving for Kathys on Monday morning  , this morning. Lol that duck blind is really funny.....

Well don’t know what to say about the pastor , you know it was something  that you weren’t so sure of anyway.. you just have to let the Lord work at it and show you all what he has in mind for the church. It is a beautiful big church.. that hopefully God will find someone for you all. So will the internim pastor continue to  serve you all ...

We will probably be home  around the middle of Feb. I have to start my seedlings about then lol so will need t o be home.  We thought about seeing what cruise there was going out of Calif. And do that to but decided that by then we would be the end of Feb before we could get home. Which would be good in that we would miss all of Feb weather.

Teresa was talking about going up o n mt Lemmon to do sleding  and I told her , hey im coming out there to get warm not go up where there is snow. Lol

GOD LOVE ALL OF YOU AND BLESS YOU

LOVE AND HUGS....

Good morning all. I wi**** would snow or warm up.Cold weather is only good for snow. Its not fair to be so cold without the snow. We have been in Missouri since the summer of 2005 so this is our fourth winter and we haven't seen very much snow. I really expected more. I guess losing some weight has made me sassy like Bec. I think I might be able to sled down the hill if I ever get snow.

I have another appointment with the orthodontist today. I get bands put on my back teeth. I had two that escaped the horror and he can't let that happen. He has to punish them all. I hate it and almost wish I had never done this. I have to wear them about another year.

I woke up with a bit of a tummy ache this morning. I figured I was hungry so I ate and it didn't help. I hope I am not getting sick. I haven't had any aches before. It would be my luck to get the flu .

I hope everyone is feeling better and you are all in my prayers.

Good Morning Missouri,

Oh my gosh Suz~ee... if it snows I want to come fly down your hill!!!!  I've NOT near all the sass I need but I do want fly down that hill!!!!

Well both girls are gone and my heart is heavy as usual when they first leave but I have to get busy and get my "routine" back in sync now... I did exercise way more than I had been before they came home... and I did see a real good weight loss while they were here a whopp'n 13 lbs! Praise the Lord!

First I wanted to say even though I am way way late on this how much wonderful fun my family and I had at the COF Christmas Party... Paul, and my girls commented several times about how enjoyable it was!  I dearly loved being with all the folks again and it was special to me that my family came along and enjoyed being with you all!  Sugar and Janet BLESS BLESS BLESS you ladies!  I enjoyed cutting up with David and Debbie D.'s husband and especially enjoyed meeting Janet's Steph! I had already met Megan when she came up to see me in the hospital.... both wonderful young ladies!  Speph was setting next to me for the games in the circle and I had seen a pin she had on her pants of a cute crafty moose and said it was cute and the sweet girl just gave it to me! It is precious to me! Not so much for how cute it is but that the sweet girl just wanted to give it to me!!!  So I got earrings to match it as well... and I already have a new size Large... not X or 1X or 2X or 3X or 4X  just large for next year that will go wonderfully with it!

Crystal and I got my closet cleaned out... oh my gosh was that HARD!  I don't know what the heck was the matter with me!  I was mourning all those HUGE clothes!!! Instead of being so very HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY that they were all going I nearly cried a couple of different times during the course of the job!! How CRAZY is that!!!!!  I guess I will chalk it up to all these "evil" ~tee hee hormones that is running rampant thru my body!  Any way wow I had HUGE amounts of clothes that went bye bye... some I have for the next clothing exchange, two huge bags I gave to the good will and then some I hope to sell.  But the closet is just full of clothes that does not fit me yet... you wouldn't believe how much more room is in the closet with the smaller clothes hanging ... it was a real eye opener!

When we took Crystal to the air port we went to Penney's Outlet and Name Brand Clothing and I got about seven new shirts to hang in my closet for super good prices!  It was fun.

The weather was so nice a few of the days that the girls were here that we got in several good bike rides that was on top of my walking for the day... so many days by evening when it was time to watch a movie I was plumb tuckered out! and fell asleep... I hated that as I didn't want to miss a single minute with the girls!

Well I could talk on and on I have quite a few pics I want to put in my profile but I have to "figger" it out first... Jo took them and stored them on my flash drive but I have to study to get them off!  Man I'm challenged!

Well I'm going to see if I can get Paul to walk with me this morning I want to take a new road for the fun of it...

Will tell you all more as I think of it... I have pics of Paul's cooking lesson... he was a hoot!  He is a MAN that's for sure!!! ~ha

As always I know there are many needs and I am praying for each .... I even got a new book from my secret pal Jeanine to put all the prayer request in so I will be sure and remember them all... she was a wonderul secret pal and in the midst of going thru so much her self!  I pray she is doing better each day and able to get back in her home so very soon!

You all have a good day and be blessed!

Good Morning Aunt Jan and OH Peeps-

Wow was yesterday a busy day on the homefront, but one that I enjoyed in spite of the household jobs we were tackling!  Im so glad that most of the re-arranging and such is finally finished. I have so much more to tackle before the middle of next month and I fear not a moment to spare! ARGH!

We got most all of our Christmas stuff packed back away for this year-LOL....We got the tv moved and the pictures put back out and arranged and hanging above the fireplace is the new picture that Mike and I got at the white elephant at the inlaws-for some reason, Mike just adores that picture, and right under it-is dad, in his box from the crematory. It was the only 2 things above the fireplace and just looked too "plain". So, I put all kinds of our family pic frames around it yesterday and it looks a lot better now.  Mike was having a tough time of it, but I reminded him that dad was with US now, in our hearts and our memories and that he is living on-and I am reminded that dad is living on in that older gentleman that saw his grandkids for the first time because of dads cornea. We miss him so much. It also happened to be my dads birthday and I sent him an ecard. I was going to call, but just couldnt muster it up yesterday and so I sent the card instead. I just felt so physically and emotionally drained. Gheesh-I am so hoping and praying so hard that tomorrow nets some real results.

I have a lot to do today. Mike took all our library books back for us-thank goodness (so I dont have to go to Neosho AND Joplin). I now have a huge fine there, because I was off on the day they were due! Darn it. I owe the library like $45 now! So, will be making a couple of pmts to them now too. I thought we got the books over christmas break because Darrel was with us and it was during the day, but he reminded me that it was when they had snow days because of the ice-so they were at least 3 days past due-at $1 a day and 15 books-and it is PER BOOK...Darn it-thats the first time thats happened to me!  Oh well, maybe I will get lucky and they will be doing another food drive-where each canned good you donate goes towards your dues....I will definitely go buy a bunch of veggies to put in the food drive. Im so disappointed in myself.

Well, today Jon and I have some extra school work to do because of him being puney last week and there were a couple of days he just wasnt getting it because he didnt feel well, so I need to wrap this up and get going with the little guy.

**Jan-I am praying travelers mercy for you and uncle Joe.  Please keep us posted when you get there, to your sis's, safely. Enjoy the trip, and stay warm. All my love to both of you and thanks for the prayers.

**Susan-I am okay. I am hanging on to the hopes that tomorrow there will be some good news at the dr, a plan of action, something.....I am desperate for some real answers. I dont want to continue to live this way-it stinks.  Thanks for the prayers.

**Bec-it is so good to see you back!  Love and miss you so much!  Your in my prayers.

**Peggy-Hope your doing good. You have been on my heart a lot lately. Hope all is well.  Love ya.

**Susie-Hope your not getting sick. Saying prayers for you.

**Sandy-praying for your daughter and you. Love you.

**Sugar-Praying for your church and your family. Love you.

**Deb (pooh), Deb D, Barbara S, Sheila, Renee, and everyone else I am forgetting by name-my mind just drew a blank-sorry.....I love you all and your all in my thoughts and prayers.  Love, Janet

Morning all...

Sitting here, sipping protein coffee and trying to figure out what to do first.  Course, I'm doing it....catching up w/all of you and then to Bible study and then to the work that needs to be done.  No house cleaning today!  But I do have more laundry....oh well.

We did manage to get the bow window put back together yesterday...so all the house windows are officially done!  Yay....and it feels warmer in the front room.

Today is gray and windy and just feels wet.  So I'm assuming the humidity must be high.  I can usually feel these fronts in the changes in my headaches and today it's a little more painful.  They are calling for rain so we will see and the cold will be moving in later this week.  I know these changes wreak havoc on some of you (Janet) and I pray you all can make it thru til Spring.

I am STILL working on the gift for my Secret Sister at church.  Sigh....every idea I have had just isn't working.  I have made plaques....tried resin, didn't work....finally made them out of plaster.  They are sanded and painted.  Now I am trying to figure out how to make the decals and get them to stick so I can spray them w/clear gloss.  If I had a kiln, I would have just made them out of ceramic and fired them but figuring out the decals has been the worst.  I am printing them on my computer on special paper but when I remove the backing some of the print is coming off too.  Exasperating.  I KNOW there has to be a way....I will work on them some more today.  Thank heavens she is an understanding friend and if I EVER get them done, she will love them.  They are banner plaques and each has a different name of Christ on it.  I've had some on my tree for years and always get comments.  But I can't find them anymore so I decided to try and make them....yikes.  I really would like to get them to work.  I still have some more ideas to try.

Hope you all have a great day!
Peggy

It's about learning to dance in the rain.
