This is what I had...2 to 2 1/2 oz of chicken salad....grounded up the chicken really fine, added ff mayo, egg, salt and pepper. I had this yesterday too and did the same thing...thought that because I was out and moving around so much that was why...but that was yesterday...today is today....I just ate....and have felt sick to my tummy every since. I felt fine earlier...whats up with that...
But I have noticed it do that with everything that I eat.....Ok so am I eatting to much at one time?? or is it what Im eatting??

I had RNY 2 months ago and couldn't  tolerate chicken or tuna saladfor a while. I'm finally noticing tolerence changes. Try ensuring small bites and take your time eating. Eating too fast will make you sick. Instead of chicken or tuna I had steamed (microwaved) fish, peanut butter, soft scrambled egg or cottage cheese. Did you eat the chicken salad on bread? try very crisp crackers. Taco meat mixed with refried beans on tortilla was tolerated too.

Pr obley neither or both, how fast are you eating.....chewing....may be too much but most of the timebut then again it may not be anything... maybe chicken isnt something. that your tummy wants right now...try tiny bites and wait for a few minutes in between bites.  ..something that you eat now wont be a problem later on so dont dispair.  ...... Cor I too am fairly certian it was the chicken.  It was about 5 to 6 months out before I could eat chicken.  Even pureed.  The only meat my tummy would tolerate was pork for a longggg time.  I had surgery in Jan and in July I was still just doing pork now that I think about it.  FOr some reason chicken is very hard for us to eat.  Maybe try some boneless skinless chicken thighs next time and bake them and try chicken salad out of that.  Dark meat is easier to eat for us than white.  Don't ask me why but that just seems to be how it goes.  I don't think it's the amount you ate I do believe it's what you ate.  But then again our little tummy's are so picky that one day we can eat something and then the next day have the same thing and our tummy doesn't like it.  It takes ALOT of learning when it comes to what we can and can't give our tummy's---I'M STILL LEARNING AT ALMOST A YEAR OUT!!!

Hope you're feelin better soon!!!

Peanut butter kinda made me feel that way the first time I tried it. I figured I was just trying it to early so I didn't try it again until tonight. It made me feel strange again. I think I better not try it again for a while. I have been lucky that most stuff agrees with me, maybe to much. I tried a slice of ham and I tried ground turkey as soon as I was allowed , they were both fine. Its kinda trial and error. I hope you find something that agrees with you. I can eat chicken but if it is not fresh the white meat is to dry and doesn't go down well. Dark meat has more fat and is easier on the pouch. If it helps any in about an hour you should feel better. If you have papaya emzymes eat three or four. They will help it digest faster.

I'm 6 months out and until about a month ago I could not eat chicken.  Some said try the dark meat but the thought makes me gag.  Eggs and chicken tasted a like and both were gaggy.  I still don't like eggs.  Ham tastes very good, fish and ground beef are foods I really like.  I can finally eat pork roast.

It's really strange what this surgery does to you tastes but I'm so happy with it, I don't care about the food.  To me no food could taste as good as the feelings I have or the good health I have now.
