whew.. what a day...
Oh my Oh my what a day it has been....Been at wrestling tourny today..and I mean all day!!!
We got up at 5am and left the house at 645am...and got home at 730pm!!!! whewwwww..what a Longgg day.
Well my DS is now 24 and 3.....He took 2nd place for his weight class, which is 285 (heavyweight)...but heres the catcher...he only weighs..199...lol. But you would never know it....He just picks them "Big Boys" up and whirls them right on down on the mat....slap.....litterly...lol. He always tells me that he trys to be careful as to not wanting to hurt them...but then there are some of them that just are way too strong for him.
The guy he wrestled and lost to was 279...lol but one of the sweetest guys that I have seen...after the match was over...he huged DS and said keep it up your doing really great this season...best of luck to ya...How was that for sportsmanship!!!
But I have to say when DS won the right to go on to the championship round...He looked up into the stands for his Dad and I and had one of the BIGGIST smiles on his face.....lol that my friends was when my world all came together.... and made complete since, for everything I do and everything I have gone through with him....how could anyone just not melt...!!!
Anyway...guess you all can tell that I have one special young man...of course Im just a little partial....ya think??? lol
We just found out that District Finals will be in Branson...so gota call tomorrow to book a hotel...they will be held on the 13-14 Feb. Then if....NO when he places in the top 4, we will be going onto Columbia for....STATE!!!!....He sure does deserve this...after almost dieing last year with staff (MIRSA)...within 24 hours I might add!! He season ended 3wks after it started....
Well just wanted to toot my horn about my son....gotta go and post about how I ate today....lol yea it was a hard day...lol
