I just love how God is so eager and willing to teach us new things and show us repeatedly old things we seem to forget that we need in our lives.  God loves it when we strive to walk in His path, the path He has for us and not the path we think we should go down.  I am finding the more I read and study His word the more He reveals to me things out of the clear blue, sometimes not even having anything to do with what I’ve read that day.  It’s simply amazing how when we take our focus off our problems and cir****tances we are facing and focus on our Lord, He is always there ready, willing and able to speak to us clearly what He has for us that day.

I get so blessed when I read what each of you has to share after reading the word of God.  It’s just awesome how we can all read the same passages and yet find different tid bits that God has shown each of us, isn’t our God so good?  I pray each of you is getting just as many blessings out of reading the word as I am.

Bec thank you for sharing yesterday, that really made me reflect on my own self and if I am striving all I can do for Him and what is He going to tell me when I get face to face with Him.  Oh my how I don’t want to be a disappointment to Him.  I AM going to strive to better from this day forward,  I can think of so many area’s of my life I need to improve on, wow, thank you so much,  that really does make me want to strive to be better and better each day.

Peggy it really is amazing how God does have such a sense of humor when He speaks to us through His word.  Its funny how at times we each get different things out of the same passage and yet it all ties into one.  I just love it how each of us share what God has spoken to us for the day, we are all on different levels in our lives but yet God is right there with each of us speaking to us where we are at, God IS so good!! Thank you!!

Cassie when read your post I look back on some of the trials I have been threw and see where God has had to “break me" in order for me to trust Him, just as the sheppard sometimes has to break the sheep’s leg in order for it to trust his master, God sometimes has to break us in order for us to trust Him.  He has done that to me more then once and now I really see I need to trust Him even more, thank you for sharing that.   I pray you find the right church home for you and your family, that’s quite the mission but will be very rewarding in the end.

Kerri that is such a blessing for you to invite Cassie out to your church and I know it’ll be a blessing to you both to meet each other, it truly is rewarding to put a face to the one typing, I know I have been blessed many times over by meeting different ones that we talk to on here, what blessings each one is.  Thank you for sharing and caring enough to post on here, you’ll truly be blessed by God.

Wow Sugar I hadn’t noticed what Abraham said about “stay with the ass and I and Isaac will go up and worship and then we will come back to you." I knew he had all the faith that Issac would be spared but I never noticed his words, he really did have strong faith.  To have the faith Abraham had,  I know that’s the faith God wants us all to have, it sure hasn’t been easy in the past to have that type of faith but with reading and studying His word like I have been it sure has increased my faith tremendously.  Thank you so much for pointing that out.

Daily Devotional for Dieters

II Corinthians 2:14
"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ…"

God promises to always lead us into victory! That means, no matter what you are facing, no matter what’s going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be planning for a comeback! In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making your list of who you’re going to invite to your victory celebration. You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life.

Put some action behind your faith. That means if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get out. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your coming-out-of-debt party. When things don’t look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for increase. You can plan for restoration. You can plan for a comeback that will make you stronger and better than you ever were before!

Today's thought:  Walk in the Victory God has lead us into.

I Corinthians 15:57 - But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
