WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

We spent the night last night in Sheridan Ark. , found a nice motel room was more than ready to get inside. It was getting more cold than it had been all day....

Got up this morning and had coffee and I had protein coffee and got all dressed and took off by 7am...me im all bundled up again like I am going to the north pole to join the penquins. That is about how I walked or rather waddled. It was cloudy and cold so bad that even Joe was cold. And then within a split second it was sunny and 70 degrees. We stopped at a station and I shed a bunch of clothes. Sure felt good to be normal again.

 

Oh we have spent only 15.00 so far on gas pretty good huh? And about that much on food. Lol

 

Tonight we are in Colfax, La...with our friend. Barney and Suzie... they took us out to eat tonight at a great seafood bufett. i had alligator and peel em and eat em shrimp yummy.

I am reading the bible along with you all just don’t have much time to get on and post.

Hey Y'all,

What a nice day it was here, it was about 65 or so all day, we even had a couple windows open it felt so nice.  Spent alot of the day trying to get our office area organized,  gonna try and make room for Susan's sewing machine and getting things put away and stuff.  We are starting to buy totes to put stuff in that we have packed away in boxes,  it sure looks alot better then old boxes sitting in the corner.  Next week we'll buy more totes and get the rest organized.  Home Depo has good size totes for $4 a piece, thats pretty cheap.

Yeah Jan Im feeling better, I know not to drink orange juice by itself again,  I think too I gulped it down to fast instead of sip, still have that problem every so often of drinking to fast.   That's just awesome you've only spent $15 in gas so far,  can't do that very often can ya?  Prolly wont spend much at all the whole trip on gas, thats just great.  You two being down in Sheridan, AR you were right near where I grew up at.  I went to high school in Norphlet, AR which is right outside of El Dorado.  Norphlet is where one of my brothers lives.  You prolly saw signs for Camden, thats where my step dad lives.  Hopefully this summer Susan and I are gonna drive down there for a few days,  I havnt been back to my old stomping grounds in 15 years or better.  Glad it warmed up for ya, bet that was a nice feeling to finally get out of the cold.  Its spose to get really cold here the next couple days.  I been checking on the green house a couple times a day.  I go over in the morning and turn the heat off,  its so toasty in there in the afternoon with that warm sun shining on it.  When it gets real cold do you turn the 3rd heater on in there?  So far its been good but next week one day we are only spose to have a high of like 17, bbbbbrrrrrr.  You two have fun and stay safe, will talk to ya soon.

Hey sis, It was warm here today too! I think they said the high of 63 but it is supposed to really drop tomorrow and get really nasty.

The JOY lunch/game day was a success and we had a great time together. Next month is our annual Valentine Banquet but  we are postponing it for 1 week past because Jamie (our children's minister) is getting married on Valentine Day and Im doing her wedding. I will do the flowers and all the decorating. She came over today and showed me her dress. It is gorgeous! Snow white with apple red accents and some beautiful beading. Im so excited for her. She is 32 and has never been married before. She is soooo excited too! lol

Anyway, do you remember when Kim Mcneely's husband did the routine at chur*****lever at Valentine day about Jomeo and Ruliet? Talking like the guy on Hee Haw that always talked backwards? Anyway Im asking him if he will come and entertain us with that...Havent got an answer yet.

Well, hope you have a great trip and alot of fun. Wish I could get out of dodge before this next storm hits. I hate the idea of more bone chilling cold. Would love to be in southern Florida right now. Ive actually been looking at some trips on the vacation sight...looks inviting.

Hope everyone else on the board is good. Im praying for the needs that have been posted and am trying to lift you each time God brings your names to mind. Pooh, Janet, Bec, Susie and Craig, Jan and Joe, Susan and so many others...love you all.

Let me suggest if you havent yet done so, try to get involved in the Bible reading and study. It might just be what GOD will use to forever change your life and the lives of the ones you love! We are only 9 days into it..and it only takes a few minutes a day. Hope you all will consider it!

Hello to all i could not sleep so i thought i would write the weather sure was pretty here yesterday warm air and sunshine.the weather sure is going to change.like andy said only 17 one day but down into the single number's at night burrrrrr.jan glad to hear you and joe are doing good.that is really good on gas for the trike.i know it is much easier for you to get on the trike without all the extra clothing on.wouldn't it be nice if we could shed pound's as fast as you took off the extra layer's of clothing when it got warm.lol.
rebel is doing good still greet's us when ever we go over there.when we go to get the mail he think's we are going for a walk.he really get's all excited.he is a big ham.and my twoo are little ham's.lol.we had some heavy rain's here a little bit ago with some thunder and first thing mecko was head for under our bed.she came out from under the bed and kept on walking around so i put her in bed with andy now she is under the cover's and like's that a lot better.like i said she is a daddy's girl but will go to anyone who will love on her.

peggy you will never be done with house work like jan said your house can't be that dirty i know you have a big house but there will be something to do in it all the time.i wish i could have seen it all pretty for christmas.is buddy behaving?hope to see you again soon.

angie andy and i are soo glad to hear about your report from the doctor about him taking you off some of your medicine for your blood sugar.when andy was going for the surgery he was on sugar pill's and some other pill's and he was in the hospital the year before for cong heart failure now he take's one blood pressure pill a day and no longer has any blood sugar problem's.

sugar sound's like you are having fun planning that wedding sure sound's pretty.that is the day andy and i were supposed to get married on in 1987.but we got married in sept 1986 instead.

janet hope you are feeling better.we dont want you in soo much pain you are too sweet of a lady to be that way.we are praying for you.

has anyone heard from deb or barb.i was wondering how they are doing and how baby is.

Good Morning Everyone
 Well was up at 2:30 and now up again. I believe that the Lord is trying very hard to talk to me and get me to listen to him. I had started back to church in jan 07 right after my brothers death. I knew i had to have God in my life in order to make it through what had happened. Without him even though as much as my husband and my boys,and Nikki loved me and tried to help me through it .I was just not getting nowhere. So i went to church rededicated my life to God and was rebabtised. Went faithfully for over a year. Then things in life started getting rough all over again. And instead of leaning on the Lord i chose to lean away.I thought i had been trying so hard to follow his word do the right things and the harder i tried the worse things got. I know that satan was in my head and once again instead of believing in word of God i took the easy way out and let satan win once again.
Well Thank goodness we serve a wonderful loveing,careing and forgiving God. Because i know i can have a do over and he will accept me back in his arms and love me .
I totally refuse to let satan win in my life this year.It is a New Year.a new life, a new beginning. I am not perfect and the Lord has his handsfull with me ,but i know together him and i will make it through each day hand in hand.
Gail is up and about.He is at mens Ministries at Church this morning. He used to go everytime but hasn't been for awhile,So am Happy he went.And i am sure he will blessed by going.
It is flurrying out there. How silly is that? It was 58 yesterday and snowing today LOL. Gonna get super cold again. Have i mentioned i can not wait for spring? LOL.
Nikki is watching that annoying fairy odd parents LOL.
And i'm setting here taking these annoying vitamines and other meds drinking a nasty cinnamon protein shake LOL. I do ok with the nectars but don't got none so gotta do the bsn shakes that mix with milk . But a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do LOL.
My tummy feels better this morning Thank you Jesus.
But still look like a walrus LOL.All good things come to those who wait though right?

I am so glad to see that you have a brand new outlook on life today you sound so much better and you are so right The Lord is there with his Arms wide open and has been the whole time Just waiting for Deb to come back there is none of us perfect we make it to hard on ourselves .  Everyday is  new day and we just got to try to do the very best we can its not by works that get us to heaven its by Faith We must believe .  Sounds like you are back on the right track girl we have all been there just got to pick up and start over again.

Well I am still waiting on the snow. I keep hoping for the big fluffy flakes. Snow doen't cause the problems ice does so I do not mind it.I love to watch it fall. If it has to be cold at least let it snow a little so it will look pretty.

I made it to wonderland but just barely. I will wait three days to see if it stays gone. I seem to totter back and forth for a few days before its gone for good. I really thought I would be happier when I made it here . I guess I am just preocuppied with everything going on here. I am happy .

Good morning Missouri.....and holy moley is it COLD!!!  Yesterday was 61 and we were getting ready to go out for dinner w/friends and I told hubby to grab coats.  When we got to their house, 10 minutes away, only 10 mind you, the temp had dropped and the wind was blowing.  30 minutes later we left their house for the restaurant and it had dropped even more.  Crazy Missouri weather!  I wish I was in LA w/Jan & Joe, or the Bahamas or Bermuda or somewhere south!  Yikes!

The house is clean enough, Christmas is done and only have a few projects left to do.  We are thinking about getting out for a while and going to Bass Pro Shops and Borders.  I would also like to go to Bath & Body works, we'll see.  Then it should be home to get the projects done.  I still have a gift to finish, then we need to get the storms up on the bow window, bring up the fainting couch and on & on.  But it feels so good to have the housework done that I really don't care if I get anything else accomplished.  Not really, but you understand.

Has anybody heard from Deb D or Bev (Cotonmom)?  Or Barb?  Sheila?  Bueller?  Bueller?  (Ok, dumb joke)!  But I do worry about those we don't hear from.  Even those I can't remember until they come on and remind me!  Let us know you are all ok....please?
