I'm almost a NON diabetic

I went to my PCP today and he lowered my diabetis meds to ONE a day--can you believe it??? I went from 260 units of insulin a day and 7 diabetic pills to ONE pill and NO insulin.  Man I am just in shock.  I asked him if I'll ever be declared NON diabetic  and he said that I'll be in remission and that more than likely since I've already had diabetis that when I get older I'll have it again.  But I'll worry about that when I get there.  Right now I'm just so happy that I'm ALMOST off ALL diabetic meds!!!!

 Congratulations! I've already been able to reduce mine a lot and I don't mind if I never get off the meds completely - just having my sugar under great control and feeling so much better is good enough for me.  Still - I see people like you who look like you're going to get med-free and I feel very excited!

Its a wonderful feeling isnt it.
I also was a diabetic ,i geuss i still am its just my diet keeps it under control.
No insulin shots is wonderful i take 1 metformin and its for pcos..
I dont know if you feel the way i do,but i want to lose more weight but im happy now no diabetes i can breath and walk and i have a life.so if i didnt lose another pound id still be happy.
