*Whats Happening Wednesday* (4 Jan ???)

Hi Peeps-
Well, Im not sure what happened with Auntie Jan-suppose her and Joe got on the trike and left us without saying goodbye? LOL.... I sure hope they arent headed towards Texas-I saw on the news where their weather isnt good right now!  Im grounding the two of them for worrying me-us!

I did call Debs room last night and there was no answer. I will try again here in a few minutes and check on her.  I sure hope and pray that they get her all fixed up today!

Well, I am going to get this posted so we have a thread today to stay together and I will get in and post like I normally do-LOL... I just got done reading my scripture and doing "my time" this morning-so I will get moving now.

Well, I do believe Jon is feeling a little better! YAY!!!! We will be able to get back on the pre-Christmas schedule, and our school work. I am so pleased! He is sitting there eating his breakfast and today is the first day he has asked for food within 1/2 hr of getting up! (in over a week) I hope and pray the worst is over. I hate it so much when he is puney!

I still have errands to run, but not sure if I will take him out today-want to make sure he is back to his old self before I venture out, so will see.  I got a call from Megan last night-her hubby has been sick and now he is better and she has the bug-poor gal!  She even got the flu shot- which I guess just goes to show you that they dont always cover all the strains of the flu bug like some claim!  In fact, I dont think they cover 1/2, but Im really not sure.......I have only had one once, and its when I was pregnant with Jon....so almost 7 yrs ago.

I am having some issues right now, trying to get myself all lined out and disciplined-man, is that ever harder to do than it is to say!  There is so much I let lax, because I am just in too much pain to care-but I know what I have to do and I have to say, that Andys posts are really helping me to accomplish what I knew I needed to anyway! It really ha**** me square between my eyes. I am trying to be faithful, as I know I should be-and I am trying to do what I know I have to do-and trying to keep the will to fight for the life I want so badly.  What I wouldnt give to just live in managable pain every day! Who knows-all I know is that I am going to give this my best shot and go from there.

One thing that is very difficult for me, is to ask for help. Very hard. I am learning HOW to ask others for help. I dont like it, but I have to learn where and when I need to ask for help-and that once in awhile it is okay to tell someone you need them. I dont ask for things like stacking wood or whatever-I hate it when people say they will help and they dont-BUT.....I have learned that it is okay to ask for the moral support. I guess I never even thought about the fact that I will be there for anyone for anything they need-so why cant I let someone be there for me? I dont know. I never want to be a burden on anyone.....thats for sure!

Well-heres a funny for you today: Those who dont know this-I live in the middle of nowhere-on 40 rolling acres of woods and such, and its just mostly pure bliss out here-love the serenity of being out in the middle of nowhere really-well, along with that, comes dumped off animals-and things like that. Probably our biggest issue out here, is that we ALWAYS have animals up here-and we have so many now, we cant have anymore...LOL...Well, we have this neighbor-whose dogs (3) he doesnt keep on his own property. They have killed all our wild turkeys we had out here, 6 of them(not so wild since they would come out to our porch to be fed and such-we have pictures of this) they get into our trash and they destroy our property. We have ALL talked to the owner of these 3 dogs many times, to no avail. One of our neighbors shot one of the dogs when he caught it attacking his little house dog..... Our big 2 dogs STAY penned up-unless they happen to get out every now and again-ok.....so this morning... (just setting up the scenerio for you all) Well, this morning, we let my little house dog out... She goes and does her thing and then when she is done-she knocks for us to let her back in (no, im not joking-megan was over and actually thought someone was knocking at the door-LOL)  ok-well, she wasnt coming back and Mike went out there and she was over by the morton building and away from the house.....well, she didnt get her treat this morning, like she normally does when she goes and comes back in-in fact, she was in trouble from daddy.... Well, he goes to get his coffee cup out of the work car-and he is yelling, comes in and gets our high powered BB gun and was upset that the yellow dog is on our porch going through the deer corn and running amok-he gets the rifle out (BB rifle) and goes outside-well, Darrel was needing to get down to the bus stop so he wouldnt miss the bus but he didnt want to go out while dad was out there trying to get the dog off our property-I told him GO and just tell Dad I told you-so you dont miss the bus or he will have to take you-when he goes outside-he is yelling-Dad, dont shoot-its Buffy-which is grandmas retriever!!! OH MAN!!! That would NOT have been good! He doesnt see Buffy like we do-I see her almost daily when she gets away from Grandma-and I am constantly putting the leash on her (I keep it on the porch now-just for her) and taking her back to Grandma. She is so powerful, that she gets away from Grams.... In fact, grams has taught the dog really well-like every morning, Buffy gets the newspaper for her and stuff like that-but man does she like to run......so one of the things they gave her for Christmas-was obediance training classes for the dog.....Shew.....we almost had a bad situation on our hands (wiping the sweat off my forehead!)  It wouldnt have killed her or anything like that, but the thought of even stinging her-I am just thankful Darrel was out there in time.....

Im going to start taking down all the Christmas decorations today and getting some order back into the house. This weekend Darrel will help get the rest of the stuff moved to its storing places and we will get the tree boxed up and we will be good to go.....YAY! Some order in the house.  I need to get it all organized so I can get little Mackenzies area in our bedroom all situated and stuff like that! I cant wait!  I saw a bunch of totes on craigs list for $4 a pc, the huge ones and when I went to get the number, I couldnt find them! Darn it-I should have written it down when I had it pulled up, but something came up and I had to get off the computer. I thought Id get right back in there and find it again, but it didnt happen!

Well, peeps-I hope and pray your all doing well today and you all have a good Wednesday. Im not sure what happened to Jan, but I thought I would get the post started so we can have a place to go......Im sure she will let us know soon.

**Sandy-I feel bad that yesterday when I was calling out our missing in actions-I missed you! I remembered after I closed out! Im sorry!!! I really hope that the change in meds will take care of your problem. Please keep us posted!!!

Well I have learned from two of our posters on here that you can freeze milk >>>>I really didn’t know that? It doesn’t get clabbered when it thaws out? Wow!!!!!i really didn’t know this....see what things we can learn on here thanks girls I really do appreciate that , I am going to try it ....i have a brand new carton of my lactaid that I didn’t drink....that stuff cost too much , more than reg milk I think ....

 

Got all the clothes together and packed up.....taking some shorts and tshirts in case it is that warm in Az...oh I hope it is...my knees and bones have really hurt today.

I had the best dream last night, I don’t know I must have won the lottery or something..we bought this old beautiful Victorian house that is for sale in Eukera Springs. It really is for sale , priced at 489,500.00  and Sugar , Michele and I were having the best time buying all period item things for the house. Beautiful.  Stuff. The basement all waa sit up with comfortable things for us to live there. ...the rest of the house was a bed and Breakfast. Sure was pretty lol. Like I said I must have won the lottery ....big time.

 

I have got to go buy the convertor box for the t.v in the trailer...i have the coupon to  get 40.00 off the price of it but have to go buy the box yet lol . I think someone said that they are only 10.00 with the coupon at wal mart ....good ole wal mart.  Some of the other places are charging as much as 40 dollars also with the coupon. They shouldn’t  allow that to happen should they"?

 

 

Well hopefully we will get to get out of here. Today. We sure hope so. Havent heard anything from our friend in La. Don’t know if we are going down there or not...dont want to go if she had to run off somewhere. We couldn’t tell her exactl;y what day we would be there. So we don’t know if they were going t be home or not but we will see.

 

Are you all watching the new Biggest Loser...it is sort of scary. It is where we all were before surgery. Oh my that poor older guy....hadnt done anything and passed out. But we ought to all be able to understand these people these are sick people. That poor boy that is 19 and weight that amount.  I hope they don’t eliminate any of them really these people really need it. I wish I could go there and have them to push me like that.

 

Well I have a lot to do yet....want to dust all of the living room tonight. Yeah I know by the time I come home there will be dust big time lol but wont be quite as bad maybe if I clean it real good before we leave. I always do this. Hate coming home to a dirty hours .

 

 

 

SUSIE:::::: so sorry to hear about your cousin.  That is a shame that his record got broken .....and sad that he though the had to make a try to get it back....but like you said he did die trying to get it back ....

 

I know that is probably why I don’t lose any faster but if I cut out my two protein shakes then I don’t get much of anything...i just cant eat much food. I think they should have camps after about 6 months that you had to go to. Sure would be good for them to show us how to get the food in and protein in. and not do it with shakes. I have tried and tried , I have sit down and made out food plans and they look so good on paper then I try to eat it and I can get about half of it down. And im so full that if I eat one more bite well we know what happens then....oh well I guess I will just keep plugging along.

 

 

SUSAN::::Joe and I want to thank you and Andy for taking care of Rebel and my flowers and the mail etc etc lol you all have our phone number so if you need us . meant to tell Andy that you don’t have to keep the green house right now , hot. We usually try keeping it around 50 so at night time both  heaters and the lights on , but if it gets to 50 outside in the day time you can turn all heaters off especially if it is sunny ok ..

 

I have some seeds coming from Parks seed company , you can sit them in the house if you want to...along with the mail and also have vits. Coming in too. ...

 

You don’t have to water the plants but about once a week and the hydrant in the green house has a turn off valve at the bottom of the post

As well as the other ... the elephant ears that are laying on the shelves, please try not to get them wet ok?

Like we said that if your car is acting up and you need to go to Columbia , go ahead and use the truck your welcome to it.   will let you know when we are going to come on home....who knows we may stay in AZ for the winter lol .

We know of course that Andy is always your angel but I will be really proud to be one of your angels too. Oh yeah have you been working out on the treadmill ?

Here is praying that you get the state job if that is what you want...state employment is a pretty good thing. I worked for the state in Ark. For about 6 years. Really good job..lot of time off. Lot of comp time. will be praying for you

 

 

PEGGY::::::lol yeah the wheelbarrow would sure let them know that you were back there. But do you have enough balance to keep that thing up straight. Lol maybe you ought to use a wagon or something that has 4 wheels instead of one. Wonder if I found a 3 day cruise that wouldn’t be but about 200 per person , how many would go ? if we booked it  now for like November or January of next year would everyone be able to book and pay for that? I think that would be so much fun.... we will have to think about this....

You need to have him checked out. My nieces little girl was always sick and I kept telling her that the cigs were not helping her , she didn’t believe me until I finally convinced her to at least take it outside and the babies allergies stopped. ...

Well when are you moving to az/ lol maybe that way Joe and I can pay you for a small room to stay in in the winter. Maybe Jon would be healthier too ...

 

Oh my why would anyone make fun of someone if they don’t understand a passage in the bible. Like you said it means different things to different people anyway. It may have a basic meaning but to different people you get different things out of it.

And you can read the same passage at different times in your life and get something else out of it, than you did the first time you ready it. Love you sweetie and don’t know how any one would want to make you feel badly.

RENEE::::::really proud of you and the B12 shot, that takes a lot fo courage doesn’t it?It will be ok really , you can keep it right for yourself. I give myself  an injection two times a month once a month wasn’t doing it.

as you can see i did put the post on NOW lol . i was so sleepy last night i just saved it into word and forgot or what ever and didnt put it on here ....no harm no fowl....thanks Janet for getting it started any way.....that was great and good to know i can count on you guys to keep the ball rolling,. i will try and remember to put it up  lol ....it is beautiful and sunny here this morning and is already 42 degrees....we will be heading out here to Jonesboro Ark by noon any way.....love you all and hope we have lots of neat stuff to report in the next 3 or 4 weeks I am really going to miss you all at the support meeting....I ask Glenna to do it for me but havent heard back from her one way or the other so i told Andy to be prepared to do it ....and Janet  and Sugar are both back ups too lol   see guys lots of people that can do my job.  may turn it over to others like takeing turns each month. will talk to you all about that  at the FEBURARY meeting , so all who go to the Circle of Friends meetings in Springfield, try your best to be at the FEBURARY meeting , so you will have a say in voting for some things. ok ?

Hello Everyone,
 Not much going on around here really today. Larry came over and we had a great visit. I think the plan is for him to come over Friday or Saturday to hang out and watch movies.
 I'm making dinner right night, and Kala is on her way out. She's bring out her very first ever tator salad and wants me to try it. I'm sure it's good though. She has helped Tiff and I make it before so really it shouldn't have been that hard for her.

 Janet I'm so sorry I left you so fast earlier, but Larry called and said he was just about here and I needed a shower something bad before he got here. He gave me all the answers to your email so I will try getting that back to you tonight.
 I'm glad Jon is eating and starting to feel better. I hate when the little ones are sick and you've tried everything and it seems nothing works.
 I'm looking so forward to Tuesday......I get to spend the day with both of my bestest friend's YAY for me.
 Have you heard anything from Deb yet today? Please, let her know she's in my thoughts and prayers. I'd call her myself but I don't have long distance on my phone. I just feel terrible about it.
 I thought it was funny you knew which jeans I had tried on. LOL I did have to suck it in a little to get them buttoned but after that it was smooth sailing.

 Yes Larry is a great guy, we have a blast together and I can talk as freely and openly with him about anything just like I do with Janet. As for someone else taking him away, I don't see that happening anytime soon. LOL (At least I hope not anyway.)

 I forgot to tell you guy's I have now lost 69lbs, and am now wearing a size 18. I'm feeling and moving so much better. Thank you Lord for my rny.
