WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Morning all...

Managed to get outside yesterday and get most of the outside decs down and put away.  Still have the heavy trees on the porch and the heavy wreath between the front windows but I have to have help with those.  And even got a few things down here in the house.  It's a start....

Today is dreary but it is supposed to be fairly warm.  Tomorrow is yuck!  So I think I have talked hubby into getting out and possibly hitting a few antique shops...yay.  I mostly window shop since they all tend to love their stuff.  But occasionally I will find stuff for next year's Christmas & birthdays.  He needs more work jeans and jersey gloves.  So we get to spend money....fun, fun.

Just a note, I am planning to start the Eatin' Good thread on Monday so enjoy the weekend!  I've had quite a few mention that they've missed it so I definitely need to get it back on here.  Besides it helps me stay on track and I am so far off track right now....depression and boredom are my downfall.  Thank God the study Andy is posting is dealing with discipline...I sure need it.  At least that is what I am gaining from it.  I find it fascinating that God meets each one of us where we need to be met....in my case, discipline.  These same scriptures may speak to others in a different way....that's how God works.  Awesome.

Ok, I need to get around if I want to get out of here today.  Hubby is pretty bad about sitting and it's up to me to get us going.

Love you all and have a great day...
Peggy
Life isn't about about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Hello Everyone,
I hope everyone had a happy safe new years eve, and got to spend time with their loved ones. We had a busy one that's for sure. Larry, Kayela, Kala, and myself went to Springfield to see what steve and barrys had left and out to dinner. Larry and I had went to s&b in Joplin the week before and there was a certain shirt he was looking for, he didn't find it but I found me another one. LOL We had a really good day together. Then we came back to my house and had a little party. I had Larry, the kids, Les, and 3 other friends over and did we ever have a good time. If we didn't get it on video we got a picture. When we watched the video the next day OMG it was so funny. I don't think anybody really realizes just how funny Tiff and Larry can be but I have proof now. LOL
I have spent the past couple days getting things back in order, we were going to have another party tonight because of a couple friends having to work on New Years but they have to work again tonight, so now Larry and I will just have a night in watching movies. I like this plan much better, I've had enough party for right now, and am looking forward to some quiet time with Larry.
I know I shouldn't post about this just in case they read it, but at this point and time I really don't care. I'm so upset with Lee and Kala. I just can't believe they are planning to move when she will be like 7 1/2 months along. To me this is so stupid. I know Lee misses his kid's, but that's no reason to wait until Kala is that far along, and then to take her out there away from her family and friends when this is when she will need people she knows around her the most. I know woman do this all the time, but why if they don't really have to. I understand wanting to be there for your child's birthday, but whats wrong with going out for a visit and then moving at a safer time. Yes, I'm being selfish in this matter, but I'm also just as worried about Kala and the baby.
Janet, Megan, and Aaron have blessed me big time this week by asking me to share in the ultra sound and birth of their lil angel. I had planned to head that way at that time to help out with Jon and Darrel so Janet wouldn't have to worry about them, but then they asked me to be there and I was like HELL YEAH. I'm so excited. They will never know how much this means to me, I love them all so very much.

Jan poor Joe LOL Don't you ever feed him. LOL I'm glad you guys had a good time with Sugar, Rick, Andy and Susan. Kala and Lee went to the landing yesterday also. They decided to go to Branson for their little honeymoon trip since they didn't get one when they got married. I'm really not for sure what to pray for with those two, either they don't have the money to move or they change their minds for now. I think they are both a little upset with me about going with Janet to the ultra sound and then for being there when Kenzie arrives but I really don't care I wouldn't miss out on my nieces arrival for nothing. And besides what do they really expect from me, they are robbing me of so much. (I really need to hush about this it gets me so mad.)

Janet Thank you guys so much for everything you do for me. You guys are such a HUGE BLESSING to me.
I've been hoping we could all get together real soon. I know Larry is looking forward to visiting with Mike and talking cars, and I like you are in need of some sister time. We have some stuff to giggle over. wink wink LOL
I hope Mr Jon is feeling better, I sure hate when hes sick. Poor lil guy.

Susan I'm so glad everything went good for you, it wont be long before your on the bench with us. I'm so excited for you. And you are so blessed to have Andy helping you to get ready for it. Is he going to be your angel?

I hope EVERYONE has a wonderful blessed day and that the new year brings you many happy times and even more blessing's.
Love and Hugs
Renee

Hello Auntie Jan and OH Peeps-
I only have a minute but I wanted to get in and check on everyone and to see whats been going on.
I would like everyone to say a prayer for Deb (pooh). Darn it! I wished that the little town hospitals would be as caring and knowledgable as the big time ones......I just hope and pray she is okay.

Steph called me in the afternoon and asked if I wanted to go to the movies. Explained to her that Jon-o has been sick and so it was going to depend on if Mike had plans or not, because someone would have to be home with Jon and Darrel. I didnt want to leave Jon sick with Darrel.

So-Mike didnt have any plans and he stayed home with the boys-I went and picked up Steph abt 6 pm, then went to the vets office to pick up Mollys flea pill, went and picked up our tickets and then went to Steve and Barrys. Back to the movies....we saw Marley and Me. I wasnt impressed. It was okay, but I would never spend $20 to see it again....and the ending-NOT what we expected.... cant say, dont want to spoil it for anyone who hasnt seen it yet, but I told Steph she isnt allowed to pick anymore! Wasnt a dry eye in the house-even grown, big burly guys there with their kids. Crying like little babies....LOL......

The storm coming in is killing me for sure! ARGH.... Steph and I went to walmart when the movie was over. Had to get the horses, I mean my outdoor dogs some slop, I mean food......and I am thinking that with the price of dog food now and how much they eat-that I need to start renting them out for different activities and make some of my money back.  They could pull plows, kids on sleds, scare off burglars, protect property, or stud.......  something to bring in some money! Gee gads they eat a lot!  I think the big dog, dozer, I think he is a candidate for a doggie gastric bypass and Im not kidding! They do not even make a collar big enough for that hoss. We have to use a horse collar/brindle....... anyway.... Im glad he likes me! I think he could take me down whenever he wanted to!

Today not doing much of anything. The storm rolling in, is reaking havok on me and Im feeling it deep, deep in my bones and its one of those pains that nothing helps-so why try?

I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday! Im just going to enjoy my 3 guys today and hang out. May do some laundry if I start to feel better.

Am praying for all needs on the board.  As always, your all in my thoughts and prayers, Janet
