WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY

Well 100.00 and im feeling better again. Lol ....sure wish the pain patches weren’t so much....the arthritis gel isn’t that bad is 24.00 for a big tube of it. But the patches are almost 70 dollars for a months supply...but im using the patches and then use the gel for breakthrough pain , wonder if I should use it the other way...but I don’t think the pain patches would work like that ....they last for 3 days each so they wouldn’t work fast for breakthrough pain...oh well. Will put the patch on in the morning....

 

Was going over to Micheles today and she said she didn’t think I ought to that I might get what she has but I think she has gotten her asthma going nuts with probably got out in the cold and that stirs it up plus the smoking, and the more she is out in cold the more it gets the asthma going...i need to get her to remember to wear a nice scarf around her mouth and nose when she is outside. Oh well mothers be quite ......lol

 

Went by and saw my sweet babies for a while.....when I knocked on the door. I heard my granddaughter say oh boy I wonder who that is and then I heard my little girl saying mimi mimi   mimi  my mimi ....when we opened the door she was standing there clapping her little hands and just smiling all over her face...and she run and wrapped herself around my knees. Lol so good to be loved isn’t it? Lol

My pcp says that it just sounds like the horrible side effects of arthritis for someone that has it as bad as I do she don’t know why I don’t have more episodes of it...she said do you really realize how much arthritis you really have ? lol well I think so its my body and I think it is pretty much everywhere.  She said yes it is ..and a lot of people would be in wheel chairs or sitting all the time or being in the bed....and I admit sometimes that sounds good. But that isn’t in my ability to just lay in bed. Not since ive lost a lot of the weight ...i would like to lose more but oh well. My pcp said that if I could lose another 20 pounds it might help my arthritis but you never know it might not either. She did tell me how proud of me she was for getting the surgery and losing the weight that I have.

 

I am keeping your Dad in my prayers..please let us know all about him and how he is doing ok...will keep you in prayers for the time you will have to spend there too...

Oh yeah I would like to see the pictures you took at the party...

BEC:::::I know you are really enjoying the girls ...you can hear you beaming thru your print... im like everyone sure wish you could video Paul being taught how to make those cookies....but you know im sort of that sort of cook too....dont really see any need for all those bowls of stuff lol mix it up and pour it in a pan.

Well did Crystal get you organized ...isnt it nice to be able to move down in sizes? I know you think you are going slow but you know I thought that for about 5 months and all of a sudden I could see some results.

   

VESTA:::::;your little room sound like a great place to start plants....but yes im sure you will have to use grow lights. They have all sorts of them you can just put up light shields and grow bulbs or floresant lights and you can even get grow floresant light bulbs  you can always tell the people who have the heart of a gardner....wanting to plant in the winter and finding the place and spot to do it in....You should see my green house it is full of blooming geranimins and several different plants. Also I have about 6 tomato plants some with blooms on them lol will have tomatoes soon.

I have made up and order to Starks for some fruit trees to plant.

JANET:::::: your holiday sounds so so good ...you are one lucky happy girl....i don’t think I can hit on each thing but it just sound so wonderful like something written for a childrens book....lool your telling about Mike dressing in S.C. suit....makes me laugh and he may have trouble of ever really beliving what he saw wasn’t real....Michele when she was about 5 it was Christmas and our friend came over that drove a motorcycle...his outfit when he rode in the cold was a insulated pair of Red coveralls. And big black biker boots worn over the leggings of the pants. Plus he had lots of long white beard and hair lol she got a glimpse of him and thought it was Santa Clause and she says she still has a problem saying there isn’t a santa Clause lol She says it was such a striking thing for her to see and to know that it WAS Santa, not someone made up like him. And this from a grown woman lol

Just know you made some wonderful experiences during this time of the year and looks like maybe all your children know that you love them and I would say they love you too.

You had a wonderful time with them and it makes me happy to see that you and Mike were repaid ...

Will be praying for poor Megan. Bless her heart at the party she looked like she was about to pop..are you sure that she is only carrying one? No chance that there is two in there? Oh my gosh I can see you if it were. Lol

Will be praying for your mom too. Hopefully  she will perk up when the baby comes. I know it is hard for you to understand , but im sure that the life she has lived has been so so bad and tramatic that the illness that she has is just sort of the last straw. I know that doesn’t help anything but will maybe help with understanding her , and Im sure that you know all of that.

Thanks for worrying about me and yes I think you got most of the pain and all hit right on the head...i thnk I am feeling a lot better. I know I will feel fine in a couple of days.

Hey I would love to see the pictures you have ...i am trying to send the ones I have to everyone. My laptop doesn’t make it as easy to send things as my other computer did.

   

RENEE:::::::::lol I love the thoughts of what all and how Miss Peanut did her Christmas presents. I cant imagine how spoiled she is. Lol

My grandson that moved to Indianna and left her with me, is back to stay in this area. He ask me the other day if I had ever seen or heard any thing about her ...i told him all about her and he said he sure wish he could see her. I told him that we might just come over to see her sometime soon. If you wouldn’t care....maybe we could arrange it sometime huh?

I wonder if she would remember us? Im sure she would.

So sorry to hear about Tiffs kitten....that is sad.

Good morning how is everyone doing today?we sure had some pretty weather yesterday i would like that kind all the time,but our cold air is returning the weather man said only 37 today and the 20's at night burrrr.andy and i are getting spoiled by this nice weather.when we lived in pa we had lot's of snow.the last snow storm we had there our car was buried in the snow you could not see it at all.
jan we are glad to hear you are feeling better.no fun being sick.if you come over tonight you just might find me and andy having a wild party lol.we will just be watching tv and andy will be trying to okeep me awake to watch the ball drop.we both want to try and do that this year,the other night i fell alseep on the sofa watching tv and andy said he had to get out the shovel to clean up all the saw dust i left from snoring.lol.he said i must have been cutting some hard wood.lol.if you get some picture's from the party we would like to see them. i bet joe does look funny in that hat,opening that gift.i was telling andy if i had a turn to wear the hat i was thinking my hair would come off.lol.i only had one clip i lost the other two i had i have to get some more of them.

bec did those girl's wear you out i know you are enjoying your time with them.i could tell you lost weight since i saw you at the party i came to with jan and sugar.when you have a chance you should put a new picture on the board show everyone your pretty face from the front.you have such a sweet smile and they can see that look in your eye's that tell's us you are up to something.lol

peggy how are you have not seen you on the board in a while.hopefully we will get to see you again soon.

janet andy is doing good he is such a big help to me with trying to get ready for this surgery and he is a good cook.

good morning all, I dont think Ive been on OH for about a week or so and we are leaving tonight for 3 more nights but thought I would just get on and wish everyone a very Happy New Year. Rick and I are going to Branson for 3 nights of just being lazy...we may shop a little but mostly just lay around in our jammies and veg out at the motel. There are 2 or 3 restaurants within walking distance so we may not even drive anywhere...lol! The motel has an indoor pool so I can get my exercise everyday.

Like I said, just wishing for everyones NEW YEAR to be healthy and happy and prosperous!!!!

Wowzers it is cold out there this a.m. Only 14 here.Was 52 yesterday and in the 30's today.Come on spring LOL.
Well i tried those protein peanut butter balls and i don't really care for them,But Laura likes em.They would be good dipped in s/f choc.Kinda like a buckeye.But trying to stay away from all choc s/f or otherwise.So gonna have to suck it up and eat em anyways i need the protein. I used the body fortress vanilla powder from walmart. Can't stand to drink it so might as well use it for something.Think i might need some more oats in them. Will add more to next batch.
Well just wanted to pop in say howdy to all.I have dr's appt at 1 and need to get things done around here before time to go.Hope everyone has a great day.

Hi Auntie Jan and OH Peeps-
Happy Happy New Years Eve..... What does everyone have planned?  Would love to say that we have turned down a lot of happenin' parties tonite-but hummmmm.. Does it mean your old if you have only been invited to the casino with your parents (inlaws) OR...you have turned down people because you dont want to be around "rowdies"? LOL...

I AM OLD! I am..It hit me the other day-when my kids didnt know who big ben or gidget were (are)...HUH? Oh, I dont feel this old, but I remember MY parents or grandparents bringing up things I didnt know-and looking at them, like-geez, they are old! What is that they are talking about?  HAHA! So, I am going to embrace this age thing and go for it, even though, in the past year getting to go after things in life I have never done before- I sure dont feel my age!

Well, I cant believe I was thinking after Christmas I would get a break....Lets see...ready here-I have Stephanies 18th bday the 24th of this month, Jons 6th bday the 28th of this month, then next month I have the birth of my princess baby girl- and we were going to do the baby shower the first week in Feb, but Megan asked if I minded waiting until Mackanzie is here and I didnt think ANY woman at the shower would mind passing that little bundle of love around-so, a couple weeks after her arrival, end of Feb or beginning of March, we are having her baby shower- THEN....Mike and I are renewing our wedding vows in March. Our 10 yr anniversary.  Then, I get a months break-and Stephanie is graduating from High School.  2009 is going to be busy, it seems. WOW... In the midst of all of that, I have to get the house organized and get some stuff done with my medical needs.

I didnt get the trunks done for the girls either. There was too much sanding and all that to do-and the sander broke (as murpheys law has it) and we had to go get a new one and all that-but I am going to give it to Steph on her 18th bday instead.  The graduation party will be out here as soon as the pool is opened. Its going to be fun! We have a friend who plays in a band and we are going to see if she can play for the party out here.  They do a lot for the BACA groups and other organizations and they play at a lot of the bars and stuff!  I bet we can get them for next to nothing.

My ex has moved back here, yet AGAIN.....Im not sure what he is attempting this time around, but the cse better get their butts in gear and show that warrant active, cuz until they do their part-we cant have him arrested. Between his rich mom and boyfriend, he wont spend one whole day in jail, Im sure of that. He has called my phone twice, once on my bday to let me know how old I was.....so I wouldnt forget (ARGH) and then, again on Sunday to let me know he will be here at 9 pm. Like I care!  Geez...I could care less! I think he is trying to be my friend so that I wont go after him for his back child support. Thats really not going to work! LOL....

Well, I am going to get off here. I have to get to town and get a couple of things for tonite.  We are having a taco bar and some chips and stuff-and the kids and us are going to be playing guitar hero and some other games until New Years..... Stephanie cannot come, after all, because they scheduled her until 4 am! Geez! Aaron works until 7 pm.....I am going to enjoy a glass of champayne tonite. My favorite. Asti Spumante....Yummy. Yummy...... Megan and the boys are going to be having sparkling grape juice.  I sure am going to miss my Stepher tonite though!!!!  Everyone is spending the night and tomorrow I think we will be just hanging out again.

We have a lot going on, on Friday....I have to go get some flea pills for Molly, go grocery shopping and if the library is open, go take our books back while we are already there. We are also getting our new phones. Not sure if it will be Friday or Saturday, depends on when Mike gets off work. If he doesnt work on Friday, we will do it then. He wont know about Friday until today sometime. It sure would be really nice to have another day of Mike and us all hanging out.  We also ordered our free HD DVR from Dish...so they will be coming in the next week to get that installed. Cant wait to see the difference in the way it all looks. Oh, I forgot, we are going to Steve and Barrys, they are going out of business and their t-shirts, long or short sleeve are just $2. Steph bought a couple for me the other day. I am getting some for Christmas presents for next yr, since they had some really funny and cute ones-and said that they still had 2 truck loads of things to take out-they should still have a decent selection on Friday. They will only be open until the middle/end of January.

Im so glad that Tammy got her appt for her tummy tuck appt.  YAY! Thats awesome!  I pray her mom gets better and its simple! That really stinks, all of that going on.

**Jan, glad you will be feeling a lot better. That makes me feel good. I hate that your in such pain. I know that feeling way too much.

Hope and pray that Michele feels better soon.  Tell her to use a scarf or something!!! If it will prevent this from happening.

I will get the pics out to you and everyone else who wanted them.....have patience, I have a slow dial up from my laptop too-so it may take a bit, but I WILL get them out-just dont know when. If I get time to start today, I will-if not, I will have them by Sunday at the latest.

Hello all...

Yes, I'm alive but exhausted.  Spending time with Shelby and her husband was great but I really, really dislike his parents.  They tried to dictate every second the kids were here.  I am so sick of my daughter crying all the time when she's around them.  I am praying that husband of hers will grow some you know whats and start standing up to them.  The Saturday before they left was horrible.  Shelb had gone with me to Oklahoma to see my mom and Michael spent part of the day with Mark (at a gun show) and then the evening with his parents.  They decided to rip him a new one because he had spent some time with us.  And they always manage to say extremely nasty things about us.  At least this time he told Shelb he was sick of them and ready to go home.  Now he always manages to promise Shelb that things will be better then when he gets around them, he caves.  And it is driving Mark nuts.  Mainly because Shelby is his daughter and he feels like he still has to protect her since Michael is having difficulty doing it.  Sigh...enough of that.

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas and and even better New Year.  We are staying home  (too old to party) and will probably be in bed before midnight.  Not sure what we'll do tomorrow.  I need to start taking down the Christmas stuff.  I did take some pics that I want to post.  I also am planning to restart the Eatin' Good post since my eating has gone to pot over the holiday.  As I knew it would.  But I'm ready to get back on track and finish losing this weight.  I've been trying to keep up with you all but I'm sure I've missed a lot.  Hope you are all well and I will 'talk' to you soon!

I so do understand out your children and inlaws. My son has been married two times and I have already told him if he doesn't stay with this on he better find an orphan, because I won't deal with inlaws again!!!  LOL    They were all horrible people. I still have to deal with the first set due to a grandchild but, the second set are deceased now....(Never would wish that but life is easier) I always feel so bad when I say that but, sometimes the truth hurts. I am so sorry you have to deal with any of that but, wanted you to know you are not alone.
