I am getting discouraged and not sure what to do? I have upped my protein and I am exercising more, but I am still in a stall. I am 4.5 months out and lost 82 lbs!! I am thrilled with the #'s, I know I would of never been able to lose that in a year let alone 4.5 months. But, I am ready for the scale to move once again. I am able to tell a difference in my happiness now that it is going on the 3rd week. Does anyone have any advice for me? Please help!!!

Stalls Suck, but you will over come this.  The scale will move again.  I know this is easier said then done but maybe you should hide your scales for a little while then it wont get you down.  Congrats on the weight loss that is wonderful.  Stay positive and make sure you are drinking your water, Raynetta

I'll be 6 months out on the 6th and I've only lost 2 lbs. in the last 2 months.  My shoes are much loser and my wrists are smaller.....just what I was hoping for!  I think my body is adjusting to the 52 lb. loss and it will start moving again.  I've increased my protein and cut back on carbs.  Crackers taste really good to me and go down without any problem so I was eating them frequently.  I am getting into smaller clothes.

Don't get discouraged.  Just follow your plan and you will start losing again.

Congratulations on a great loss.

What JB posted about  sums it up.  I was in a stall for 6 weeks.  So I left the scale alone and 5 days later I was down again lol.  I had to cut back on my carb intake and start moving to lose , more.  The stalls suck rocks I know!  Don't lose faith though and good luck there.

Thanks everyone for your input. I am not stressing so much and I am not weighing myself but once a week and that will be it!! I am doing more exercise and trying to tone up. I should be grateful for the weight I have lost and have more patience and let my body catch up... Thanks for all the great advice!!
