Question Please Answer I need help!!!!

I wish I had better news to share with you but I don't know of any individual policies that cover any type of WLS , treatment for obesity otherwise (non surgical treatment) or stuff like plastics. 

I used to be in the insurance industry years back and the idividual policies are basically sold for healthy people that have not had any health issues of yet.  Basically they want your money to pay the premiums but they don't want to assume the risks of those with preexisting conditions.  That is why it is so vital to be able to get under an employers policy. 

Also bear in mind that some employers do not opt to purchase the additional coverage in their policies that will cover such things as WLS as well.  Sometimes the best was to ferret out the information is going at it backwards. 

Contact the surgeons office that you are interested in and see if you can talk to the person that handles the insurance claims for the office.  They might be able to give you some information as to what employers have policies that are paying ....  It is worth a shot... they might be able to help you a bit since it wouldn't be disclosing any patient information ....
