WHATS HAPPENING WEDNESDAY CHRISTMAS EVE

Good Morning All, don’t know why but last night everytime I tried to start this I just couldn’t and would go to sleep...finally just gave up and went to bed about 8pm lol don’t know what was wrong that I couldn’t stay awake..

Anyway yesterday was a weird day with the temps wasn’t it? We decided we had better go to town and get some gas for the 100 pound take for the trailer just in case...they were talking about an ice storm possible...Since our house is all electric we like to have a full tank of gas for the trailer in case the elect goes out..we can go to the guest house and keep warm anyway....Today we have to get over there and do some straightening so I can set up my exercise roomj lol and get the bedroom in the back fixed up... so need to get busy this morning...that is why this is going to be really short today...

  

DEBBIE  D   I still cant believe you gave me those Jack Terry pictures. So amazing girl. Thank you so very much... I hug the Silverbells and Moonlight one over the couch..looks really good. Then I put the picture I painted and hung it over the piano. I hung the smaller one  on the wall closest to the tv. Both look lovely...Joe was afraid they wouldn’t look really good in the living room with all my flowery stuff but I told him my style is such a conglaumation that  it I like it it goes together lol

I think they call it eccentric .  

Anyway I said all of that to once again tell you Thank you...i love the pictures.

 

Everyone that sent Joe and I  wedding anniversary card ...thank you. We really got some beautiful one...

We have decided that in August or September  before our 25^th anniversary we are going to go on a cruise , land tour package ...one  that you get off the ship and take side trips too , staying over night in hotels that are owned by the ships. Also taking smaller ships into areas that the bigger one cant get into anyway I think the whole package  2012 is a little ways away and we have an account opened at the bank and are automatically putting 20.00 a month in it we will have enough to pay for at least  part of it . lol 

   

ANDY & SUSAN::::: wow Susan you are going to get that surgery done soon aren’t you?  At least you know what all to expect since watching Andy for the last two years.

And what not to do....

Andy I think your feeling like you never get full is the fact that you drink so much water during your meal...I have gotten to where I don’t even put any water in front of me at meals cause I was getting to where I was drinking , not sipping, almost after every bite. And washing my food right thru my stomach. And that is probably what you are doing also.  I know you said at the party that it didn’t  take as much to fill you up....you are one determined man so try that for awhile and don’t drink for at least 30 minutes ...would try to wait for 45 minutes if I were you. So you will know for sure that you are full.

Plus them saying your stoma was large at least that will be something that you can do to help as much as possible....also you can pass it on to Susan that was she can get use to it now...

Oh the exercise room will be unlocked anytime you all want to go use it....I will have another key made so you all will have it  in case we do lock it up which might not be a bad idea  since I have some good exercise equiptment there now too.

  

SUSIE::::: thanks again for the elliptical air walker....that is excellent for bad knees like mine are at times and Susan has really bad ones too ...just wanted to say thank you sweetie. I really appreciate it.

  

BEC:::: thank you for the  treadmill, girl that doesn’t look like you ever used it much...it is a nice one that is for sure.  Hopefully I can now get some of this fat off.

We are sitting up the t.v. in there  and a radio so we can have either one to watch or listen to while exercising and have a nice clock in there too so we can take pulse ...great exercise room...hey maybe I could charge for other neighbors coming and working out lol ...

Also wanted to tell you how beautiful both your daughter are....they are two sweet and beautiful girls...a mothers dream I would think...thanks for sharing them with us , in your writings and now in person...thank you.

I remember when you first emailed me ...wow. what has it  been? Two years? Maybe closer to 3? Oh my how time flies.

  

RACHAEL::::::: lol sweetie, I will look for you when I see you darling. But everyone you all here her about making a promise to get there one day soon....ok it is the 4^th Monday of every month. And for the the time being at least we will be  meeting in the big library on S. Campbell. At 6:30 ok? So go mark it on the calendar right now...ok lol ? and call your mom now and make the appointment with her and tell her to write it on her calendar too ...then you will see it pretty much all month.... im excited to finally get to meet you sometime  next year.

I bet your kids are really getting big by now aren’t they? Do you have the latest pics in your profile?

  

JANET:::::: hey don’t beat yourself up over the clothes for Mikaela ok?  I would like to come over that way one day soon for some motorcycle parts and they have a good shop over there  somewhere. Don’t know if it is in Joplin or one of the little towns around it ok? Maybe you can look it up for us? Cant even remember the name..

Oh wow I know you are going to have an absolutely wonderful Christmas with all your kids there in the nest...

I love watching kiddos open things when they are little , is so exciting for sure lol

Did you get the girls cedar chests finished? I had a nice one I got at auction..and because I didn’t have any room for it so gave it to Michele, I told her that if she ever got tired of it or just didn’t want it to holler at me .

 

I think that a lot of people are stressed out right now because they just don’t know how they are buying their food and when done don’t have any left so  they get stressed, since most people have Christmas confused with getting lots and lots of presents. Because their kids expect that . maybe this depression is just what some people need to wake them up to the real reason for Christmas .. For Christ  who was born and died for us and was resurrected for us. Amen

Thank you for getting me the seal a meal canister set...fantastic. they are re usable aren’t they? And can be stored in the pantry? Will have to get many more of those. That will be great.  Yes I do have a practical side to me for sure. Probably more practical than what ever the opposite is. Lol but I do love pretty things too, I guess if I didn’t I wwouldt grow so many flowers lol

 

Wow just think you will have a 10 month old little girl next year for Christmas. Lol wow you better start buying up toys for a one year old lol....

 

Lol you liked that trick we pulled about the copper angels huh ? I was just holding my breath that no one took it from me...lol. I still love the picture...

Oh I wound up with the beautiful purple leaf  tray/plate too. Lol Brenda gave that to me saying that she didn’t have any place to display it or store it ....like I said I came out very blessed. Thank you everyone. .

 

Yeah I was watching HGTV yesterday and they were saying that if you would like to be on tv and get a contract  for a show on Hgtv to send in your tape....Sugar should do that I think....i would be her gofer. Lol she might win. Wouldn’t that be something:

ZAZAMATAZ::::: welcome back to the pad....wish you could have been to the party too. I know you all would have hit it off with someone if not several someones.

Hope to see you next months  meeting. I may not be there  but there will still be plenty of people there...good luck on your lap band.   I didn’t have enough will power to be able to use the lap band but applaued any one that can....we have other lap banders in our group so would love to have you too ...when none of you show up I have to go on what the papers say about it and to answer any questions. But I guess that is making me understand it more and what the diets are for you all...

Well weve decided to not go to Branson over Christmas but to wait and go down next week over New Years Eve and stay 3 nights ...a little mini vacation! lol Anyway plans change...that is life. We will still go to Ark on Friday tho and wont come home until Sunday.

I had a boring day yesterday except for the sliding out on the highway around noon...I had a call from my daughter wanting to know if I was home yet? She said it is getting really bad out there and I just needed to know that you was home.. Well I made it home safe but not till I had slid a little.

Today is warmer already than it got all day yesterday. That is good. Im going to go exercise here in a bit and have at least 2 days in this week. I should be able to go Friday morning before we head south too and we will stay in a motel down there that has an indoor pool so I can use it for a little while at least one night while there.

Ok Im getting off so I can make it to the gym in a bit.

Merry Christmas everyone

I love having my boys here, I do not see enough of them especially the one who lives in Dallas. I have a feeling it won't be long until we have a female guest coming with one of them. He is dropping a few hints but won't confirm anything.I don't think marriage is close but a serious relationship maybe.

I almost had the scare of my life yesterday. My DH came home from work and when he got out of his truck he slipped on ice and fell. He said he as he was falling he knew it wasn't going to be good. He didn't hit his head but he told me all he could think was he hoped I was home and would find him. He thought he had broken his arm. I was not at home and he was able to get up and he didn't break his arm thankfully. I got home about 10 minutes after he made it in the house. If I had driven up and seen him on the ground I would have thought he was dead  and his aorta had burst. I most likely would have had a heart attack and there we would both be. It wa scarey enough just hearing about it. I will be glad when the 30th gets here and we know for sure what we are dealing with. The stress of waiting is getting to us all.

I was glad the temps went up yesterday, my oldest drives a cab and I always worry about the ice on the roads. He has to work every night this week.I guess I will worry all winter.

I did get an early Christmas gift. My scales finally moved two pounds. I couldn't stay off of the scale. I can not get all my liquids in as hard as I try. I have never drank that much in my life. I am forcing water at times. I try very hard. At least I lost two more. Maybe it will keep moving. I doubt I will make wonderland by the end of the year but I was hoping. I am not to far away form it so it won't be long. I am just so happy to see something.

I am happy someone is getting some use out of the machine. It was not going to be used here and just in the way.Jan , you are welcome. Glad Susan is using it too.

Has anyone heard anything of Jeanine?  I am holding her up in prayer as well, that everything goes well and she has complete healing....

I have to make this quick, I have a million AND one things to do, and Im not getting around so well right now. In fact, I didnt get one ounce of sleep last night the pain was so fierce!! ARGH....I am NOT letting it slow me down today. I cant. I have too much to do, and the stuff I have to do, no one else can do for me....so, I have to just "suck it up" today and move on.. I may break down and have a glass or twelve (LOL) of wine tonite *sigh*

Well, as history would have it-Darrel is acting up again. We KNOW that around the holidays, he ALWAYS acts up. Well, actually, ANY time that most other people would be happy, he HAS to act out. It just infuriates me! So, he has lost a couple of his Christmas presents already-and yet, he is STILL lying and trying to be deceitful...when will he learn? He is going to be 15! This is crazy, he KNOWS right from wrong!  I know he was angry because I brought the girls and Aaron to the party, but, its like I told him, your a tween right now....altho that stinks, you gotta deal with it.  I told him that we would do something, just the two of us-and we did. We went Christmas shopping and had lunch.  O, I dont know. Just please say some prayers. I told him last night that he is NOT getting the opportunity to mess up everyones holiday and that IF he decides its worth it to TRY, then he will be in his room, by himself.......grounded AND....not just from video games, but from tv, phone, extra corricular activities. He is now grounded for 2 weeks, one week for each person he lied to and tried to be deceitful with. My mom and then Mike.

I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas Eve and an amazing Christmas Day! Im not sure when I will be back on.....tonite I will meet myself coming and going. LOL. Tomorrow will be busy with the kids and making dinner and all of that...then Friday, Mike asked me if I wanted to spend the day with him for my b-day....so, him and I are going hunting (weather permitting) and then Stephanie has asked me to go to lunch with her.....and then Mike is taking me on a "date" to go eat and then we are going to see Seven Pounds with Will Smith.... Has anyone seen it yet? Im excited! I usually dread my bday...but.....I am looking forward to it this year-that only took, what? 29 yrs? LOL Yeah, I know-dream on, Janet! Oh well, I do not feel 41, not that that is old, AT ALL, BUT....I really do feel like Im in my 20s, just that my bones are in their 80s!

Jan, I would so do the group for you, if I knew for sure tht I would make it to Springfield, thats what I worry about-not being able to make it....IM sorry. I hope you find someone!  When will you be leaving, do you know yet?

Would that biker store be called Biker Boutique?  On Gateway Drive? If so, thats like 4 miles from my house! Thats the only other one I can think of, besides the Harley Davidson shop, but I figured you would have remembered that name, no matter how forgetful we can be! Let me know if thats it and I will get the info for you.

So, yeah, if you come this way, I will meet you with the clothes and if not, would you like me to mail them to you?  OR, does Kim ever see Sug? If I come to the meeting in Jan, I could give them to Sug....

Ok-Sorry for not responding to everyone, I simply just dont have the time....I am thinking of ALL of you! I am praying for all, for health, happiness and unbelievable and incredible blessings!!! I had decided not to go to Springfield due to the weather,
no money and car acting up or should say not acting up and called Daniel last night and told him.  he was very dissapointed but asked me to wait until today to make the decision.  He called me back 2 hours later to tell me he was coming to get me today and he would bring me home Saturday.  I just cried - Wow - what kind of son do I have?  It just makes me so proud.
