WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY--PARTY TIME!!!!

Went to Holiday Island today to help Michele do some things. Hauled off lots of junk that I never saw any one have so much stuff and she needed someone to bring a ladder and help her with the spider webs all over the ceilings and she has these huge high ceilings...we scrubbed and cleaned and hauled off and burnt stuff tell we all were tired and exhausted... any way we got home about an hour ago...so ive started my soup that im bringing to the party tomorrow night , it has been a year since I made this and is so good but I hope I have got everything in it that I needed....hope I have enough shrimp....im sure I do tho...

Sugar did you get my email about lunch tomorrow , im sorry I just cant be there....i said why in the email...i just cant get things ready in time to be there either...im sorry I would have loved to be there .

Brrrrrrrrrr it sure has been cold all day hasn’t it....oh yes Sugar , our brother David has been diagnosed with diabetes he said his blood sugar had been up in the 300s for days.

And then now he has the flu on top of all of it. He sure didn’t sound good. ....

 

Jeanine sure was good to see you on the board yesterday....and I hope you get on here more often now...really looking forward to seeing you Monday night at the party....

   

BARBARA  S.::::: I was wondering if you had any trepidations about driving right now...I know I did after I went to sleep and ran in the ditch..it scared me to drive thinking I might go to sleep again but my stay awake pills really help me...so ive gotten use to it again. ‘that is so precious about Baby not wanting you to move or anything when she is on your chest. Bless her heart she was really traumatized wasn’t she?  Just know that if you and Peggy decide to come down don’t worry about food or anything ok? Just come on down....we would be so trilled to see you...and I know we will have pleanty of food.

   

Susan ::::; thanks for bringing over the suit...Sugar wants to do something silly I think. LOL it has been so cold out today I hope you all didn’t go walking outside, it fooled you with the pretty sunshine but the temp sure didn’t match the beauty of the day did it?

You all be careful on your drive to Columbia and back to Republic. That is a lot of driving in one days time....I know you are excited about seeing the surgeon and im anxious to find out what they had to say....also to Andy what they tell him ...

You will have all sorts of news to tell us. 

  

BEC:::::: I don’t think you taking two full doses of pain meds if you are in pain then that is what you need to do...like Janet and I have both said it is better to take the full dose of pain meds twice a day rather than be in pain half the day that you can really do all that you want to do....and you wont get addicted I promise you....

Don’t think you have to do a half dose when you have pain ...i just said that because you seemed so reluctant to take the second dose in the afternoon...you know you can get that med in pills now ims sure you can swallow them now couldn’t you?

Im so so sorry I cant meet you at 11 am ...for lunch,,, there is no way I can get everything done and get ready to come into town. I would have to leave way to early and Joe has something he has to do early in the am so ...sorry sweetie I will give you two or three extra hugs

That is the way I feel about Jeanine too. I think she is going to be something special and very soon...

Will see you tomorrow night and so anxious to see you . wanted to go shopping with you but just wasn’t meat to be....love you girl..

   

SUSIE::::: I know you are so very disheartened but I swear you will not be a failure at this surgery , no one is and I think all of us thought that very same thing....you lost quite a bit in the two weeks before surgery so you had already lost the bunch of water weight that others do after surgery. So don’t get disheartened. It will work...i promise...keep doing all the rules....dont substituted anything for anything do it all according to Dr. Hs. Rules... you will start losing ...

I don’t know if Dr. H would do the surgery or not . im sure he would if Your hubbys insurance approved him for it....i don’t know if he would have to get approval from the AMA or not...but he might go to Sweden or some of the other countries that are doing it lol

   

VESTA:::::::lol I can just see all of us old ladies running around in matching leg warmers and gloves. I bet they would help keep us warm tho...especially in the house sitting watching tv that is when I get the coldest,... hope you had a great day and sure wish you could or would come up to the party tonight....it would be a good thing to do...really it would lol

  

SANDY:::::: pretty cold isn’t it? We didn’t have any trouble with our car which im glad of . Hope you get to feeling better. And down here as far as I know they were saying beautiful warm weather on Christmas but you know how fast they can change the weather...

  

BEVERLY B::::: wow girl what a change in you...See this is why I tell everyone to take lots of pictures. I took my picture at least once a month when you cant tell any difference you can look back at pictues over the month and it seems like you are looking at someone else. ..amazing girl you are doing great . keep up the good work ......keep taking the pictures.

I wish you could be with us at the Christmas party.too. yes we will have a great time...You will just have to plan on being with us for the Reunion this year....we are trying to find a place in about the middle of the state so more of you can come...sure hope that ,, that will be the case anyway...that was what we were told that the reunion was too far away for the people to come.  We will see. Just hope you will get to come to any and all of the things we have...ok?

Good Morning Y'all,

Hope everyone is staying warm,  its so bone chilling cold outside and that wind here was blowing mighty strong when I went to bed last night.  We are getting ready to leave for Columbia,  Susan is so excited about seeing the Surgeon today and Im so excited for her,  we are hoping she dont have to have to many tests run and she can get on with having Surgery quickly,  I know its a long process, it was for most of us, it seems lately tho that alot are getting surgery done a bit quicker then alot of us did.  Yesterday we had our Church Christmas dinner, it was really nice, they had a singing group come in and perform for us called "Southern Raised"  they were terrific.  They are a Blue Grass Gospel group consisting of  3 sisters and a brother, ages 21, 20, 14 and the brother was only 11, talk about talent, omg these kids can play all sorts of blue grass instruments, they were so good and afterwards we had the biggest lunch,  we came home then and got stuff ready for the party today, w00t w00t, I cant wait for the party, we're so excited about that,  I know Sugar and Janet have worked their tails off getting ready for it, its gonna be great.

Jan are you silly?? Walk in this weather??  No way gurl  LOL  We were gonna go work out in the trailer but by the time we got done getting pies ready and stuff it was getting dark and I didnt wanna get out in the cold anymore lol.  I bout froze taking the suit over to your greenhouse for Susan, I think I ran over there and back in less then a minute  LoL.  We'll see ya tonight in Republic,  I wrote down the directions off google maps, hope I have em right, you'll be getting a call if I dont  lol.  

Well I gotta get off here and get dressed and on the road, we will see alot of you at the party tonight, dress warm, its  so cold out there now.

Hello All;

I have finally admitted I am Scared to drive right now. I have decided to wait until I get the replacement car. Just start new. My son has been laid off hi job so he is taking me where I need to go. Weareenjoying that.   Baby is getting used to her cast. She is starting to run around...it is so funny, she holds it to the side straight out. LOL  Three more weeks with the cast and it comes off.
I keep thinking she is going to wack the cat with it but she hasn't thought of that yet...LOL She does chase her now and that is fun to watch. Catches the cat off guard sometimes.

I sure wish we could have made it to the party but, the weather is suppose to change again. I don't trust the weather people so we won't chance it.

I have to start cooking today. Hubby has a Christmas party tomorrow at work. I doubt they will be able to do it because the weather is calling for wintery mix tomorrow. It's beiginning to look like a 12 hour day. I just hope it doesn't do anything on Christmas or he will be working. Got to keep the roads safe for everyone. He really does enjoy his job but, sometimes the weather doesn't work with our plans. LOL
