WHATS HAPPENING SUNDAY

It started out not bad this morning but it sure has been dropping in temps all day hasn’t it? Jus****ched the weather report and it is going to get cold deep down bone chilling cold...i may very will wear long handles under my pants the night of the party...that is going to be a horrendous cold cold cold...so bundle up Monday night, be sure and put a couple of warm blankets in your car just in case you get caught out ...you never know ...in the winter I always plan on the worse happening. I carry a blanket  and several protein bars  a couple of bottles of water...of course now days most everyone has a cell phone but still there is that possibility .....sound like the old days don’t i...you know never leave the house without clean underwear on ....lol

 

I cant believe it is going to get that cold as they say , lets hope they don’t know what they are talking about...

 

Joe spent most of the day over at Andys and Susans...doing some trim work that we hadn’t gotten done. ...he is slow about what he does but he does get it done after while and it is usally a really good job....he seems to take a lot of pride in getting things just right..which is good. But I told him today I sure would hate to be paying him by the hour. Lol

   

BARBARA S.  I sure wish you would come on down...it really isn’t suppose to do anything down here but get cold lol  you will be missing a good time that is for sure. I think there is quite a few now that have signed up to come. .

Have you been checked out about the dizzy spells? I would imagine you received a concussion. But shouldn’t it be healed by now? I bet Baby doesn’t want to be away from you for a minute for sure. She will never leave your side from now on you can bet.

   

SUSAN:::: we are all praying that you don’t have to wait too long to have your suregery...and can get healthy...get rid of the insulin and all the other pills etc...did you get over to the trailer and use the exercise machines today?

Oh I need to ask you somethinjg tomorrow ....remind me ok?

Have fun tomorrow at your party you are going to ... oh yeah is that this Tuesday those people are coming out about the windows?\

  

BEC:::::::: well looks like you might wear more ruts in that pretty (red) carpet lol it is going to be so cold you wont be able to walk outside that is for sure.

 

So I hope you got all your grocery shopping done while it was half way fair.....

How did things go for you pain wise? I hope you find a place to where you can exist with out pain..

Yes I think I have a beautiful nativity scene ,,,my mama had it and gave it to me ...it is all finished in this beautiful pearly   color. I love it and mainly because my mama gave it to me.

  

ANDY::::: hey don’t get onto Susan lol she is just so excited about the surgery that she is trying to force the day to hurry up , I guess she thought that if she makes apple pies it would be Monday lol ....

Hey Jan;

I would love to come down but, I don't think Peggy is willing to drive down and I 'm not driveing yet due to the dizzy spells. I am going to get checked out after the Holidays. Baby is doing so well. Bless her heart she is such a good dog. She can't get close enough to me. LOL She likes to lay on my chest all the time and she doesn't want me to knit. It makes her mad.LOL  I finally admit that I am also just afraid to drive at this time. I know I need to get back to it but, think I will wait until I get my car replaced. We are going to wait until after the first of the year so we don't have to claim it on Personal Property taxes this year. Every little bit helps.

Good morning to all how you are staying warm jan is right it is bone chilling cold.i am from pa but up there they usally have some snow with it we dont need any of that. like i told andy thank go we dont have any ice or snow now we want everyone to get to the party safe. jan thank joe for us for what he did yesterday he does a good job.this coming tuesday is the day they are coming out to look at the window's if the weather does not turn bad. supposed to be 50 by friday nice walking weather.no we did not get over to the trailer yesterday jan we will be till the walking weather does come back.

barb glad to hear you are feeling better and baby too we are praying you to get better see ya monday night if you make it.

peggy would sure be nice to see you again too andy and i know it is a long drive for you we know how long drive's can be with all the trip's we are making to the doctor's but it is worth it i can hardly wait till tomorrow.

cor glad to hear about your weight loss before i know it i will be on the looser's bench also

Good 9 degrees Morning...

Shucks I guess I will be back inside for the walk this morning.... I got out yesterday morning and it was GREAT!!!  all six dogs came running like they had not seem me in years!!!  They were so happy! ~ha

I have to make this quick as things will be tight today getting all the last minute details ready to roll....

I'm nearly jumping out of my seat at the thought of the next couple of days!!!  Boy oh boy I can't wait to see all of you and MY BABIES!!!  It's tomorrow!!! I have not seen my Crystal since MAY!!! I said MAY!!!!  Oh boy that's too long!!!

I did some house work .... went out and walked, then I took a shower and ... woke Paul up and we went to town... Went to 4 grocery stores to get the deals it was 8:00 last night when we were unloading my very FULL puddle jumper and putting groceries away...

Mimi ~ I had to take 2 FULL doses of pain meds yesterday I was hurting so bad I was crying.... it did help and I got thru the rest of the day... I guess I shouldn't of took two FULL doses but I was desperate in pain!!

Oh well today is another day and I'll try the half dose in the afternoon and see how that works...?

I'm so incredibly glad to see that sweet doll Jeanine post!!!!  I feel so very very deep in my spirit there is such good things coming for that dear lady!!!

Well I have to finish the ornaments and another project I'm working on for Paul's family and then do some cooking, packing, etc. etc. etc... will be anther full day.... will have to get Paul to hook up the trailer and load the treadmill for you...

I will see you all at the  Great Wall at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow... boy oh boy I can't wait!

I am praying for the many many needs on the board as well.  I wish each one of you a wonderful and blessed Merry Christmas!  as I will probably not be back on till after Christmas Day...

Man is it cold up here on this hill. We have been staying in the basement  it seems warmer there.You don't hear the howling wind down here. I am looking forward to getting my son home today. Its been a year since he has been here. At least there is no snow or ice to deal with today.

I got on the scale again today and I am now officially upset. It has been four weeks and the scale has only moved one pound.  I am going to do my measuring on the sixth of Jan.(two month mark). I did expect to lose more by this time. I lost 15 on the liquid diet so I have only lost 16 since the surgery. Thats about two pounds a week average. Thats what regular dieters lose. I sure hope I didn't have this surgery for nothing. I am forcing water to the point it makes me nausious. I drink about 50 grams of protein and eat meat and other protein to add up to about 80 grams aday. I do not know what is wrong. I am active but I do not "workout" I stay so busy during the day that when I get home at night I have no energy to do anything. I have been preocuppied with DH 's health so I have been making sure he eats healthy and takes it easy. The only good thing about it is I still have lots of clothes I can wear. I kept lots that were tight before. I got rid of all the loose ones and most of my summer stuff. Its begining to look like I should have kept the summer stuff. I may be this size forever. Sorry to rant and complain but it is frustrating. I think I may be a failure at this just like all the diets I have tried.

On a lighter note do you think Dr H would do this surgery on a normal weight person? My DH is considering it for the diabetes.

So sorry about your husband, you know on the news they were talking about doing this surgery for diabetics in Sweden, but they want do it here yet that I know of..I sure am praying he gets better, I know you worry about him....vesta

We went to the Christmas program at church last night a, and they are having it this morning and we are going to my Brothers at Moody Mo. for Christmas party, so it feels strange not going to church this am..Virg and I didn't get in the program because my mouth wasn't well when they were practicing but it is ok now...

Barb I am so glad Baby is doing good..
I have a great pattern for knitted open fingered gloves and leg warmers to match, they are knitted on 4 needles, and I love it ,if you want them I can scan the pattern and send it to you, they are so warm, I wish I had started them earlier for my secret sis as we get so cold...

3 above here this am and its cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My car won't start so I had to take Dad's truck to wally world as we were out of cat food and dog treats aand I needed more musinex dm and prilosec otc.   Ended up at Aldi's for milk and bread.  So am home now and don't plan on stepping out of the house until in the morning.

Don't know if I will be going to Spf. for Xmas or not as it depends on money, getting the car running but most important the weather.  They are forcasting more freezing rain Tuesday on top of the almost an inch we got the other day.

I need to get my rear in gear and get my homemade chicken soup started.  Stay safe and warm!

Oh my goodness I hate hate hate winter..I am so cold I can't get warm. My granddaughter and I went to church this mornig and I froze. I have not been cold for 20 years.lol...but I am not complaining..lol...

I sure wish I could come to the christmas party. I envy you all. You will have such a good time. Hopefully next year I will be able to..

Well not to much to talk about. So I will get off here  for now.

Susie, I think our bodies just stop every once in awhile and catch up. I have been stalled for about a month now and this morning when I stepped on the scale I have lost another 2 lbs.  Thats the way I have done all along. I think my first stall was about 3 weeks out and have been consistent  in stalling every few weeks  and still managed to lose 114 lbs. so just be patient and keep doing what you have been doing. It will come off..I was afraid I wouldn't lose either but I have.

Bec you are doing so good. It feels good when someone can tell a difference. My daughter gave me a hug today and said wow, I can get my arms all the way around you..and told me how skinny I am looking. I don't look skinny to me but somehow I feel skinny. lol if that makes any sense..

Well Jan here is what I am looking like now. I have a turkey neck. lol but I am loving every minute of it...
