WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Hi guys and gals....today whewwwwwwwww the sun was shining most of the day...i ran in and out all day long...had so much fun lol ...Joe got my shelves put up ...one of the boards is a little warped but I told him it is ok..he said one of these days he would replace it.. I cleaned up some things in the yard today...isnt that exciting? Lol I washed two of the windows outside that don’t have the tilt in windows. Well one of them is a tilt out but somehow when it was put in it got a board put inside wrong and wont tilt. Lol

 

Well this is the time of year that I start looking at my house and seeing the things that need to be fixed , changed , redecorated and what ever. Joe and I are looking for a new couch but I cant find one I like ...i think the ones I like don’t really exist except in my mind. I want one that has at least 2 different materials. And lots of fringe lol any one a person that re does furniture. Lol I just don’t like my couch. It is down filled so it just sinks you into it. And then it has detachable pillows on the back ...all of this would be ok if it was a pretty color but it is tan, or what ever color you want to call it...i want a purple couch lol well not really but I don’t want a       TAN     one...yuck....it just blends into the floor and everything....oh well when we get back from our trip I will get on this and get a new one , there is one place that has a whole place full of beautiful couches is over in Rogers...the cheapest one is about 1500.00 lol don’t think so...but I would If I could lol

They are so pretty , just great.

   

SUGAR:::::::That’s too bad that you had that nausea last night how about tonight do you have it again? Hope not but ulcers seems to have a time table sometimes...

 

Well maybe Skyler and Levi can grow up and go to Chefs school and have their own restaurant. That would be neat...there are some good recipe books out there for kids too.

 

I guess I will have to tell my person that I am her secret santa. I wanted to send her my final gift to her but im still wating for it to come in....darn. I will wait another day or two ..if I get it in this week end I can get it to her by Christmas Eve I would think...hopefully .

 

Sounds like you and I are having the same Christmas dinner....because we are having ours on the 27^th I figured everyone will be tired of big dinner stuff. So we are having mostly finger foods...and sandwiches. 

 

So you are meeting Bec at 11am? I will come up but if I eat lunch there will be no way I could eat supper....

 

Michele just called me while ago and said well I told Ross to hit the road. She said he came down to her work today after she had been out buying things for the place where she works. And got in her face about why she wasn’t at work and where had she been and why didn’t she call him and tell him where she was and for how long ....she said she came unglued and told him that there was only one man in this world that could  ever tell her what to do and that was Jesus and no one else. Wow wow what a moment ....for me to hear that. She said she didn’t know why God didn’t install a warning bell or whistle or something that would start going ding ding ding ,,,,hey dingy wake up and look where you are going lol  I just cant get use to this new Michele....they may make it but I think She has decided that there is going to have to be a lot of calming talks and find out what is going on ...no empty promises. 

  

Oh yeah I remember those oatmeal pies   who was it that liked them so much? Was it Carol? Any way it was at the little café in Hurley if you all are wondering....such good homemade pies. I hope you get it cutting the sugar out...yummmmy...

I saw the hot drink mix your  sister made for you.....it sound delicious but one whole cup of butter????? Wow???’that seems like it might be a little rich for me lol ...it taste good I bet tho...

 

VESTA:::::; hey I told all of you that we aren’t going to steal a boat....no that is too dangerous. And we might wind up with free meals and stuff but we wont be anywhere nice like seaside or beach or even a pool so we need to not think of that job any more lol

Just give us your money that you have and we will go find you all a place down there ok?lol

   

BEC ..... I agree that wind this morning was really something. ...it woke me up about 3:30 it sounded like the roof was blowing off. I swear I think it was flopping the metal roof on this house....they said we were gerting gusts up to 50 miles an hour I think ...

 

Wow that is some recipe for your trail mix....i guess you could buy that thru out the year  and feeze it so it would stay fresh....they had the big boxes of Cheerios at our grocery store here while back for 99 cents a box lol ....

 

Yes the shelves do look good...i decided for right now to put my nativity scene up on the bottom shelf since I will have 3 little ones here and that just might be toooooo tempting those big camels and cows  and sheep ...and it looks good up there.  Sometimes little ones don’t mean to break stuff  it just looks like something fun to play with.

 

Yeah I saw Andy go by the house this morning walking but I just didn’t want to fight that wind. So I went over and worked out on the ellipitical and  the ab lounger. Lol  I think im going to like having something to do on these bad days like this now....

 

Tomorrow im going to start the curry, squash soup  ymmmmy....hope some of you like it...it is really good.

 

So did you try the half dose of pain meds this afternoon?  Yes it doesn’t mean that your back doesn’t hurt because not having cartledge does hurt but most of the pain is muscle spasms...if you can get them to stay calmed down as the day wears on it wont hurt as much...plus the apron we carry in the front doesn’t help the pulling and pain in the back...

ANDY::::: sounds like you are a candidate for the new surgery they have now...called stomaX  they sort of do your stoma like the waist of a pair of sweats lol but that is what they do. And I think they go down your throat to do that onel don’t even have to cut you open.  I sure hope that it will help you get back on track with your weight loss. I bet it will  work good/ wonder if you have to start back over with diet , you know clear liquids and on up...

 

How long does it take for you all to get back from Columbia.? The party starts at 6pm so I just wondered if you all will be back by then.  Sure hope so....

 

Boy that fog was like soup wasn’t it:? I hope it isn’t like that when you and Susan go up on Monday....just be careful.

   

SUSIE:::::: I don’t think that the length of time you have been out from surgery that you need to go to a day or two of liquids since you haven’t even gottine up to where you need to be on the amount of stuff you need yet....you are just going to have to push yourself to get in the liquids in a day....i didn’t lose but 16 pounds for the whole first month when I had surgery...i really felt bad and sad but when I got my protein up to normal and my water up to where it was suppose to be I started losing about  a half pound a  day...

Good luck girl....dont know what exactly you did with the protein and hot cocoa.i think I would have to see it to know.  You know maybe we need to have a meeting that you bring your best drink or what ever and do a demonstrations.  Lol See that is what we are talking about about the pants being too big now lol ....keep it up and keep striving to get the protein ,vits and water all in in one day.   Once you get it done you will be able to keep it going.

We will see you Monday when you get to the church ok,,don’t worry Sugar will have some of us to help till you get there . So sorry to hear about Arron and his family. Now is the time for him to step up , be a husband and a man and if his family does things that make his wife uncomfortable then he needs to man up...and support her in every way...

Sweetie you don’t have to feel like you have to tell me everything really it is ok. Just remember to trust God for all your needs , things will get better they always do....i like to say you know nothing ever stays the same it is an always changing  world...yes sometimes things get worse but then you can say at least I know it wont stay the same for ever either. Lol don’t mean to make lite of your problems just know that God is always the answer....love you and you are due a big hug on Monday....boy that picture of your baby and baby she is already showing ? lol and you didn’t notice or you just didn’t say anything? It is probably best that she quit that job at the jail any way there could be a 100 different things that could happen ....love you all see you on Monday night. Lol

Glad you got to visit Susie, she is a sweetie isn’t she? I have talked to Rachael many times on here  ut she has never made it to a support meeting, she has promised us many times but never made it..

 

The elephant ears were what I said you all had to share. I didn’t bring as many as I could have but am planting some up in pots  to have them ready to go in the spring...dont know where in the world I will put them but may if I have them all potted up and going well , I may take them to  farmers market and sell some of them. I don’t know if over there you can leave them in the ground or not but I leave mine in the ground all year and put straw mulch over them ...now that it is so late   just keep them in an area that they wont freeze and not closed up real tight in a sack. So they wont rot  and plant them in the spring ....somewhere in the direct sun ...  next year you will have more than twice as many. ‘

Im sure there are others that have and will come or not come but to all of those that we don’t see Monday night ....sure wish you would have been there so we could have given you big hugs.......

Hello Everyone;

I wish I was coming to the COF Party but, I think we decided the weather was to risky. I will be thinking of all of you Monday. I am still not driving, still having dizzy spells and stiff in the neck area.  I don't want to be driving with the dizzies. Will see the Dr. after the Holiday if I am still having the spells. Baby is doing great. No bleeding in her urine today. She gets along with the cast well. It is so funny to watch her stick it out to the side to chase the cat. She still lays on me alot. She really gets upset If I leave her very long. Like more than 30 second. LOL

I have to get my hair retrimed. I lost so much in the rollover. I have a barrett that is full of my hair. It just ripped it off.

I have managed to finish my Christmas shopping but, have nothing wrapped. Guess what I will be doing this week end. YUK!

Good morning to all is everyone ready for the cold air coming in.sure will be cold starting this afternoon and only getting colder by monday.jan your shelve's look nice andy said.andy's app is at 100pm on monday sometime's they will take him in a little bit early the doctor he is seeing know's we live a long way from there and he like's to get people in and out soon as he can so they can get back on the road he does not rush you out and will answer your question's he just know it is a long drive for us.my app is at 10.00 am i can hardly wait has been almost a month since i made the app.i am soo ready to get rid of my pill's and my needles. sometimes my arm's or my belly look's like andy hit me lol,they get black and blue time to time from my insulin shot's. when andy and i were in columbia on thursday for andy's test's we were both tired so when we got to the waiting room for his first test there were some people that looked like they were there for a while they had their head's layed back on their chair's resting so i did the same thing and i went out andy had to wake me up i was sorning so loud you could have heard me down the hallway lol.jan andy said we would make in time for the party soon as he isa done with his app we will get on the road we may cut it close but we will be there we would not miss it for anything we know it will be a great time.

renee are you and janet ready to spoil those grand babie's that is what grandparent's are for spoil them soo rotten then send them back home lol.

barbara baby just sound's soo cute and spoiled when andy and i are gone for a day our two kid's will not leave us out of their sight they follow us every where. when i came home from the hospital my chrissy mommy's girl came into the bathroom with me and sat on the bathroom rug and watched the shower door to omake sure i was coming out and when andy came home his girl mecko was jumping up and down for joy and started to cry she was soo happy to see him.

andy and i are looking foward to seeing everyone at the party andy is going to make some sugar free open face apple pie he is really a good cook and i am making some sugar free pistachio pudding salad i am soo ready for monday to see the doctor that yesterday i kept on saying it was sat already. i better go for now i have some laundry to do then i want to help andy peel some apple's and get some other thing's done we have our church christmas dinner after church this sunday morning then on the road monday morning we are thinking of everyone and praying for for you too have a good day susan

Yeeee Ikes!!!  It's cold!!! and to get way colder yet they say...?  Hope it does not put a damper on travel plans, celebrations and such... if I could just get my babies all tucked safe and sound in here I wi**** would snow BIG!!!  It is so beautiful here when it is all snow covered with the woods and all...

Paul is fussing I'm wearing a permanent rut in the carpet walking inside?  What's a girl to do? ~tee hee

Well I worked all day on projects yesterday and have a good deal done... I need a bit of help from Paul now to finish them up...  Have 25 hangers to make for the ornaments, and a bit of help on a project I'm making for his family...  I will as always be the very last minute till I get everything done... a seemingly fly by on the seat of my pants deal...~tee hee

I have to do house work this morning while Paul sleeps and then we will go to town so I can do some major grocery shopping for the parties coming up... and the girls will be home for the better part of three weeks that's lots and lots of menus... Paul is going to be a happy man for the next few weeks! ~ha

We will have to bundle up real good to do the shopping!  I like it when he chauffeurs me around...

Mimi ~ I didn't try the pain meds yesterday but will today... as I will be working alot harder this morning and then several hours of shopping... it will be a tough back day for sure...

Sounds like you have a beautiful nativity scene... I want a new one but one I REALLY REALLY like if I'm going to invest the $$$... I've had one for years and years that I made but it is chipped and showing so much wear... used it all the years my girls were growing up...I will give it to one of them when they get a place of their own... it now has sentimental value is all.

Well I better not dally and get in there and clean my bathroom and dust my bedroom before Paul gets home and goes to bed....

Good Morning Y'all,

I just read where Susan said she's gonna go peel apples and help me do stuff,  geeze I get up and she's snoring like crazy....she's working alright, working at sawing logs  hahahaha  She must think its Sunday cuz I'm not making the pies til Sunday night so they are fresh for the party.  I'm making Barbs open faced apple pie,  its easy and so yummy.  

Jan I did walk yesterday but that wind was blowing pretty good making it feel colder then it was. Im gonna start working out over in the trailer,  I cant be missing out on my excersise anymore cuz of the weather and all, just cant have it,  gotta get the rest of this weight off by the summer or early fall,  its not gonna take Susan long to get her weight off Im sure and besides, Im tired of trying to lose it, its time to get it off and move on Columbia is about 3 hours or so from Springfield, If I get on the road by 2pm which I dont see why I wont be, we'll be there by 5 - 5:30 which will be just in time.  Im so looking forward to the party Im anxious to see what Sugar and Janet have in store!!

Bec you and Paul drive careful on Monday,  it better NOT snow or anything until AFTER everyone is home from the party safe and sound Old man winter can just wait a few hours   Bec when you get a chance can you send me your recipe for peanut butter balls, I been meaning to ask you for that,  yours come out so good and i think they have something different in them that makes em yummy, pleaseeee. pretty pleasseeeeeee

Winter is coming with a vengence . My so flys in to Springfield on Sunday, I sure hope the wind doesn't cause a problem. I can just see them cancelling his flight. I hope he makes it in safe. My Dh is still feeling poorly. He is really worried about his health. I wish we didn't have to wait so long for the CT scan. He is afraid he is going to die and I am afraid the worry will make him have more problems.Keep him in your prayers. I am worried about him.
I hope everyone is almost ready for Christmas. I am always afraid my kids will be disappointed and think there isn't enough. So I am off to make some last minute purchases this morning.Its supposed to be the busiest shopping day of the year. I hate crowds.But a mama has to do what she can.
