Hello everyone,
OK I am ready for spring. Three days of cold, ice and snow is enough for me..
Well here it is for today.
Breakfast: Hot chocolate protein drink
snack: slice cheese with 3 multigrain crackers
lunch: 4 protein balls
snack: few walnuts
dinner: 1/2 c chili with sour cream and 4 mutligrain crackers
before bed: hot chocolate protein drink
vits, fluid, and protein all in..didn't walk today. painful knees and back, darn weather. I don't like to take pain pills cause all I want to do is sleep when I take them..
I make my hot chocolate with 1 scoop unflavored protein (21 gr protein)and add 1 packet of no sugar hot chocolate mix(3 gr protein). I put about 2 oz of ho****er to dissolve protein and chocolate mix. Then I nuke about 5 oz of water and add to mix. simply delicious. I use Best Choice brand and it is really good. I have used chocolate protein and vanilla protein and it was good also..
Well time to get to bed..nite all....
You had an awesome day and thank you so much for the idea on the hot chocolate. I tried to make some for myself and all I ended up with was hot milk and protein....not bad but not great. I never thought of using a premade hot chocolate mix.....duh.
