WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

We had sun most of the day anywayl but it sure wastn warm or at least to me it wasn’t. I walked with Andy and Susan and Joe even came along but he did one lap and quit...Susan is getting farther most days each time. Wont be  long before she is able to

Walk all the way around. At least once.

 Joe wanted me to go for a ride on the trike today but it was just too cold for me. I don’t know how im going to stand it for a long trip but ,. We have decided that we are giving each other for our anniversary gift and Christmas gift we are going to go get us some really good insulaterd underwear. Janet told me of a good brand called Under Armor but said you could get the same thing at another place and under a different name...so need to find out what brand she is talking about ....it is well worth paying bigger money for them when you are on that trike and it is cold out...yeah you would pay 100 dollars for some nice warm underwear. Lol

 

They are talking about there being ice and sleet on Monday....that is the night of our Christmas party. Don’t know what we will do if it is impossible to get to the church,...i guess we will just cancel it. But I sure do hope not. Sugar and Janet are both planning us a wonderful party...but if the weather is bad we know there wont be anyone there.

I guess we need to pray that the weather will be ok and not have snow and/or ice...

 

I have to stop at Walmart in the morning before going on up to Sugars and get some protein bars and then when in Springfield will have to get some more ON Protein. Im getting close to being out. , been making lot more things that I have to put Protein in them,

I am really really trying to get in 1000 calories a day....im sure finding it really really hard to do most days. Some days is better but im eating all day and I mean that. Is very hard to get that all in. I get in all my water and all my protein and all my vits. But the calories are so hard ...i try amping things up so that it will up it and all that does is make it more filling in my tummy and then I cant eat as much..

So what to do....i wish you all would post on Peggys post about what you ate so far the only ones that seem like that post are the ones that are having trouble with protein, water or vitamins. , I don’t have trouble doing those but just cant eat enough for the protein and it be good healthy food. Would have to sacrifice protein items to be able to eat more calories...so what can we do????guess I could eat a couple pieces of toast with apple butter on them along with my protein coffee each day. That just seems to be  a lot of excess calories and it would eliminate some of the protein wouldn’t it? I think so .

     

ANDY::::: that apple butter is so good. I had to take a bite already. Lol if you put yours and Becs side by side don’t know if you could tell them apart...

Well im waiting till it warms up some more to try and walk. I went outside for awhile with Joe and it didn’t take long till my face was so cold and then my legs started getting cold I had to get inside and put the heating pad on them...it just freezes my legs..so badly. I knew you and Bec and Paul and Susan would get along well together. ...she is such a hoot ...she is a wonderful hostess. If I had a bed and breakfast to run I would want her to run it...her guest wouldn’t want to ever leave that is for sure.

   

BEC:::::: isn’t the Handy Dandy Andy great for fixing those pesky computers? Im really glad that he go all the bugs worked out...you didn’t have him to download the instant messenger for you? Shucks.

Hey what is this extra high protein breakfast that you fixed....road kill? Lol

 I am axious to see you in your new hair (do) once you are comfortable with it.

Isnt it funny how much different fresh stuff taste compared to stuff you get in the store, my ex husband and I owned a pecan orchard and those things were so good. And like the oranges you buy at the road side stands in ‘Fla. Oh my gosh there is so much difference in taste. Its not even funny how much better they are. I don’t even like oranges bought in the store but I ate two to three a day last year while we were in Fla and then on ship. . just delishious. ...

Im so glad your doctor visit went well. Hmmm tingling in the ends of fingers and toes? That is weird. ...i sure wish I could have other plastic surgery done besides the tummy tuck because that doesn’t get where I need done at. Lol

Well I need that done too but there are other spots that I would like to have done better.

I have always had a problems with extra fat above my waist line. I think a lot of it is because I am so dang short waisted. There isn’t room to put even a finger between my rib cage and my hip bones.

Maybe one day one of us will come up with a lot of extra money and we can go together and say fix us pretty lol

Your dil sounds like an ex sil of mine when we were young and having babies.... She wasn’t even 5 ft tall and I always said when she was pregnant she always looked like she was a little round ball with tooth picks stuck in it for arms and legs lol

She had big 10 lb babies and with only one or two pains. No fair lol

Lol I understand about your gift being late. Im waiting for mine to come from the mail order company ,,,,I don’t know if it is even going to get here in time to send to her. , isn’t that awful?

I think they might be able to charge him with a terroristic act ...and that can put someone away for quite a while.  So I would call the police and file that already on him...you never know what someone like that is going to do.

Sorry you are sick and not feeling well. So far I have sidestepped this crud , I got my flu shot like I always do. And I take Echenacia 3 caps daily....i swear by it. For the 4 years I have been taking it , everyday no matter what. I haven’t had any bad respiratory stuff. Ive come close and I will double up on the Echenacia and it goes away.  Chance? I don’t think so.

Good Busy Morning Mo...

Well I'll swan Mimi!  ROADKILL!!!  Absolutely NOT! I only use the "freshest" of meats in my recipes.... I'm very picky like that! ~tee hee  I'm trying to "get back to NATURE" if you will!  Going trapping and all!  If you caught what Andy said... it's what I laughed so hard about... he said I didn't have to go very far to get my fresh meat!!! I think it is the warmer climate that causes more activity in the "WILD~life"... if you will!!! I will get a reputation and then I will not have anyone that is willing to stop by! ~ha

Well... yesterday was as busy as the past two weeks have been....made Paul's mom biscuits and "SAUSAGE" gravy, and eggs for breakfast (so wild and I didn't even care I did not have any!!! Yippe Skippee) and then she got on the road home....she works at Cracker Barrel in Springfield (just at the holidays) and needed to be there at 11:00 so she was on the road at 8:00. 

Paul walked with me and we went to the the bridge... I had not done that since walking...two HUGE hills but I did alright... puffed and panted like I was going to have a stroke on one of them but "s'all's good"....

Then we came back and went to town to run a few errands, when we got back Paul drilled 12 holes in a wine bottle project I am working on for his family for Christmas... and helped me make 50 hangers...that took us till evening, I made my recipe for tomorrow and then we watched part of a series we rented and off to bed...

This morning I have a few hours of glue gun work to do before meeting up with Marilyn to go the the BBF party!  I'm simply thrilled about that! and very excited to get to meet all those wonderful ladies...

Boy I hope those that are having health issues are doing better!  I'm so concerned about Jeanine, Debbie D., Janet, her family, Chelle, Sugar, Karen, Sangie, Peggy, Barb, Baby and so many others that are facing health issues and various other things.

Know that I am praying the Lord will meet all of your needs.

Susan ~ I bet you found the Splenda cake!!!  If that's it... that is just fantastic!  If so let me know what I owe you...kay?

I hear the wind blowing hard out there I will have to bundle up today I guess but then it is to be REAL warm I hear.... yesterday I set Paul on the "look out" and I shed my longhandles.... then I tucked them in my back waist band and they swung all the way home!!! ~tee hee  Boy what you can do when you live in the "country" ~tee hee  I tell you I'm in danger of losing all of my civilized ways!!! with shedding my clothes right out in the front of God and everyone and then with my recent new found "trapping" for protein... don't know I will do next! ~ha  Such Bafoonery!

Bec I just gotta spend some time with you, I think we are kindred spirits.
I love making things and I just know you would be good for me.

I made my gazing balls for Christmas, they are beautiful, I am going to my brothers for a party and we are suppose to bring a gag gift, so I have bowling bags, because sometimes when I find the balls they come with a bag, so I am gonna put one of the gazing balls in there and zip it up and put a bow on it, they wont know what they are getting until they open it, what a surprise...lol

Jan the protein has cal. so with a little eating you are most likely getting enough in just don't do liquids all time..let me mama you a little...lol

I do my vials everyday and have for 2 years, I order them on line cant find them anywhere else besides health store and they are to costly there,
I just wish I liked the shakes but they make me sick, I can do one them when it comes time for another I  upchuck...or what ever you call it...lol, we do that so dainty now if you wanna call it that...lol

has anyone saw the snapple peach tea anywhere? the only place I can find it is Walgreen's, its in the bottle and is so good it helps me with my liquids...its $1.19 a bottle there.

Good Morning Guys & Gals...
Thought Id jump on and post while it was quiet...Had my girls last night, so in a bit I know I will be busy.....
Had such a good time with them last night...We went to visit a few people....I bought a few small gifts for a couple of my great nieces and nephews and the girls, Hollie and I went last night and took them to the kids.....Had good visits at both places and Christa got wore out playing with so many kids lol lol.....We even got to eat deer chili at our second stop....MMMMMMM  was it good.

I wish soooo much Joe had been lucky enough to have gotten a deer when he went hunting....I just love deer meat....I like most all wild meat....About all he usually hunts is deer and rabbit....And he's not had much luck with the rabbit the past few years....   Their just not as plentiful down this way as they use to be for some reason.... I really like quail and pheasant but he don't hunt like that so Ive not had any good bird in a while......We have been together almost 10 years and he's not gotten one deer!!!  So I told him next year I am going to go hunting and get my own dang deer... LMBO... Ive not been dear hunting in ages but think I just might try it next year..... Who knows I just might get lucky.

Before I go on Id like to ask yall to pray for Bubba..... He has had blood in his urin for 3-4 days now....He says it's not hurting a whole lot and at first wasn't going to tell anyone because he was afraid he would miss a day of training..... But he did and his Sargent said if it's still going on tomorrow he has to go see the doctor...He said he might have taken a blow to one of his kidneys during one of their combative things they do.... Not sure how serious that can be so please say a lil prayer for him....Thanks..

Well Im in a really good mood this morning....All week Ive been looking forward to Saturday getting here..... Joe and I are going to eat fish with my best friend and her husband tonight.....I have been saying for some time we needed to start making time to get out once in awhile and doing somthing with people other than the kids and grandkids, but we just never seem to get it done.... So earlier this week Chell and I talked about it and we decided we were going to finally do something this weekend... Ive not had fish in a bit so Im looking forward to that too....Then we are going back to their place to plays some games..... Im as excited as if it were my first date....LMBO.  Seriously thats how long it's been since he and I have done much of anything that didn't involve a kid!!! And it's making us way to old way too fast.... Id like for us to do it at least once a month or every other weekend....
Thinking about checking in to bowling....Ive only been 3 times my whole life but I had a blast every time I went....

Jan....Yes taking the flower bulbs to Susie will be just fine....Im going to have a blast this spring working in my yard and planting all the stuff..... Too bad we aren't going that way at the same time...Id love to see you again as well....It was a year in Oct since Brenda and I were up your way last....
It's amazing how time can get away from you like that....The 4th of Dec it it had been 18 months since my WLS!!! Seems like it was just the other day lol lol.....

I text Janet but still have not heard anything from her....I sure hope she posts soon or someone there posts for her or even texts one of us to let us know how she's doing!!

Bec...Guess I missed the post where you said what you got in your trap.... Oh how I would have loved to have been there.....I love the stuff from the wild!.... And wow... you have lost enough to start stripping out in the open.... WOO HOOOO you must be doing good..LMBO!!!!!!!! When we lived in the country I use to go out late at night and go skinny dipping in our pool lol lol.....Joe would have a cow!!! I tried to tell him it wasn't like someone hung around in one of the trees all night just to see if I was going to get naked in the pool!!! And he would say well what if someone comes up??!! I said well there will either be a full moon or I will put my clothes on before I get out! LMBO BIG TIME!!!!!! But he is really backwards and modist.... But I must say Ive never stripped while walking down the road hahahahahahahahaaa..... Aint it wonderful out in the booneys like that?????

Well Im off to get a few things done before da Princess and da Lady Bug hit the floor... I think I got to make LIL PANNIE CAKES this morning lol lol....

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone today. I am trying hard to get my house cleaned before my guests arrive. I hope they won't mind a little dust.  I am glad so many people are coming to the Christmas party. Its gonna be fun.
DH is still having trouble with his sugar levels and the doc called him yesterday to order more tests for a possible aortic aneurysm. He says he isn't going to the doctor anymore because they keep finding things wrong with him. He has to get that cleared up before they can do the scopes to determine if he gets surgery for the acid reflux. One thing at a time. Keep him in your prayers,at least he feels a little better.

Good morning to all another week gone already the ice they are calling for is this monday our christmas party is the next monday i already asked it not to come lol.as my dad would say when it called for bad weather he sent it somewhere else.jan thank's for walking with me and andy yesterday i am trying to walk more and more each time i was soo winded and out of breath. if it is ever too cold for you to walk just let us know we dont want your bones to hurt. tell joe thank's for walking with us too rebel sure liked it.have a good day today jan tell everyone we said hello and give them a big hug for us.

Thanks for asking about Baby. She is doing great. She still sleeps a lot but that is normal after major surgery and I'm sure she is as sore as I am. She's eating better and drinking water so we are happy about that also. She is the sweetest thing. This morning is the first time she has laid somewhere besides on me. She rarely leaves my side. That's OK with me. We are healing together. It's so cute to watch her walk with her cast on her leg. She doesn't let it keep her from getthing where she wants when she does get down. She never complains.

I think I am going to venture out today and try to finish my shopping. My DIL is taking me, I still am not driving. Not that I am scared but, think I shouldn't until all the stiffness, soreness and dizzy spells are gone. I am getting better every day. I get tired really easy.

Ok gang...heres the situation...we have only got 15 replys for the COF party and with the weather conditions they are predicting and all...we are getting a little nervous. I really dont think we should reserve the church for the party with only 15 coming. I already have it reserved and if there are more than that, we can still have it there but WE NEED TO KNOW FOR SURE!!!!

SO, if you plan on coming and you havent let us know, DO IT TODAY!!! Other- wise we may switch and have it at my home. That is only 4 miles from the church. It is just a thought at this point and with the weather...it could be cancelled all together. I sure dont want to think of that as a possibility but could happen so WATCH for post about that. We will call you personally if we have your # or email you personally but please pay close attention...okay?

Well sis, I will see you in a bit! Cant wait for our road trip. We are going to go ahead and go up to Osage Beach and go to the outlet mall for a little bit and then see what we have time for....before the party. We will then follow Suzie home after the party...

Dear Auntie Jan and OH Peeps~

Good Saturday morning to everyone! I only have a second-but I wanted to get on and say THANKS to everyone who has been praying for me and my health. I have to tell you-that this has been MY personal WORST week of my life-and I do NOT EVER want to repeat what I have been through this week. Im not trying to be vague here-Just wanted you to know that I sincerely could feel your prayers-and that they really are helping me. I have some really tough decisions coming up and I am trying so hard to do what I need to do-but I do not have peace in my heart-or my soul-to have the major back surgery right now and I have been praying about that for a very long time. I have learned through experience, that if I do something that I do not have peace about-I regret it-so I am waiting until I do have the peace about it. Pain wise-I have to make a decision and I have to find a doc who doesnt just want to shove more and more pills down my throat, because believe it or not-they just are not working-and so I really dont think I want to keep risking MORE liver damage-to stay on all these meds. I just cant. I have done everything in my own power-to TRY and find someone who will help me, and they either dont want to take the time if I wont agree to the major back surgery OR they want to just send me home with another script. I have done all the therapy and rehabs and such and nothing has worked. I am going to see Uncle Joes pain doc-that gives him the injections in his back-and I am praying he will do the same for me. They wont double up on the meds here-I already checked. My ortho here said that if the first set didnt work, they arent going to work again and that he wouldnt prescribe a double dose? I dunno-but I just want someone to care and TRY......I could even live-very nicely even-at a 5-6 on the pain scale. When I am walking around bawling ALL day long, have goose bumps because the pain is so intense and so on and so forth-I just dont and cant live like that anymore-and to be frank-I dont want to! So, Im angry and I am frustrated-its Christmas and my favorite time of the year and I am so limited on what I can do and its so frustrating to me......ok-enough of my whining!!!

Jon seems to be doing better! I think Sugar was right and that the wood burning has some to do with his coughs and all that gunk!~ So-I have been keeping him out of that room-and he is doing lots better, except for his little leg and knee. They have some wonderful new meds for juvenile arthritis now, so I know that he wont have to suffer like I did, should that end up being his true diagnosis.

This week, Megan has been over every day. She finally told me last night that she was so worried about me and that she didnt want to leave me alone! So, she said that since I looked a "million" times better last night than I have been looking, she may take a break today from coming over-LOL...Ok, Meg! I am not able to go with her to the ALL DAY Lamaze class today, which I really wanted to-but they spend time (lots of time) on the floor and I just CANT...Besides-how would that look if I took Megans cushion and pillows from her? They wouldnt think I was such a good co-coach, would they? LOL....I can picture it now! I feel bad-she is so uncomfortable already-big ol' belly already and 2 months to go.....she is vertically challenged and from experience, I think those who are vertically challenged, have a harder time carrying at the end-when the baby takes up so much more room right there!!! I think it is so adorable, that it just makes me smile-and she is so uncomfortable, makes me feel bad for her-but it sure is cute! That lil' gal-shes gonna be a soccer player or boxer! She kicks and goes nuts for an hour at a time! Its so awesome to watch the belly move around! Love it!!!

We took the boys to Kangaroo Gyms last night-its a HUGE place full of those huge blow up bouncy things-MASSIVE! Anyway, Jon collects "tickets" and when he collects enough of them (20) he can turn them in for a reward.....well, he picked kangaroo gyms and so last night we went. Mike told me to stay home, and its like-why? I feel the same no matter what I do or where I go and besides-I have been in the house all week except one day running errands for 2 hrs. I had cabin fever-anyway-I was glad I went-there were 4 babies there-and all 4 were less than 2 months old. 3 girls, 1 boy! Oh man, I was in my glory!!!! I just wanted to hold all of them!

Well, I need to wrap this up and get the whip cracking on the guys and the livingroom decorating today so I get the house back to some normalcy. I am praying for Jeanine and hope we see an update soon! I have gotten a couple of texts from Cor and she seems to be doing so good!!! YAY!!! I was so glad to see that Baby is back with Barbara-PRAISE GOD for that!!! I hope that everyone stays healthy and doesnt get the "crud" going around! All my love and prayers, Janet

 Hi - not a lot happening here today but I wanted to say hi.  It's been a chaotic week with lots of doctor appointments - pretty good news overall.  I injured my shoulder a couple months ago and it looks like it doesn't need surgery (yay!) and my A1c was seriously improved, I got all kinds of gold stars from my endo.

I'm less than a week out until I have surgery and feeling nervous about it.  I guess I'm having some cold feet and worrying about being able to make and keep these changes.  And I'm having some weather stress.  They're predicting winter weather for next week and I have to drive 1 1/2 hours to get to Springfield.  If the weather is bad I won't have any choice but to cancel and reschedule.
