Hello all..

Another pretty nice day here....a lot of the snow melted and it wasn't too cold or windy.  I think it is just nice to see the sun.  Got most of my shopping wrapped up today...yay!

The Goods...

Outta bed....protein coffee

About 1....protein bar

Snack....1 oz nuts, 6 m&m candies and 2 werther caramels

Dinner....taco meat, black beans & cheese

Not too bad except for the candy and I will probably have a few more tonight if I know me.

How are you all doing?  Anything wonderful?  Remember Jeanine is in the hospital, and Cor is our new loser.  I know ~Angie is having some still unexplained pain, too.  Janet is also having a lot of pain.  And BABY is HOME!!  There are other things also that I'm not able to remember right now....but I will go thru the board again before bed so I can pray better.

Love you all,
Peggy

Hi Cor...

You will get your protein when you heal...so you have to concentrate on healing.  It always takes a while to build up to the grams you need.  I never could tolerate cold water for the first couple of years...I always had to drink it out of the tap.  My tastes changed so much.  And you need to get at least 64 oz of water....you'll end up doing more as time goes on.  So for now just concentrate on walking and sipping, then when you start feeling better you'll be able to get your requirements.  Have you called about the rash?  Let us know.

Love ya and hang in there.

do you have any isopure protein? it is clear and you could be drinking on that?

water you need 64 oz and protein you need at least 60 to 80 grams.  and the pain meds are what is making you itch....dont fret it will go away when you quit taking it you shouldnt be needing that strong of stuff .. try tylenol extra melting tabs ok? the quicker you can get away from the drugs the quicker you will get your head cleared ...as long as you take the drugs you will continue to itch.

you are doing well so continue on your road to health.....

hey angelette!!!
How are u?  I am exhausted tonight.  I taught today and then came home and did a few things and then made chilli for supper.
Cor,  it is important for you to sip sip sip.  I dont thnk you can possibly drink all the water and all the protein that we drink at this point.  Your pouch is only 3 days old and it is very important for your body now to heal.  that is good advice from jan to use a timer.  but dont feel bad at the quanity.  Just every 15 minutes drink.  you will be surprised how much you get down.  I remember how weak I felt the first 5 days.  Also I would report the rash from your med to Margie.  I would not take any more of it if you are broken out in rash.  Please call them.  You are having a reaction to it.
How is your mom and grandma and DH. ?  well got to get tobed as I teach again in the am.
So glad u  are doing great.  If we have not reminded you, please walk also to keep that circulation going.  Can you pm your address.

Hi Cor,

Sounds like the things your are going thru are pretty typical.  I too can not drink cold water very well any more... I drink mine right out of the tap too... but everyone says that will change the further out we get... I am going to be three months before too long and still NO ICE... it hurts.

As Mimi said if you get a timer you will be surprised at how much liquids you really can get it... and I got ALL my protein in from day one by using the isopure (I used the grape flavor, (most I think seem to think it's the most tolerable)... it cost me more but it was well well worth it especially that first week...then I went back to the ON WHEY and other kinds too. I thin****pt up my stamina and was able to exercise more because I got in the protein from the get go...

Anyway...hang in there lady bug you are going to be ok!
