He is home but not doing to well. He is constantly coughing violently but he is no longer spitting up blood. They are going to schedule him for more tests next week. They think he aspirated acid reflux. He may have to have surgery to correct his problem. They also said he is diabetic and are planning more tests for that. His fasting level was in the 300's. He is an active guy and only slightly overweight. Not obese by any standard. No one in his family is diabetic and the doctors are not sure if its type 1 or 2 yet. I am hoping 2. He is using the military system and sometimes they work slow. He is miserable right now.

I thank everyone for your prayers for him. He has always been the tough guy and stayed away from the doctors so when he went to the ER I knew he was bad. At least I am well now so I can take care of him if he will let me. I told him he would have to start eating like me now. I guess I can share my protein with him. I won't miss having sugar in the house. We will learn to eat differentlyy together.

I am still planning to be the Saturday and he will come to. He is not contagious he just sounds bad. Maybe he will be better by then.

Tammy, if he gets to leave at 8am why not come the night before and just stay here?

Susie,

I'm so sorry your husband is so sick.

Will sure be praying that he gets better just real soon!

I'm sure sorry about the diabetes too boy that's tough!  Will be praying it is not type 1 and he will be able to control it with just his diet.  Better yet that the Lord will just plain ole heal him of it!

Can't wait to see you on Saturday if I can work it out with Marilyn.

Susie that is so sweet of you to open you home to us like that....Im afraid it might be a imposition though.....I will have my grand daughter with me because her father lives a hour or so from Ft.Leonard Wood and is meeting me to pick her up..Well that is if she will go with him...She is looking so forward to seeing her Bubba that we don't even know if she will go with him or not...We may  be hanging around the area for a bit so he can visit with her....And I won't be able to leave till Hollie (Bub's Fiance) to get out of school before we could leave and we probably wouldn't make it up that way till between 8-9 and then having to get up early to get around to go pick up Bubba....That woud be alot to ask someone to put up with lol...

But I may be coming by myself when I take him back the 2nd and maybe we can work out something for a longer visit then if that would be ok with you....

Again...Thank you so very much!!...Luv & Hugs...Tammy~ammy
