You're invited!
As many of you already know....Bec will be coming to KC for her two month check up with Dr. Hoehn on November 19 and there was a lot of talk on the board about a bunch heading this way to meet with her, have lunch, have a clothing exchange and do some shopping.
That being said, Bec & I have put our heads together and would like to extend an official invitation to meet at my house for lunch and the clothing exchange. I am planning on making a few WLS friendly dishes and I'm sure that others are bringing yummy things, too.
So here is the OFFICIAL INVITE!
Please come to my house on November 19 for a morning of meeting, greeting and a little eating! After that, I have directions to a shopping area that has tons of shops that you can head to for the fun stuff. I know that Bec's appointment is later in the afternoon so you should have tons of time together. My idea is that everybody meet here first thing, then we can visit, try on clothes and eat before you head out for the rest of the day. So whenever you hit town, head this way!
If you would like to come, please just PM me with your email address and I will send you my address, phone number and general directions to get here. I am 3 miles east of the intersection of 58 & 71 Hwys. Very easy to get to and then shopping is only about 15 miles east of here. I also have a list of the shops at that location if you would like. I know Sugar is planning on coming with her van so maybe a bunch of you could carpool.
Bec & I are looking forward to meeting each other and also those who are heading this way, so let me know if you're coming and I will get you the directions.
