Knitted Coat on Profile!

For what it is worth, my 3rd knit project  is on my profile. I think my grandaughter Morgan is happy with it. It reminds me of Dolly Parton's "Coat of Many Colors"......LOL

that is so cute, the granddaughter is adorable and the sweater is really cute too...she will have lots of good memories of grandma knitting that for her....

Thanks Jan for the compliment on both Morgan and her coat. My best memories of my childhood is my Great Grandma and my time with her. If I am just a tiny bit like her I know my grandchildren will be happy adults!

It's worth alot!  You did a fantastic job on that!  and it is only your third project!  You did good!  It's beautiful!

Thank you so much Becky....It only took a couple of weeks to finish. Of course when I start a project I get obsessed.  LOL I have now begun a lap blanket for my Mother N Law who is in a nursing home. She just turned 89 last week.

Oh, Barb...I'm too old but I want to be your granddaughter.  First off, she is absolutely beautiful and I LOVE the coat.  What a precious gift...she'll treasure it a lifetime.  And "Coat of Many Colors" was one of my favorite songs growing up...thanks for posting this.  Beautiful.

Thank you so much! Morgan just beams when she puts it on. She picked out the yarn herself and she just wants to wear it all the time. I'm sure it will go to school on Monday. LOL     It may end up a show and tell on Friday....thats when you know you have done a good job!
