Anyone take Cymbalta?

I read on the fibro forum that after surgery Cymbalta can cause abdominal pain. Is that true for any of you?

Can't help ya with the abdominal pains being causes by cymbalta,But i was on paxil for 7 yrs Dr took me off put me on cymbalta and within 3 weeks i was wanting to rip peoples heads off so he switched me back to paxil.My hubby is a very lucky man LOL. That cymbalta is some nasty wicked stuff.

Sorry you had such a rough time w/ it. Cymbalta has been a real lifesaver for me. Both in relieving my depression and in easing my Fibro pain. Thank goodness you caught it and got off it, though.

Hi, Deb:

I've been Cymbalta for about 2 years now. I started taking it shortly before my surgery and am still taking it. I haven't had trouble with abdominal pain.

Thanks for relieving my worry. I'd have to think twice about having the surgery if I had to give up my Cymbalta after what it has done for my depression and fibro.

I have been taking it a little over 2 years now. i take it for depression and also for my neuropothy in my feet. When I miss a cpl doses boy I can sure tell! I have never had issues with it post op.
