WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Sure has been cloudy and cool today hasn't it? I put a lot of my tropicals in the greenhouse tonight. Will have to take them out in the morning, because Joe is finally finishing up my greenhouse inside to try and help keep the heat in there during the winter. He got the back wall done today so he should be able to get the rest of it done tomorrow.
Saturday we are going to get some straw so we will be ready to cover stuff up...and I am going to dig some of the elephant ears up so I hopefully will be able to bring all of you that want them some...
I also have some pots of chives too if anyone would like to have some chives to plant so you can have fresh chives....they taste so good in soups and things, I use to use them on baked potatoes but don't have those anymore...just baked sweet potatoes and I don't think they would taste good on them lol
I will have the E.Es probably in a big box so bring you a sack to carry them home in....then you can read online about how to keep them over the winter or go ahead and plant them. And cover them with about 6 inches of straw....if you don't they will freeze, well I guess they will I had two of them around my pond and forgot and didn't cover them at all last year and they came up just fine...so who knows. But to be safe cover them.....
I am strictly on my laptop now...my son took the desktop and is wiping it clean and will re install all of the programs that need to be there. And im going to give it to Michele for Christmas....Not sure what I will give my son and other daughter...they sure don't need computers. Lol
Is anyone else having trouble sending messages on the private message thingy?
I have to change the editor to text everytime to get even the post on the OH site to work?



ANDY::::: I will be up and ready to go walking by 8am in the morning....hopefully, if it is real cold maybe we need to set it for 9 lol...will have to walk fast to keep warm....
Oh was going to tell you that my granddaughter got a reg alltell contract now without any deposit,,,they told them that it was because of the merger...that they are not doing the deposit right now. So you might check with them about that., I know I really am liking this internet card.. it is really cool...and is fast too.
Well was your blood pressure ok today? What about your weight , did you lose what you had gained in the hospital??
What could I sell on e bay? The modems? Sure wouldn't want to ship that dish lol .



SUZIE::::::: more than likely the headache is from no carbs, they are so addicting, Hope today has gone better than yesterday... will be a long two weeks if it hasn't.. usually after about 3 or 4 days the worst Is over. So just hang in there sweetie,,,remember to keep your eyes on the prize.....it really is worth it.

Micheles job is going really good. And so far anyway her loses of a soon to be ex hasn't went back over there bothering her. We know one of his cousins and he said that he was looking at 10 to 20 years,,, we thihk it might be from the charges that he had in Stone county of Arkansas,we think it might have been some big time drug charges or in poss of Meth or something anyway hope he gets all of it.

Sorry I didn't answer you about the restaurant after the meeting. Yes we went across the street to the Belgium pancake house last month...but their service was really slow and I thought my food at least was cold, so we will see where everyone wants to go this time. Back to the village inn or across the street to the waffle house? Let me know what or which one everyone....

I might do that next spring,,,take lots of starts of plants and such to the farmers market....
I could start an awful lot of things. Lol always been good at starting things....lol

You really need to see Sugar about stuff for a wedding , she has tons of it....
Wow you are going to have your whole family with you will be great....Im so glad that things are going well again for you and Kala.....no matter how you did or do feel about the wedding or the guy you have to let them know that you love them and you are there for them...I think you have done great keeping that all open with them.....hope you can stay after the meeting for awhile for sure...

So sorry to hear the Waffle house was slow. They were great at noon when our group went and the service was wonderful and so was the food..they must not be as efficient in the evenings. I dont care where we go, anyplace is fine with me.

I am really looking forward to the 19th. Will you come up and spend the night before with me or what? We will need to get an early start.

My back always hurts when Ive been on my feet that long. 8 hours on concrete floors with no breaks or sitting is too much. I had to do all the prep work and cooking on Thursday and then more cooking and reheating and decorating and set up yesterday morning. Started at 8:30 and got home around 3:30 yesterday so it wasnt quite as long.

I think I will go to the pool this AM and work out and then use the hot tub and soak for a bit. Then I have to get out to my supply/craft room and start working on putting some order to it. It is turned upside down and I cant find anything in there. I think I will cull some things and maybe put them out for a garage sale. I think Mel is wanting to have one next weekend.

I told Renee that I wanted to talk to her about wedding stuff. I dont remember when she said they were getting married. My friend Sherry is getting hitched next month, I think the weekend after Thanksgiving. So she will be borrowing alot of my stuff.

Im going to bring the wallpaper Monday night for Shiela in case she comes so she can see if she even wants it. She might not like it after she sees it. I know she wont be hanging it for awhile! OUCH! I feel so bad for how bad she must be hurting.

So the girly that everyone is talking about sending mean messages is it the same one I got one from? What is the deal?? Oh well, Im like you...I'll let others deal with her, not me! LOL! Sad tho if you think about it. All that anger must be eating her up inside or something. I guess Janet is right, we should be praying for her.

wow it was COLD yesterday i couldnt get warm no matter what...this lil elec heater wasnt cutting it... got wood stove hooked up late last nite finally but wood was wet   lol did no me no good...

Well I made it thru day two. I have growling in my stomach again this morning and still have the headache.  I have discovered something to make the slim fast taste better. Its Capella Flavor Drops. They have fifty flavors. I got my order yesterday and it makes a difference. Jan , I wouldn't mind having a few EE if you have extra.I still want the mimosa trees too if you still have them. I am planning to come to the meeting Monday night. If I can find  you guys. I know very little about Springfield but I have been there.  I really want to meet everyone.
I sure hope this liquid diet pays off on the scale and the liver. I know some doctors do not require it but I can see why they should. I watched a Big Medicine show last night and it showed this guys liver during surgery and he did the diet prior  and his liver shrank and they said it looked great. He had very little pain after surgery so I am thinking that has something to do with it. I am not going to take any chances.
I hope everyone has a great Saturday. I had frost on my deck this morning. The cold is coming.

Just a quick post.  DH and I are off to see if we can find some tile I like that will match our new granite counter tops. 

Bec is the greatest hostess in the world!  I must tell you it's been a long time since I was treated as kindly or warmly as spending those two days with that precious lady and her hubby!  She was busy as a bee.  She made the most wonderful food!!  I will post later about that.  (Hubby is waiting on me so we can leave.)  She even made my hubby a homemade cherry cheesecake!  Bec - he ate 1/3 of it as well last night!  He says it's the best cherry cheesecake he has ever had!  Thank you so much!

Well, I gotta scoot.  Will give you all an update when we get home or maybe tomorrow.  We have a Sunday School picnic this afternoon.  I may be too tired to post tonight.  Dr. H said my Ferritin level is about 1/2 of what they want it to be.  My PCP thought it was okay.  Apparently it is for Non Gastric Bypass patients, however, should be a lot higher for us.  Needless to say, I gotta start paying attention to my own labs.  I'm going to email Margie and ask her exactly what all the levels should be!  Dr. H is going to write my PCP a letter explaining it.  Anyways, he put me on a a once daily medication called Repliva.  It's suppose to raise your ferritin level.  Dr. H said most people feel 100% better within the first week of taking it. I hope so!

Good Morning Jan and Everyone.
Holy crap batman it is cold out there this morning.Good thing i brought my flowers in last night.
Nikki is laying in bed watching Snow White coughing her poor little head off. She coughed all night long. I gave her cough med but didn't help her any.She is sounding hoarse also.Makes my heart sad when there is nothing i can do for her but comfort her and love her.
Gail and I will be putting up more Christmas yard stuff today. The wood cut outs. We have some really cute ones.
Will be going to our oldest sons for supper tonight.DIL is making lasagna. Gail loves the stuff. I'm gonna try and remember to take the digital camera and take a pic of son in his uniform. He looks all professional in it LOL. I wanna show him off to ya'll lol.

Susie- Hope you have a good day today with the diet. It does pay off .I lost 18lbs on it and it helps them to be able to work around your liver. It's hard to do But i know you can do it.

Sheila- Glad you got the protein. Did you like it?
 
Janet- How was the field trip? Hope you are doing good and your pain is better.

Bec- How did the apple butter/Sauce turn out? Sure sounds yummy.Hope your pain is better and your doing great.

Good Morning ladies and gentlemen!!! HUGS!!!!!!

I don't have long today, the list is in full swing, hubby is just soooo thrilled, NOT!!!!

I think I have the pantry all in line now for a few weeks for hubby, putting a few things in the freezer this week for him too, maybe he wont starve. Think he is afraid he like Bec's hubby, he will never have a good cook living in his house again. I asked him would he still love me if that happened he said so pitifully  after a long sad pause of course baby!! hahahaha so sad.


I can NOT wait till Monday hubby and I both are coming and VERY excited!!! I will be one busy hugger sounds like so many are coming, I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED, oh did i say that already haha!!


I still wanna go party with Sugar and her folks too, wow that sounds like fun!! I hope they all have a blast, tho with all you have planned I cant see how they could not have fun!!

I think the baked ricotta looks good saw egg-face had a recipe for that as well, have it printed off for later, I am like Debs DH i love lasagna and that would be a nice fix hehe!!

Well hubby is glaring at me, he says break time is over LOL!! for two months I have been asking him to help me get some things done, well last night I cracked the whip, we are getting down to the wire LOL, so I guess he is cracking it on me now haha!!!

Oh Jan If you have extra I would LOVE LOVE some chives, I have been wanting to start a herb garden, I have a few things like mint and oragano planted so far oh and rosemary LOVE it on chicken!!
