Eatin' good....IT'S FRIDAY

Evening, all...

Busy day today, but am so glad it's over.  Had a really good eating day for me so I'm hoping I can keep it up.

Out of bed...coffee.....

Breakfast....protein bar

Lunch....1 oz deli turkey, 2 dill spears, 1/2 med tomato

Snack....protein bar

Dinner....Applebee's...one the WW entree's minus the bun,
   1/2 chicken breast w/slice tomato and portabello mushrooms and fruit.  Total calories would've been 390 but I nixed the bun so it ended up being a good choice.  Ended up really full tho.

Total calories were around 1000, about 15 g fat, 50 carbs, 50 protein.  Got most of my water and vitamins and managed to cardio for 25 minutes and then strength train for 40 minutes.  I'm tired but I really need some more water.

How did you all do?

Outta Bed-Coffee with hazelnut creamer

Breakfast-EAS carb control shake 17 grams protein

Snack- SF popsicle

Dinner- 1/4 of Lean Cuisine french bread pizza  4grams protein

Snack-Very Cherry protein nectar 46grams

Supper- Eas shake 17 grams protein

 All Vitamines in. so far 2 calcium pills down 1 more to go.Fluids in.

Hey girlie...

Looks like you tried to eat a little today.  Good for you.  As sick as food makes you I'm excited to see you try.  I really hope you start feeling better.  And good job on the vitamins and fluids.  Have a good weekend.

Thank you. I was really scared to even try it,but am so tired of soup LOL. I chewed it to mush and it went ok.But didn't push my luck with anything else solid today.

Well lets see

Breakfast      protein drink

snack             protein bar

lunch              1/2 cup cottage cheese

supper            1/2 cup 16 bean soup

fluid intake looks pretty good today  62 oz juice ( I drink very little plain water as it makes my pouch hurt. Don't know why that is.

protein is 62 grams for today...

Ooooo, 16 bean soup sounds really good.  I'm surprised that juice doesn't make you dump, I've never even tried it.  Do you water it down?  And yep, water hurt my pouch too, especially if it was cold.  I had to drink it room temperature for almost 2 years.  I can drink it cold, now, but not with ice.  Ick.  Great job on your protein. Have a great rest of the night.

I use 3 oz water and 3 oz 100% juice then fill it with ice and use my magic bullet and make a slushie. I am probably not even getting that much juice in but it gives it a little flavor. . I have to have everything  I drin**** cold.  Isn't it funny how this affects everyone different....

I figured you probably watered it down, and you adding the ice adds a little more water.  I bet you would be in a big ball of pain if you drank that much juice!  And it is funny how the surgery affects everyone, I cannot STAND anything artificially fruit flavored....popsicles, jello, sf koolaid or crystal lite or any of the fruit flavored protein drinks....ick, makes me want to lose it.  I can finally stand real fruit, but only in small amounts.  It is so strange....and I so miss black cherry koolaid, but no way am I going to try it.  The smell alone makes me want to yarp.

Here's what I ate:

Breakfast: 2 slices cinnamon toast with cruncy peanut butter

Lunch: Stuffed spud soup w/half a ciabbatta roll (roll was disappointing in taste )

Snack: Mocha creme (1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 tsp cocoa, 1/4 tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp mocha peppermint coffeemate blended in magic bullet....topped with sf cool whip and 1 tbsp of mini chocolate chips)  SO GOOD

Supper: 3 oz chicken, 1/4 cup stuffing, 1/4 cup carrots, 1/4 cup baked beans.

Dessert: 1/2 cup Carb Comfort Butter Pecan ice cream (from Schwann's) I love this stuff!!!

Once again I failed to log in my stats in fit day. Hopefully today will be a better day.
