WHATS HAPPENING FRIDAY
Went to the hematologists today and he said he didn’t think it was really low enough to be much of anything and if it were it was early stage…so he ordered a bunch more blood test, knew he would don’t know why he didn’t have be do them before comeing in to see him…then he would have the results and could have sent me on my merry old way.
Oh well like I said before they want to charge medicare as much as they can I guess.
Went to get new phones and only I could get a new one,,,Joes contract wont allow him to till sept of next …bummer. Boy they have some fancy ones in there that is for sure.
This one I think does everything but wash windows.
I also got the internet card to use and see if I like it…they said I could return itin 15 days and if I don’t like it will take it back off my bill…it is 60 a month but t hat is what I pay now for satellite the girl that it was better than satellite sure hope so….so I may have satellite equipment for sale soon lol I have just got to get it out of the box and try it….
Stopped by the granddaughters to take the little bed to them and to pick up all of that tulle, found out why she bought it that way, it was packaged in that quanity…and that is all they had, Janet I was thinking about that canopy like that to…when she saw me today she just started running as fast as she could and threw herself on me ,saying mimi, mimi, and then got lots of kisses. But then she got madat me when I had to leave. She wanted to go too. I have got

Bought a brunch of insulation to use in the bottom portion of my greenhouse. Trying to make it so it will stay warmer in there and maybe not use so much elect. This year.
We bought a new infra red heater for out there and it is suppose to use half the elect. Of normal heaters so we will see, if it works we will be buying a bigger one for our house and not use the central so much…
BARBARA S::::: so how did the granddaughter like the new coat?? Pictures? You know I guess you need to knit your Baby a couple of sweaters and coats too. I bet she would love them…Ask Renee about spoiling doggies with clothes. Lol
I know I speak for most everyone of us too we all love you as much as you love us…you are always there …so you take care of yourself…

Boy if I had a way of doing it could make a lot of money to see each bulb I have for 8 dollars. Wow. Lol
Let me get my beds all ready for winter and I will be up to work on yours for you….we can bundle up , this kind of weather feels good working outsI just know there is someone down in that area that should be able to pick the boys up….do you not know anyone down there ? go to them and ask…..

Sounds like you have been working in the yard of your new house a lot.
Oh probably the reason that some of the mums are looking the worse for wear, is that some bloom out a whole lot earlier than others and by the time some are just looking good some of the others will almost be done. Don’t worry ,,,you can delay blooming time next year by pinching the plant back off the ones that are done blooming already…just

How old are these kids? And the one that showed himself to her? That is horrible how awful kids are or at least some of them are. Then I see kids like Becs girls and Debbies Boys and I wonder??????? Seems maybe the parents have to care first and foremost don’t you think? Just thank God that you are doing ok too.

Woke up and its pouring rain out and COLD, went to let the dogs out and you can barely see your breathe, guess summer is gone til next year. Guess this weekend or early next week its spose to get down to 30, eeekkk not ready for this weather yet lol.
This morning I have an appt with my pcp just a follow up check on my b/p, hopefully that wont take long, this is the last appt for a couple weeks now, thank goodness, really gettin tired of running around, even tho gas is cheaper right now it still adds up.
Jan my appt is for 9am, I would love to walk when we get home if your up to it, well if its not raining, I really need to get back on the regular walk schedule. Did ya get the wireless card hooked up? I know you will like that alot better then satelite, the speed will be 3 times as fast and should be a more stable connection, hopefully next year I can save up enough to get one, since we dont have a contract with alltel we have to put up a deposit, i wanna save enough to do that. If you decide to keep it you can sell your satelite stuff on ebay, there is always someone looking for that type of equipment.
I know what you mean about doctors charging medicare, i've started getting the statements from my hospital stay, the things they charge for and the amounts are utterly rediculous.

You don't know how it helps me come on here and see how you all are doing. So many of you are so busy! Yikes, wears me out!
I need to go help Aunt Margie today do laundry and maybe take her to the store. She went down the basement stairs the other day (bad, bad, bad) but didn't fall thank God. My husband about whupped her. She has a tendency to fall and with her arm immobilized she can't catch herself. Those stairs are bad news and she could die if she fell down them. Independant woman! But she's been alone for 50+ years so she's used to doing things herself.
Talked to a bunch of window people yesterday and HOLY COW can they be expensive! Can you believe one group wanted $14,000 for 10 windows!!!!! Sorry, there's the door, you can leave. I want to keep out the cold and improve the resale but I'm not going to sell an arm and leg to do it! (Course I would lose some weight if I did....hmmmm....) We had one more salesman last night and he's the one we chose. The windows are special order tho, so it will probably be after Christmas. That's good, I decorate a lot for the holidays and I don't want to have to move it all for installation.
I'm really looking forward to those of you who are going to get to come the 19th. I want everybody (I mean everybody!) but so many of you live so far away. Angy's map has really made sense to where most of you live. I appreciate her hard work. I also have a list of stores that are in that shopping area I mentioned. I will try to post a true invitation and such in a few days.

Good Friday morning to you all....Im like Andy, I cant believe its the end of the week again AND I cant believe its the end of October either!! Where the heck did this year go? And WHY do people say time flies when your having fun because this year has been FAR FROM FUN!
Today is Cindy H's back surgery in Columbia-please pray for a safe surgery and speedy recovery. Thanks peeps!
For some reason, Im not sure WHY......But, I feel a little better, emotionally. Wish I could say the same for the physical, but thank goodness I have pain meds or I wouldnt make it, thats for sure.
Today is our big field trip. It rained HARD here most of the night and so we wont be laying our checkered tablecloth out on the ground and doing our picnic, but I DID finally come up with a plan and I am going to take the boys to the park in Joplin and we will do our picnic in one of the covered shelter/picnic areas, after we hit the Audobon Center. Megan asked me if she could join us and I said-Heck yah-the more the merrier.....The boys are getting ready to make Rice Krispy treats to take with us and here in a bit, I will get the rest of our stuff together and away we'll go! They will do their chores while Im prepping the picnic basket, so I wont have to come home to a messy house-thats a huge pet peeve of mine-coming home to a messy house.....
I have a couple of errands to run in town as well....still need to get to the 2nd hand shops to see if I can get the rest of Darrels costume (Im positive I will)...and then I can "tweek" it this weekend. Then I have to go get my meds from the pharmacy and while Im there-get my medical records from my ER visit and urgent care-my doc has requested it 3 times now-and they STILL havent gotten anything-so since I am going to be at the hospital (I use the hospital pharmacy for my meds)-I will just pick them up and take them with me to the appt. I also have to go to Stephs school for a parent/teacher conference and pick up her report card and she will get extra credit if I go-so I have to get that done too. Im so happy for her-her art is on display at the Bridge-through the Odyssey company. They chose 10 art peices PER senior classes at different schools in the 4 state area-and hers is one of them from her high school!!! Isnt that AWESOME? I am so freaking happy for her and proud of her. I think she is even happy with herself right now! PLUS-MAJOR MAJOR GOOD NEWS~SHE called to get back into counseling AND she even said that she is WILLING to go on meds IF the counselor thought she would need it. Due to her age-she can now go to someone other than who she HAD to see before-because now they consider her an adult. Man-that was just awesome to hear that-and I started to cry while I was thanking God for working in Stephanies life-and for answering my prayers! Dont get me wrong, I dont think meds are ALWAYS the Answer, but in her case-there is SOMETHING, I know-that WILL help her out with her bi-polar disorder and OCC or whatever that is-and her severe anxiety....so-it would be so wonderful for her to be able to FEEL good about herself and not so weird, as she calls it-all the time....I am ALL for it, and WILL help her any way that I can-because she is NOW helping herself! So-THANKS TO MY OH FAMILY PRAYER WARRIORS-YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!!!
The head still smarts like heck. I HAVE to wash my hair today (bet that will hurt)...I hate feeling dirty, ecspically since I lost all the weight...when I was real big, no matter what- I ALWAYS felt dirty-mainly because I would sweat-just walking across the kitchen floor, you know? Plus, I just never felt like I could totally get clean because I was so big and when I showered (daily) I would be sweating and feel gross before I even stepped out of the shower....EEWWW! So, NOW I love that nice, crisp, clean feeling-LOL!
Well, Im gonna get my responses done and get my day started. I hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend.....
**Jan-so we STILL dont have results-your right, doesnt make sense to "see" you JUST to hand you orders-when you could of AND would have gladly gone and picked them up and then went for the blood tests-and then he would only had had to see you that one time and had everything in front of him-HOW IRRITATING!!!! Well, we will just keep on praying-Im sure your okay-your too onery for anything to happen-LOL.....
Joe still doing alright? Hows Micheles job going for her and has there been any news on the loser and his court stuff? Hope they lock his drunk butt up and throw away the key!!!
Oh-the person that was messaging me, is not the one who made comments about home schooling Jon. All the rest of the things I spoke of, but not Jon. I was pretty upset at the fact that one person can be so hateful to so many veterans on here and have some pretty big nerve to POST AND ASK for advice and POST for prayer....and then turn around and chew all 4 of our butts IF she didnt get the answer she "wanted or liked" But, Like I said-I cannot and Will not sit and stroke and pet and sugar coat......Thats NOT me OR most of us on the board....and I truly believe that IF you are going to go through with this life saving and life long process-you HAVE to be serious and you HAVE to be WILLING to make changes and if your not, well then.....Im sorry, but you will pay for it sooner or later! If you dont want to hear what we have to say about something-DONT ASK! LOL.....its simple! Its okay. Im not wasting anymore time even letting her get to me, because obviously, we cant be the support that she needs and one day, hopefully, she will find that somewhere... All we can do-is pray for her, right?
I really, really hope to go Monday! I NEED my COF FIX in a BAD WAY!!!! BAD WAY!!!! LOL-so...you never have answered me-did you guys change restaurants or no-or do you just not go out afterwards anymore? Let me know......
Thanks for the advice on the flowers. I WILL get them planted this weekend with Darrel and Jons help. They can dig and I will put the bulbs in. We have other yard and outside stuff to do anyway-may as well get those done too. We are also going to get the straw/hay put around the doghouse and in the dog house and then get insulation put in the laundry room around the piping in there and then we are going to put plastic on the bedroom windows to help with the heating and such. So-THANKS for the info-my plant expert!!! I will be getting a butterfly bush-when I have the extra money.....so-it may have to wait till the holidays are over-LOL....
No kidding you could make some money-I think its a really good idea-you know, Im NOT sure if you have a farmers market or anything in a nearby town-BUT....Around here, you can purchase plants and flowers at them-its definitely something you COULD do and you would be good at!!! Think about it. The elephant ears are so expensive-so could you imagine how much you could get for big ones???? Big old pretty ones-and Mums too? Maybe we have something going there, huh? I also keep forgetting to talk to you about Windemere-Man, that place is PERFECT for our reunion next year....as soon as things settle down, we will get together and get this thing all planned out-between 3-4 people, we can delegate responsibilities so one person isnt doing everything AND I think we will all enjoy it so much more!! Personally, I cant wait! LOL....You said you have stayed there before? With a group OR just your family? What did you think about the facilities and is there water near by for people to fish if they want? I didnt open all of the pics yet-because my dial up is so slow and such for downloading them TO SEE them-so....I had only gotten a couple open and didnt see any water-so just wondered.
Maybe you hadnt seen me ask yet-but did you ever see my post to you (a couple of times) about like YMCA and their after school programs and how they DO supply transportation sometimes and they even have financial assistance IF Rach qualifies.... Wasnt sure how far from a Y you are-but thought it may be worth a shot.....Anyway-just something to think about. Have you thought about posting something in the office at the school OR talking to one of the school counselors OR teachers that the grandkids are in their rooms-because sometimes they KNOW what parent works or stays home and such-but maybe an ad on the bulletin board in the office or ? would bring you someone? Just an idea.
**Andy-I dont blame you for not wanting surgery again right now....I will continue to pray for you guys! Stay warm on the walk....I dont want to have to start using the heat either-its Propane and its SO EXPENSIVE right now and our fireplace is NOT ducted and we cannot duct it-so, unfortunately, it ONLY really heats up the adult livingroom and kitchen.....its the pits-Im just hoping this winter wont be as bad because it costs sooooo much to heat this house!

Hey all, sis when do you get the other tests done? It is crazy they put this off until now and then not know anything! ugh!
Janet, Windemere is a great place right on Lake of the Ozarks in a quiet cove up there. Any of the cabins I think you can see the water from...I stayed there with a ladies retreat once and then Rick and I went up there and stayed once on our own. There is lots to do there and it is really nice!
As far as the kids school, it is a private Christian school held at thier church out in the country and we are no where near a YMCA, and they dont have different teachers or councelors...the people of the church volunteer there and help out. The kids basically do a home school program and set thier own goals etc. It is a great school but everyone knows Chelle and knows the situation so there just isnt anyone to do it...KEEP Praying!!lol!
The lunch today went great and we had another great time and good food and some hilarious entertainment. My friend Mary was the "FAT LADY" at the end of the opera and she came out and talked german accent and then sang them a song...it was soooo funny...
I gotta go and get on a heat pad, my back is killing me!

I wish I could get warmed up, I so hate winter, and I'm never ready for it.
Tiff's doctor visit didn't go all that good yesterday and she has to get more test ran. She has an over active bladder and the doctor said it wasn't normal for someone her age to have that problem, so she wants to run more test to see whats going on.
I bought Kala and Lee a couple thing's for the wedding (glasses and guest-book) to show them I'm willing to work on thing's. I bought Kala's wedding dress a couple years back, we found it and she was going to wear it as a prom dress but changed her mind. We went looking yesterday for Tiff and Tasha's dresses but didn't find anything we liked, so when we come to the meeting Monday we will look in Springfield. I'm afraid to even look for anything for me to wear yet I don't want to get something to big or to small. Kala has left the style of dress up to Tiff, she told me it didn't matter if i wore a dress or nice pants as long as I'm comfortable, so I haven't really made my mind up yet I figure I will know the outfit when I see it.
I'm still thanking God and all of you for your prayers. I'm so happy we are talking again. I think Kala is having a hard time seeing herself as an adult around me, I sure hope she finds her groove.
I can't wait to see you all Monday, so much has happened since the last time I was at a meeting, and I'm so excited I will have the girls and Lee with me. I'm not sure we will be able to stay after because of school, but we are going to try.
