Evening all.....hope I don't start this too late.    Had a pretty good eating day, maybe a little high in fat, I need to start figuring out totals with fitday.com or thedailyplate.com.

Out of bed....Coffee....mmmm

Breakfast...Hi protein cereal w/ NSA yogurt

Lunch....my favorite Mexican restaurant (w/hubby)
Huevos con Chorizo  (scrambled eggs w/sausage) & refried beans, some chips and white cheese dip.  Couldn't eat a much, maybe 1/3 cup total, got really full quick

Snack...5 minute mug cake - sugarfree of course,  too much, tho, made my pouch kinda grumbly, probably won't try that one again.

Dinner...slice of pizza (maybe, haven't decided yet)

Got in all my water and vitamins and did a workout here at home with my new fitness ball and DVD.  Back to the gym in the morning.

How did the rest of you do today?

Hugs,
Peggy

I tried doing a post like this and it lasted about a week and fizzed out.  Good luck, I too thought it was a good idea but I think people get busy with their new life and just don't have time to keep track of what they eat daily.....

I totally understand....we'll just have to see what happens.  I just know that I need some support and I'm hoping this accountability will help me, and maybe a few others. I have noticed the farther I get out the more I have to keep track since those old demons keep coming back.   I must have missed it when you did it or I would have joined in.  Thanks.....

Do you find that it's either one or the other?  I mean, I either do great on protein and stink on water or great on water and stink on protein.  If I manage to get both numbers I'm usually so stuffed I ache by the end of the night!

I think you did well for not being home all day, tho.  It seems like everytime I ate I got queasy....think I'm ready to get this gall bladder out.

I really have a hard time eating. It seems I am not hungry and usually have to remind myself to eat.

breakfast-- protein drink

snack--       palm full of sunflower kernels

lunch--protein drink

supper--1/2 cup cottage cheese with a few nuts and raisins mixed in

snack--light no sugar added Blue Bunny yogurt--very good

I am 3 1/2 mo post op. This doesn't look like very much food. I usually get in my protein but I am not always getting in my fluids. I sip all the time but I still come up short...will try to do better...

Beverly,

I think this looks pretty good for 3 1/2 months out.  At least you're working on getting the protein and water, good for you!  It will come easier the further out you get.  Way to go!

Glad to see this post. Um, I'm a little behind so here's what I had yesterday.

Breakfast: Apples and cream (whipped cottage cheese and splenda, topped with apples and pears sauteed in 1 tbp butter, cinnamon, topped with sf cool whip)  YUM

Snack: Protein coffee (decaf coffee with cappuccinno nectar)

Lunch: Small chili from Wendy's and 1 chicken nugget

Snack: 4 chicken nuggets (leftover from lunch) Probably a not-so-good choice

Supper: Stuffed spud soup 1/2 cup.  1 oz cheddar, 2 crackers

I didn't have time to log it into fitday to get the stats. I was in class all day and then had parent-teacher conferences last night.

10 MORE POUNDS TILL MY MASSAGE!!!

Wow, you're breakfast looks absolutely wonderful.  I'm drooling!  I understand the chicken nuggets... they sometimes go down so easy yet are loaded with crud we don't need.  (I'm so guilty for grabbing stuff when I'm on the run, you would think I would plan ahead but sometimes I forget.)  But I think it's really hard to make a good choice when you are as busy as you!   Thanks for your honesty, tho, and you know you will make better choices today!
