Oh I hope you can squeeze away a bunch!!  Yes, I called Dr H and Margie called in an antibiotic for me.  I feel much better about that.  They still aren't pretty but they look better! I take them for 10 days so I just know that will help.  I am going to Columbia tomorrow for the weekend.  I was going anyway, but the kids called and asked if I would watch Maddie Saturday. (Of course i said "no", right?)  OF course I will.  She is not feeling well.  I think she just needs her Grandma to hold her all day.  That would make her feel better don't you think?  I know it will make me feel better!

STEP AWAY FROM THE SCALE!!!    Your body is playing catchup.  Did you measure yourself before surgery?  Even if you're not losing pounds, you're losing inches.  And lookin' mighty fine, I might add.

Dear Lynette,

First of all-CONGRATS on 35# that are GONE FOREVER....great feeling, huh? Let me tell you-stalls ARE going to happen-they STINK, thats for sure-but you WILL experience them on this journey. There is NO WAY around them.....You already got really good advice. You can TRY and change it up with your protein and your excercise routine...but, more than likely a few things are going on right now and thats not going to change anything-UNTIL YOUR BODY IS READY-LOL.....Now-whats happening to it-Jeanine IS correct-its catching up.....and until its ready-that scale isnt going to move! I remember being 6 weeks out-and I stalled for 21 days!!! I FREAKED OUT~But.....its just a "sucky" part of this journey... HOWEVER-you WILL lose inches right now!! Thats why so many of us suggest that you guys take your measurements pre-op, because when your having your first couple of stalls-you will be losing inches!

Just stay positive, Be patient (I KNOW, easier said than done).....and dont give up OR get discouraged. Your body is TRYING to "protect" its food source......BUT....Dont STOP eating or doing your shakes, because if you do-then its going to REALLY BE PROTECTIVE!!!

Hope that helps somewhat....Its all good and your in my thoughts and prayer!! Love, Janet
