Learn to crochet

I would like to learn how to crochet, I need something to do in the evenings.  I meet so many wonderful ladies last Saturday, I was wondering do any of you know how to crochet.  I think I will be a really slow learner but would like to try.  Please let me know if someone thinks they have the patients to teach me.  Raynetta

I wanna learn too--I also want to learn to sew---I have so many pants that I need to hem.

I can crochet too, but I'm left-handed.  I learned by sitting in front of my mother, so it would be the opposite of the way she did it.

Hey I can sew and crochet, my crocheting comes and goes.  I have made several blankets for the granbabies..  I love to do it if I have time to just sit.  I plan to be doing that soon as I have surgery.  You can google it to learn the basic steps if you would like.  I refreshed myself after not doing it for 20 yrs.  It did come back but it was slow.  Sewing is pretty much the same, it does come back to you after you pickit back up. 
I called you today Lynetta, I am going to the Wadley on the 6th too.  My appointment is 2:30 when is yours, I thought we would go to the hospital together to see Sue after.  Let me know.
