31 lbs down! I can't believe it!
Nope I didn't fall off the planet. I did however go to my first post appointment on Thursday. It was great. I got that drain from hell out and I was soooo happy. It didn't even hurt. Its was more like a creepy feeling, like a worm inside your belly. The nurse was funny, I asked is this going to hurt and she said only the men complain it hurts. Figures HA! I saw Renee, I hope she doesn't mind me saying she looks great! We took a nutrition class about vitamins and protein and then I saw Dr. Powell he was a fellow that helped do the surgery. He's great. I don't think he quite knows what to think about me. He just said well Lou I've never seen anything like this. HA! I thank God everyday for this opportunity. My husband and mom have been great they have really motivated me to stay strong and mind over matter. Other than being nauseated after the surgery. 
That was bad until they figured out what to give me. I've been working on my protein, we have a protein store here in Springfield ( healthy weight supermarket) that's awesome. Everything in the store is low carb, high protein, they even make food there fresh that you just heat up. They have soup and broth, juice flavors, koolaid flavors, oatmeal that's high protien. I think that you can order them on line too from the store if anyone wants to know the address I can find out. But they are low carb, like 2 carbs, maybe 80 calories and 15grams of protein. You mix them with water and I think there are 8 packages to a box for about 8.50 a box. I hope everyone is doing well, I'm getting ready to go for my walk then shower. I'm going back to work on Monday. I guess I will see you folks at the meeting in a couple of weeks. Have a wonderful weekend!!! Lou (~.~) Oh yeah 4 more days until I can have 2 tablespoons of food! Thanks for the info on the store-Yes, I would love to stop in there when I come to Springfield.....whenever you get time to post the address-just let us know. For me, it will be a bit-so no rush...

WOW that is a great weight loss. Isn't it fun...Don't get scared when you don't lose for a bit. When I was about a month or so out I didn't lose anything for about 3 weeks. I started to get a little freaked out but I was losing lots of inches..And then just like magic the weight started coming off again. Eight more lbs and I will hit the 100 lbs mark, GONE...That is from the time I went to my first seminar but I am counting every little lb...lol... This is just absolutely amazing and I feel great..I am hoping I can get the 8 lbs off by my appt in columbia on the 31st..
