I'm still standin! YEAH YEAH YEAH
Remember that song? I'm still standing yeah yeah yeah lookin like a true survivor. Sang by Elton John Anyway that's how I feel this week. What a loooooonnnnngggg week. I have been counting the days down until I can get this drain out since Oct 7th, which is the day I got it. I can't say enough how if Ididn't have this drain I would be ready to run a marathon. Well maybe not a marathon but I could do alot more. Its painful at the entry site, the stitch is pulling on my skin everytime I move and I swear its comming threw a rib. Enough about that. Thursday is the day and I'm going to be the happiest girl on the planet when it comes out. Other then that I'm doing great. I feel good my energy is back, I'm taking my vitamins and working on my protien. This is the one and only week they made protien optional. But I'm still trying to work it. I've been walking a few times a day around the block. Getting in all my fluids, and chicken broth is my friend. =) I've been having cramps every once in awhile, it must be gas. That's all I can figure out. Of coarse when I got home from the hospitol Aunt Flo had to come for a visit. I wasn't even up for visitors. You ladies know where I'm comming from. Trying to deal with being sore and cramps its just not right. Sometimes on the right, sometimes on the left. weird. I think my swelling is almost gone and for the first time in my ENTIRE life I can't wait to get on that scale at the doctor office. I hope everyone that's had surgery recently or is having surgery, everything is going as planned. I also hope everyone has a wonderful day! Lou (~.~)
