If you can't ask your friends for prayer then who? Enough said!!!

The bible says where TWO or MORE are gathered in HIS name in prayer there HE will be.....

To me, the more that you get praying for a situation the harder the devil get**** in the head.  As any of you know that ask for prayer, the prayers of THIS board work,  Im here to tell ya personally I would not of got through being in the hospital without the prayers of this board, my wife either,  there has been so many answered prayers on this board its to many to count.

Andy! so glad to see you on the board. I hope this means you are on the mend. How about Susan, is she doing better? You are both always in my prayers.

Sis there is not one thing wrong with you asking for prayers for people you care about or are concerned about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If a person has a need it's just as important than any other need!!!! God helps out with all needs big or small!!!!
It's your post so put in it what you want and if they don't want to read what you wrote they can skip your dang post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deb hit the nail right on the head. If it is important to you it is important to us. Keep right on posting your prayer request and if someone doesn't like it they can skip that part...

We are here to help each other. This is the perfect place to come and whine .gripe or ask for prayers. If we don't support each other who will? I am a substitute school teacher and I can tell you it is hard to say anything for fear of affending someone. Thank goodness my school system is not that strict and most of the employees are church going people.
Jan do you have mimosa trees? I would love to have a few saplings. I am interested in flowers too. I will try to get to your next support group meeting.

Hey Everyone,

First I really want to thank EVERYONE again for all your prayers, they mean so much to my wife and I.  I went to the cardiologist today for a check up and so far things look pretty good.  The swelling tho hasnt not gone down and Im still pretty sore, he said that the more active I can get like walking or any type of excersise that the swelling should start to go down.  He said my heart is good,  just a very small amount of plaque build up so he's put me on Lipator and with excersie and the diet we are already on that should take care of that.  My blood pressure was still just a bit high so he up the dosage of what he has me on so i'll keep an eye on that.  So now just to work up to walking again,  tonight I walked half the figure 8 and was starting to hurt time I got back but it sure felt good to walk again,  im not gonna over do it but sure gonna do what i can so this goes down.  Also I gained 14lbs last week and this, good gawd :(  i dunno how,  i didnt eat anything in the hospital, just 2 meals the whole time i was there, the rest of the time I was on clear liquids, dunno if it was all the IV's or what but geeeze, 14lbs is alot!!!!  Anyway i'll just have to work extra hard to get back where i was. 

Well Im gonna get off here, i can still only sit here a few mins before it starts to get uncomfortable, he said for what i have been through he's surprised im not asking for pain pills,  i hate the way they make ya feel so i'd rather not. 

Janet I am so sorry to hear about your FIL, we will be praying for you and the family.  Thanks again for all your support and prayers you put out for all of us.
