day 4 post op

Yep its 2:54 am.  I took a nap earlier in the day and it seems like I wake up every 4 hours or so.  But it gives me time to drink some of my fluids also.  Things are going great.  There are lots of weird noises going on inside my abdomen.  Its got a life of its own. I've been up and around, even went to a football game last night for a little while.  Everyone was saying your crazy, but the more I move the better I feel, so I'm going with that.  My doctor told me to not worry about protien the first week, just concentrate on fluids.  I did drink a little isopure yesterday, it was nasty and iritated my throat.  Must have been because of the breathing tube from my surgery. I'm drinking h2O and diltued apple juice, and loving the popcicles. Mmm  I haven't heard from Renee since I saw her the night before I left the hospitol.  She was doing good and I hope all is well for her.  I haven't weighed yet, I'm still swollen from the surgery so I decided to stay away from the scale until I weigh and the dr office for my post op appt.  Oh I can't wait, I want this drain out, like yesterday. That really is my only complaint right now is the drain.  Its irritating, painful and in the way. I want it gone. Anyway just checking in.  I'm going to try to get ahold of Renee and see how she's doing.  Have a wonderful day!  Lou (~.~)

Lou you sound like you are doing so well. keep up the good work girl....hope to see you on the 27th...you should have lost a few pounds by then lol .....
