Hello all and I hope youi are all doing well and are happy.  I was wondering if any of you are having trouble with meat?  I can get it down however I eat only three small bites and chew like crazy and then I am so full I do not eat tnything else.  Is this normal?  I have went down 54 pounds since July 17 and feel great, yet I would love to eat more than three bites.  I guess old habits die hard. LOL.  Also does anybody have a crustless sugar free pumpkin pie recepie?

Blessings to you all my dear friends,

Kerri

I am 8 months out and still can't do much meat.  Turkey, chicken, pork none of those agree with me.  The only thing I can eat and know I won't get sick is ground beef so I use a lot of recipes with ground lean beef.  Some people can't do beef everyone is different.  They want you to eat your protein and I just can't don't think I will ever be able to do that.

meat is a very very dense protein and about 3 bites is about all i can get down too so usually ground beef is about the only one i eat. beans, lentils. chili, soups with ground beef,
can do chicken if it is cut tiny and in something too.
i am two years out and cant eat enough to get in my protein so i still use at least 2 protein shakes a day....i dont want to eat more , why would you want to eat as much as you use too???
isnt that what made you fat????
It is me....

you were talking about not losing .....that is probably why ...you have to get your calorie intake up to at least 1000 1200 would be better for you with all the exercising you do. other wise you wont lose weight , your body will say oh no we are starving so im saving all of this. but if you get the calories up there you will have them to help you burn the other fat.  does that make sence no but that is how it is.    llli know since i have gotten mine up to 1000 i have been losing tiny bits of weight again. ....try it for a week and keep doing all the exercise you are doing .....dare you....

I do not want to eat as much as I used too.  I am just worried about protein intake.  That is all.

This is an WW's recipe.  The Bisquick makes a thin crust but you can omit it.

Low-Calorie Pumpkin Pie   1 egg 2 egg whites 1 can pumpkin ¾ cup Splenda ½ cup Bisquick 1 t. vanilla 1 t. cinnamon ½ t. ginger ¼ t. cloves 1 can FF evaporated milk 1 cup Cool Whip   Combine the first 9 ingredients; gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into a 9” pie place sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.   Cool on wire rack. Dollop with Cool Whip. Serves 8   124 calories, 2 g fat, 28 mg cholesterol, 160 mg sodium, 19 g carbohydrate, 3 g fiber, 6 g protein

I'm 3 months out as of yesterday and there are a lot things I can't eat.  Ground beef goes down well as does fish and shrimp.  Chicken and other kinds of beef just don't digest well and I'm too uncomfortable.  In a few weeks I might try again.   Can't do macaroni at all and linguini works sometimes and other times doesn't.  I never was a big pasta fan so that's not a big loss.

I can't think of any food I want to eat more of and can't.  Food just doesn't have the appeal it used to.

A 54 lb. loss is great.  I'm at about 40 lbs. and have about 60 left to lose. I'm not the fastest loser but I'm really happy with my progress.

I thought I was an oddball until I read al this.  I can do ground beef and ground turkey fine.  Deli shaved and lunch meats don't stay down.  And I did have a small bit of meat from smoked baby back ribs.  It did stay down and I was on cloud nine for a bit.  Didn't eat much as I am sure they are high in fat.
