WHATS HAPPENING TUESDAY

Went thru with the c-pap study last night.  They fit me with one of the little buggers and you know what? I slept like a baby….really …they said they only had to turn it up a couple of times. So they got the readings they wanted and I got a good nights sleep. I have felt pretty good today…So I don’t guess I will be dancing with the c-pap machine Bec…It didn’t bother me at all..but did notice that if I turned on my side that the machine tried to come off. May have to get me one of those pillows or make one myself.

 

Poor Andy , seems like his doctor that was prescribing his medications for high b/p was not being very watchful with him….he knew he was losing big chunks of weight and yet he kept him on these high doseages of b/p meds. May be a case for incompetence there.

Hate that when a person in the medical field doesn’t pay attention to what they are doing. No reason for it at all.

 

The saga of the little truck, we went back in there to the car lot today and when we walked in the lady in there said OH NO!!!! we said wereee back….. anyway we talked to the owner and told him that we were very very unhappy with all of this. And think we want our money back….he said let me look at it one more time ….he called back in about an hour and said well got a reading on something …..fuel pump….told Michele and she about come unglued lol …that is what she said in the first place. .   anyway Joe told him that if this doesn’t fix it that we want our money back or a new and different car with no extra money ….he said he understood and would make sure it is fixed this time with no charge to us….know one thing we are going to drive the heck out of that little thing around and around Forsyth and Branson till we are satisfied that it is ok….

It better be or that guy is not going to like eating that thing.

 

Well I think our prayers are doing some real good with Michele….she called me tonight to tell me something that she thought I would be proud of her far….she was invited to a bon fire drinking party with lots of guys there…she told the girl no…there was only one thing that she needed more  and the girl ask her what was that , she told her a hole in her head. Lol ….anyway she said she was proud of herself and wanted me to know and be proud too. I told her that I was very very proud of her for all that she is doing and accomplishing in her life. ...So thanks guys if I can ask you all to keep praying for her I would appreciate it so very much…

 

 

 

RENEE::::: I know you and Lou wont see this post unless you look at it at Becs but if so know that we all will be praying for the two of you girls tomorrow….Janet let us know as soon as possible on them….

Yes Joe woke up in plenty of time to come get me….the sleep clinic here when you get ready to go in the morning gives you a coupon for 5.00 worth of breakfast in the cafeteria….so last time and this time both I was able to have him a nice hot breakfast…he got what he wanted and I had a bite of scrambled eggs and a sausage link and a bottle of apple juice. While he had all of the eggs , 2 links , gravy and biscuit. And cappuccino.

So you leave Friday for your mountain trip? You will be getting back just as we are leaving lol  but I hope we get to see you some tomorrow….forgot I have a hair appointment in the morning at 9 so will be done about noon and then come on in. ok? Will call you when we get to Nixa.

 

Hey you want a challenge in packing :? Pack for a week with only being able to have one small suitcase for the two of us. The trailer will have to have our cooler, tent, air mattress and sleeping bags and few other things like that. Will also have to take leathers incase we have cold weather on rides or rain. So will be very limited on what we can take ,,,

 

 

 

DEB::::: yeah I guess the bad feelings I was having was from dealing with the little truck problems , I guess who knows. It is gone now so hopefully nothing bad happens.

 

I cant imagine what your place must look like for Christmas. I think Sugar had a good idea of getting a bus to come see your decorations…would be fun for sure.

 

That is so sad that Gail has that hanging over his head …Dealing with heart trouble is really hard  when iit comes to someone we love for sure. That is what I try to tell Joe , his cholesterol is high and he has managed to lose quite a bit of weight but he still eats things he shouldn’t…

Deb is you find anything in her size let me know and I will send you the money you spent on them and then send you the money to send them to me. But don’t worry about it too much ok? I just don’t get to see re sale shops down here in the sticks too much lol

BEV::::::yes the rain always causes me to hurt all over. My knees and shoulder especially. So what is new since they hurt all the time but they extra sharp pains when the weather is moving in.

I don’t think anyone really knows how much we retain of the protein but I look at it this way….with the mal aborsotion deal we have that we have to take vits. For the rest of our lives. Why ?????? would anyone think that it would let all the protein thru??? Your gut doesn’t know the difference about what it absorbs and doesn’t …if it doesn’t give you enough of the Vits that you need out of the food then it isnt giving you enough of the protein out of it either. Also even to get 80 grams of protein it take a lot of eating to do that…and I don’t know about everyone but I cant eat that much….no where near.

All of this is just my theory but I think mine makes as much sence as anyone elses does lol

So I will stick with doing at least 2 protein shakes a day and eating what I can.

 

Wow you have tiny little feet don’t you? I wore size 10s long long ago, and before surgery I got up to 11s but now im back down into 10s. thank God.

Hope you find out what is wrong with your feet. May have fallen arches..I do. And with all the fat leaving my feet it has made it worse.

 

 

Ok LYNETTE  where are you???? Are you ok??? Are you feeling ok? I know it has only been a little over a week but we need to hear from you sweetie.

Hello All;

Finally getting rested up from the weekend. Saturday of course we had our 5k walk from obesity. Peice of cake.LOL   Then we went shopping and had a great day. Then on Sunday, three of my grandkids and I went to the Renaissance Festival and walked about 7.8 miles. Measured that with the new pedometers we received at the Walk on Saturday. What a beautiful day to do something like that. Two of the three grandkids had never been before. Something new I had never seen before was the male belly dancers. Never seen so many great looking abs!!!

I have taken up knitting and have knitted both grandaughters a new neck scarf. Beginning my first big project tomorrow. Knitting a jacket for 8 year old grandaughter. I have crocheted for about 30 years and have won awards in our County Fairs for some of my projects. I have always wanted to knit and finally found classes to take and it happens to be my dentists wife and she is giving me private lessons. I really enjoy it.

You all are in my prayers and my heart.

I will be thinking about the girls this morning. I pray everything goes especially well. I haven't heard from Lynette but expect she is still at her MOms. I wonder if we mail something to our secret sister if they will know who it is since there will be a postmark. Anyone thought about that or do you think it even matters? I will be busy today ,I have second grade today. They always keep me hopping.I will check first thing to see the post on the girls when I get home. Anyone up there give them my love.

I think on the secret pal mailing, take it to a near by town to mail it or give it to a friend going somewhere else to mail when then arrive....because the first thing i check on a package is the postmark! lol!

Well sis, maybe you will finally get the truck thing figured out. I cant believe they couldnt know fuel pump from the beginning and why wouldnt it have showed up on the diagnostic? I really dont think many mechanics know much anymore...they have made the vehicles too complicated. Do you remember the day when you drove into the yard of a shade tree mechanic and said what is this noise and race your motor and he says "Well that is your ____?? whatever" and he was always right! I think we should go back to simple cars that someone can fix.

Sounds like Michele is trying hard and I am proud of her efferts too! Bless her heart. She has hauled all of that mess around with her for too long and its time she lightens her load and let the GOOD LORD take some of the burden. I still am praying for her to find a church home with people who can love her thru all this.

Cant wait to hear about the surgeries today and how everyone did. Im sure they will fly thru and come out ready to hit that bench.

Penni we will pray for God to reveal the truth to you soon. And it to be the answer you want. Glad to hear your house is about done. I am needing to do some remodeling and I just dread getting started. That means I have to stay home to do it! lol

Sis, you know the nasty message you told me you had gotten? Well I had too, just hadnt read the messages on there for a long time! lol...I dont check that very often.

Shiela, glad you are starting to heal but feel for your pain. Can I ask WHY you ran off the road? It wasnt fun was it? Next time stay on the road would you? Did it destroy your scooter? I do pray for healing quickly for you girl!

Well, Im coloring the roots of my hair and its about time to get finished up so I will get off of here.

One more thing, Bec...did the girls like thier tea? Hope you all had a MA--R--r---R--velous time together.

When we plan the trip in November to Bec's dr appt... I can either leave and head up 13 or go the other way and go thru Joplin, it will depend on how many riders I have going and from where and where I need to pick them up so everyone start letting me know now!

I am so sorry you both received nasty email for someone!!!!!

I hate to hear that, no one should get anything like that but, have been there myself. It was from the main board and had to finally block their emails. That is probably why I don't post much. I don't ever expect to get that from the Missouri Board but, once you have been there it made me kinda shy to post my opinion. I mostly contact the post I think needs my help. That way I don't get hate mail. Some people think there is only one option or opinion and it's their's.

You are both loved and appreciated on this board and I hope you are both stronger than I because so  many people need you!!!

oh well it was a while ago , Sugar just dont read her mail much lol ....it is over and done....nothing to worry about...

Good Morning ladies and gents!!!!


I am alive, just have had my SIL here the last couple of nights. SIL hubby went on a hunting trip and she has been scared to stay alone in the woods they live in LOL. They don't live that far really from us just down in the holler as they say around here hehe. We live on the main road she lives on a LONG dirt road WAY WAY in the woods haha.
 
Been working on my house, hubby is just so thrilled hehe, you know how they are, well Baby its just your mom and hey ill clean while you recovering, YEAH RIIIIGHT hahaha. He knows I get crazy when anyone visits and now I'm really nuts thinking of all I wont be able to do for a bit so i wanna make sure I get it done as far ahead as I can. i don't want my mom coming to do anything but be with me,I would just die if she came and did a lot and made herself sick. Hubby, God love him will do what i ask when I ask even if he sometimes makes faces LOL, he likes the house clean but has no idea how it gets that way, or would not really mind to much if it wasn't as clean as I usually keep it. Men what is it they say about em, cant live with em and ya just cant shoot em hahaha, nah i am very lucky over all with mine even if he doesn't have a cleaning bone in his body haha.


My legs are better still swollen but down from what they were. I am down to just one pair of slide shoes I can wear on the yeast rolls I am calling feet these days haha. I cant wait till surgery I am gonna go nuts with shoes seems like ages since I could wear a normal pair in my normal size, bah who am I kidding, I know I will never be normal muhahah but being closer in some ways would be nice LOL!!!


I am shooting for starting to work out some I hope in a week or so, plan to join a gym of sorts they have here in a local church, nice equipment and quiet there, my MIL has been going and really likes it. I wanna be like Bec and work up some before I have surgery so maybe walking will be easier afterwords. I cant wait till I am like BarbaraS. she is a superwoman!!!

Hey BarbaraS. I wanna hear more about those male belly dancers hehe did ya get pics of them LOL!!! DROOL!!!!!!


Well I better try and see how many my Swiss cheese memory can remember to reply to and get busy while hubby and his sis are at work, they just get in the way while I am working when they are here hehe.


Renee and Lou  I got up with hubby and SIL at 545 am to start praying for you girls, I will continue to pray with all my heart everything goes perfect with you 2!!! Please know you are both on all our minds, we are all praying and sending you our deepest hopes and best of wishes!!!


Penni I will pray for you, I know what limbo can be like been there so any times myself hoping I was late for a happy reason. Tho I have never had a child I sure have had my share of trying, I hope you will get the news you are hoping for very soon. Grats on the house being almost done I know that has been a lot of work!!!


Sheila   I am praying for you sweet lady!! I am so very thankful it was not worse and we still have you with us, scary to think what may have happened!! DebbieD  I hope life is treating you good and you are getting you son all set for his BIG college adventure!! I so remember those days at his age, one the best times in my life!! I know it is hard to let him go like that but I am SURE you raised him well and he will do very well!!!



OH  Jan    I was just like you on the cpap I slept better than I had in years when I went for my second sleep study!!! I used to sleep a couple times a week maybe before I got mine now I sleep every night like a baby!!! Make sure you make them let you try out a couple masks to see what is the most comfortable for you. the mask they gave Bec is the latest one and I tried it not long ago and could NOT stand it at all LOL, she is a better dancer than I am LOL!!! If you are a side sleeper like I am, the best one in my opinion has been the one that has like a little tent type thing over your mouth, it doesn't touch your mouth just has a exhaust there. The only place it actually touches you is just under your nose, it is slimmer than most of the other masks and makes sleeping on your side easier, as it doesn't touch the pillow or get dislodged as easily. There is another mask I had before this one I liked almost as good tho it did leak some when I rolled over and I had to readjust it at times, it is just a nasal pillow under your nose and nothing else, its good if you don't think you would like the other one. Sounds like Andy may have the second one i mentioned it was the one I tested on and used for ages.Also ask em for a humidifier for your cpap it helps to not dry your nose out so bad and warms the air for you,it is just a simple attachment, you can choose to use or not as you like. Anyway I hope all that makes some sense and may actually help some LOL!!! HUGS!!!

Good Morning.
 I am always so happy to see yur post .Brings a smile to my face, Gail; tells me i never smile. But when i'm on here reading post i always have a smile or i'm setting here laughing like i've lost my mind. He tells me its nice to see my happy and smile though.
 Oscar is still beiong very stubborn, Nothing stays put, But i'm thinking about buying stock in Campbells soups LOL.  And Would love for ya'll to come see our house, The runeway kights Gail had found were sold this morning,So i been on here for over an hour hunting for another set, WHEW i found some, Called the company to make sure they were rorating cuz he wants them to be, The lady went to check called me back and yes they are, WEEEEEEEEEEEE. He will be a happy camper
 That shop is open all week but only has dpollar a bag days on Fridays But i think i heard them saying something about doing it o Wd too. OMG i'll neve get nothing done if thats the case LOL.
 Gail and I wanna come to Arkansa one dat and find a lil backwoods church, Our pastor is from there . And many people from church have went to arkansas and went to those lil backwoods church and they come back so fdull of the lord and holy spirit, I just wanna go. So bad. Maybe one day we will.
 There is just something about Arkansas and Church , I'm not making much since am i? LOL. I just wanna go LOL.
I tried calling Janets Cell to let them know i was thinking of them today but got her voice mail So i left a message, Did alot of stutering  didn't really know what to say So hope she can figure it out LOL.

 Where does your grandma live?

She lives in Princeton, she is 93 we are overdue for a visit too, she reminded me when I spoke to her last week. She is still sharp as a tack she lives alone but in a community where they check on her a lot. She is so funny, she paints, quilts all kinds of stuff I adore her!! Hubby is so lucky to still have her I lost my own granny many years ago. She is a treasure and I am so glad he shares hehe.

We love the church we attend here, it isn't very old just a couple years its called The Brand New Church!! It is as we all say for the people who come to worship, not gossip or worry about what your wearing or how much money ya have, just enjoy each other and praise the Lord!!! We have all ages, many from other churches who got tired of the he said she said stuff like we did, tho that seems to come with a small town. My grandad who was a preacher always said if your looking for the perfect church you feet sure will get tired cause there is no such thing, as long as men are in it it will have faults, ain't that the truth LOL. We just love that its comfortable. loving and they don't bite their tongue when it comes to the important stuff like the bible!! Your welcome to come with us any day!! Plus there are several churches we go to for gospel sings, revivals and such in the woods as you say haha they remind me of the small church my Papa preached in so very much.


GRATS on finding the lights now when we all fly in we will have a well lit landing pad hahaha!!!


BarbaraS next time ya see male belly dances sneak some pics just for us, we wont tell the grand kids hahahaha
