WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY
Surely has been cold most all day hasn’t it? Well Steve , my son came down and put some things on my laptop and so that is what im using now to do this with tonight.
I have hooked my wireless mouse and keyboard up to it tho so I can type faster lol
The keyboard on the laptop seems to be so touchy and im always resting my wrist on the mouse pad and that messes things up.lol.
Well I did get the rest of one flower bed cleaned out before Steve got here and that was about it.
Joe went to his appointment this morning with the big shot neuro doctor and they want him to go have a MRI with contrast in Springfiield at this big center there. They said his MRI he had done at Branson was blurry and when you are messing around with the spine and spinal column that you want to be precise
So he will have that done on the 30th of this month…
He said the doctor said that he thought he could help him but will wait and see after the MRI. He wont get to see that doctor until November 7th …sure a long drawn out process.
DEBBIE D::::::: so how was your day with Luke….How did you like the college that you all toured today? Have been praying all day for you and he to make the right decision . So many things that you have to think of at this time in their lives….We want to keep them at home for a little longer so we can help them adjust to adult hood but they are so anxious to spread their wings. And that is what we worry about too.
He sounds like such a level headed young man that im sure that he will make the right decision.
Thanks for continuing to keep Michele in prayer…Hopefully she is doing all the things she should do.

Yeah gas in Springfield was 2.91 according to my son…or rather in Republic at wal mart. I never thought we would see it go below 3 dollars ever again. Of course that isn’t much lower but it is lower.

SUZIE:::::: hope you are doing well today after your good nights rest. That is how I did until they hooked me up to the O2...man just that much really helps me stay asleep all night. I don’t know how much better it can get with a c-pap , maybe you need to have a sleep study done. couldn’t hurt.
Might even help some.

I have missed walking the last two mornings. I will be ready about 8 am in the morning I hope , ,my left knee is still hurting pretty bad if I take the brace off of it. But hopefully I can do what I need to do tomorrow morning.
We have to take Micheles little car back over to her tomorrow hopefully it is completely fixed now. Joe told them up there that if it breaks down again he is bringing it back to them and wants all of his money back.
The guy said it wont break down now im sure.

Well I went on line and checked and there is such a part and that is what it does to the car when it starts wearing out. When the truck cools off it will start right up again. Anyway it is replaced and they didn’t charge any labor for it. Just for the part. Which is ok you cant tell when parts are going to wear out on a used vehicle.
Called and checked on the trailer and found one of the reasons it was high was because Joe bought tags for it for two years. Which is ok , just didn’t know that. But they had given us someone elses paper work too. , when Joe when back up there today they kept saying I don’t know where you got this piece of paper. He said you all gave it to me. And they were trying to say that they didn’t . crazy people where did they think we got it from. Thin air????
Will continue to pray that someone comes along that will pick up the boys for Chele…

Do you mean they moved your surgery later in the day? Or earlier? No I don’t think you can take too much B12 since it is a water soluble vit. You just pee it out. You need to be sure and get all your protein in after surgery and start trying to eat as soon as they allow anything, even broth..ok…you can keep hair loss at a min. if you take care to get in all your protein, and not let your body stress out about it.
ANGIE::::: hey Grace….I think we have a lot of us here that are about the crumbiest bunch of people you ever saw. I think most of it is because we have lost our center of gravity don’t you? And we arent use to our new bodies yet…
Your husband sounds really sweet. And just thank God that he wants to take care of you , you know lots of guys cause a lot of pain. Sure a shame but wish all men thought of their wives like that, I know I have one too that treats me like a queen. And I know several others on here that theirs do too. Anyway you are still lucky.
Really lucky to get all of that exercise equipment too. Your going to be buff lol

So I want to know what is going on with me that I keep waking up at 3:33??? Weird, huh? Ive done this for a couple of weeks now and cant seem to get back to sleep. Until around 5 then I get sleepy again! Then its almost time to get up and around!!! Oh well, Ive always had stange sleeping habits.
Steve is checking out an old pc for me too to see if it will work for Chelle. She needs a cheap one for the house and then wants a lap top for her picture stuff so she can show people the pics she has just taken. I think him and Chelle are working out some barter on photos and computers...he was wanting some head shots and some action shots while hes acting in the play...
Well, we are going to do an Oktoberfest for my Sr's at church...minus the beer and polka. BUT we will have polka music..lol! Im going to cook for them this time and make all the traditional german dishes. Hot pot. salad, keilbasa, brats, saurekraut, potato pancakes with sour cream and applesauce, apple stuedel, german choc. cake, etc. I like to cook for them sometimes so they dont have to bring anything in. I have even found my costume already...a skirt at one garage sale, a blouse I already had, a vest at another garage sale and now Im on the hunt for some brown shoes with a strap and a hat...I would like to have a petite coat under my skirt (full can-can style) but havent found one yet. lol If anyone has any german style stuff let me know. Im going to decorate with the traditional blue and white checked table covers (bavarian style) and solid blue plates and white napkins. I would like to do little bundles of wheat and hops on each table but probably wont find that cheap enough to do...so may make just one for the serving table. Nut crackers would be good for decorating with too but cant go buy a bunch of those. Like I said, if anyone has anything, let me know...
Well, I cant believe about Andy! I will be asking our good LORD to watch over him and lay his healing hands on him. What in the world? Did they have to give him dye in his cat scan? That can mess some people up. Susan stay strong.
Well, Im jealous again, Janet and Renee get to go see Bec and I dont get to see anybody!!! :(

Wow it's early only 5:32.And a Sat GRRRRRRRR, But i am so use to getting up early with gail through the week to have a cup of coffee and chat before he leaves for work, My brain just dosen't realize it's SAT and i could of stayed in bed longer, LOL.
OMG i have got the awefulest gas from that cabbage i ate the other night, I swear if someone lit a match or a lighter after i poot.The room would just explode.Even Harley gets up and moves away from me. And looks all offended after i do it. If you could see the look on his face it would totaly crack you up.If they could bottle the stuff it could be used as a weapon in the war.
I think i already told ya'll Natalie called me yesterday , She got me an appt set up at the pain clinic. Finally someone who actually cares about my pain.I almost started crying when she called. She said they don't give out narcatics there. I said Thank God. I don't want another pain pill I just want them to try and do something that will last for awhile, They do the injections into the back,Thats kinda scarey but hey if it will stop the pain even for a month or so i'll take it.
My son went bow hunting lst night, Cuz his mama told him she wants some loins. So He comes over with Bambi in the truck. I said dang Jas, poor baby, Did you blow the spots off ass the arrow was headed towards her? I know some of you won;t even care about deer meat and think it's cruel to kill them. I think it is mean to kill babies but they sure are tender and oh so yummy, I just eat the loins.I spray pan with pam ,put in meat add a lil salt then cover it in chili poder and garlic salt. Cook it real slow and oh my .my it is so good. Can't have it yet, But i can wrap it good and put it in the fridge, PLus it is good for you No bad stuff in deer meat.
Senate bill 40 is like a goodwill store, Except it's a place where people with disabilities or handicapped can work, It really makes them feel good about themselves. And they have some really good stuff, Cheap too.
I got two sets of the wooden wall candle holders yesterday,A really cute gold looking metal bird house ,More for decoration,A afagan throw, always grab those when i go, They are great to cover up with when yur laying on sofa watching tv.Or when i am seiing in my vibrating back massaging chair Gail got me for Christmas Last year, I love that thing.Got sonme nice picture frames, Lots of sweat shirts and some flannel night gowns for Nikki, Got Colby a real cute pumkin sweat shirt with the hoodie and some jeans, Even found new baby {be here in Jan] found him some footie p'js, Onies, and jeans, I always make sure there are no holes or stains. If something is really cute and has a small stain i will usually get it bring it home put shout on it and poof stain begone.
I have 2- 30gal bags of baby girl clothes That are just adoreable i got from there for my neice, But they won't let her wear them. So if anyone dosn't mind used clothes Yur more than welcome to them. They are all washed and stain free.They range in sizes from 0-3 months on upto like 18-24 months.
I was hopeing my new baby would be a girl but it's a boy and that is fine with me.As long as he is healthy.
Jeanie- So glad yur back. My youngest bro ,only one i have left now and won't have for long if he keeps drinking like he does,Anyhow he is an alcoholic,And i have just came to peace with myself knowing that i have tried many times to help him, But until he is ready to stop and help himself ,Not even an act of congress can stop him.My sister the drama queen is addicted to perscription pain meds, But she dosen't think she has a problem,I've told her she is a pill addict, BUt she informs me that her meds are perscribed by her dr, She isn't an addict. I said ok but that just makes you a legal pill addict. Man does that rip her a new butt when i tell her that, But hey i tell it as i see it. My mother traded alcohol for pills so she is legal pill addict too.They all live in their own lil world over there in kIrksville, So glad i live away from them. I know i sound aweful saying that, But it's the truth.
Janet- Good Morning Nana, I can still see that smile on yur face. Let the shopping begin, I started soon as i found out i was gonna be a grandma and it was gonna be a girl, She will be 5 in April and i'm still shopping LOL.I've already said it but i am so excited for you.

I have so much to do today, Pick up nuts, Those nasty walnuts just keep falling and are hard on the mower not to mention the neighbors house when i hit them with the mower LOL. Gotta get the yard mowed, House cleaned, Floors Mopped and waxed, Do all the bed clothes,Clean out my kitchen cabinets, Funny they are so full of stuff i can't cram more in , but can never find anything to eat lol.
Nikki is catching a cold I hear her coughing in her sleep. She hates taking cough meds she would'nt take any last night but maybe i can get her to take some this morning.
Bec- Big ole hugs to you and am so proud of you for the way you are getting in your protein and liquids. And like others said Ya might wanna slow down on your walkng till you are healed a lil more. That might really help with the pain also.But i know it's hard to keep a good woman down. Just be sure and take care of you . We need you here.

Maybe I can contribute to your gas fund-and then you could meet everyone at the same time-since we all love you soooo much!!! (LOL-Hint, Hint!) Im gonna be up in the Columbia area for 4 days-how far is that from you? Let me know. I dont understand it when people WONT use gently worn clothes for babies-they go through clothing so fast-and I, for one, LOVE a bargain first of all, BUT...In addition, I sure dont have the funds to go buying everything brand new. I LOVE clearance racks, garage sales and all of that and have gotten 90% of everything I own from those places/second hand stores!

Well I have something to be excited about today. Cassie L is coming down from KC and we are taking her daughter and mer mother's fosterkids to Arts id the Park today. Cassie is such a neat gal, and getting so little. Of course, she is only 5' 2' to start with.
Our tomat patch had one last blast of tomatos and then gave up for the summer. Will miss those until next year.

Started walking two days ago, "ON PURPOSE" lol...we'll see how that goes. Can't remember if I told you guys, but I go to Columbia on the 29th of Oct. and have a new EDG on the 30th.
I dread the trip, but thankful gas is going down!
