~Grand-Baby ultrasound results!~

Hi Friends~

My grand-babys name IS: Mackenzie LeeAnna~ ITS A GIRL~GIRL~GIRL~AND....SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!

Amazing story (blessing!): Jon and I were the only ones who showed up (okay with me!!!) Anyhooo. We were 20 minutes into the ultrasound and the tech kept telling us that the baby had its legs/feet crossed and showed us how it was-like at the ankles-anyway-preventing him from getting the "money" shot, as he called it.

Now, I am about in tears-I WANT VALIDATION that this baby is A GIRL....I kept telling the tech (his name is Adam) that I just KNEW IN MY HEART that its a girl....Aaron kept saying its a boy (we had $20 riding on it before we even went in....HAHA!!!) Ok-so I say-Can I come over there and push around on her tummy to get her to move? He said-thats fine, you wont hurt her or anything and it wont bother me, but "I" cant do it. So, I go over-get down by the "belly" and say-Mackenzie-its Nana-I NEED you to move baby girl...I love you...Nana wants to go shopping to buy you beautiful dresses and lots of frilly lace and ruffles!......ok-so the tech tells us to look at the screen-and she was in there "going nuts" as Adam put it-moving and kicking her arms and legs!!!! Thats when he was able to get the "money" shot!!! YAY YAY YAY YAY!!!! I have been "talking" to Megans belly since I found out she was pregnant-EVERY TIME I see her-and everyone laughs at me....Im the one laughing now-cause whether she was going to go nuts right then or not-I am choosing to believe in my heart-that she heard my voice and recognized me!!! (let me have my dream-k?)

Once the waterworks started, I couldnt stop them-LOL....The tech had given Megan and Aaron the "fun" profile pictures-and I was sitting there, tears streaming down my face with Jon, looking at this one of her face-which shows her little "button" nose (as Adam put it) and he reaches over and hands me my very own picture of her face-and then, handed one to Jon too!!! He was so nice!! (he has 2 little boys and is expecting his little baby girl the middle of December) Anyway-she weighs right at one pound right now, has all her fingers and toes and all her organs looked good! She is due Feb 19th.

We went and toured the birthing center when we were done-and this is a new hospital-just opened last month AND...they didnt deliver babies at the old one-they just started delivering babies Sept 2nd. The room was like a deluxe suite and the bathroom like a spa-the bathtub-heck-I would LOVE to have THAT bathroom at my house-Sunken garden like spa tub with jets - gigantic! The room has a full size couch that converts to a double bed-and then lazy boy type chairs that fold into single beds-the babies bed is in there-flat screen plasma tv on the wall, refridgerator, writing desk and chair, a computer, you name it-its in this room! She is allowed 6 total people in the room-so 4 people can stay there WITH her!~Same with delivery~

Anyway-thanks for listening to me ramble-I am on a cloud today......I appreciate all of you sharing your grandma/grandpa stories and reassuring me that I am not CRAZY to be in love with this baby girl already!!! All my love and prayers to all of you!!! Janet
