Holy @*&#&$ I HAVE A DATE!!?!?!?!?

thanks for the advice. I appreciate it  My mom tends to blow things out of proportion, so she will just freak out.  I thought about introducing her to this site, actualy maybe having her read my blog her something, but frankly that is too personal.  I know she knows about the surgery, but she will just ask stupid questions and it will like being acosted, and I'd rather wait until it's all over and I start shrinking for her to ask what;s going on.

I think it will be more fun that way

I hear ya girl, I walk on egg shells around my family too....but, I try to make it for the better so we can all get along....  I too feel my blog is personal for those who understand the rmotional burden of my weight.  My Mom won't read things or study them out, she wants you to explain them to her.  She is over weight her-self, but like I used to be, she has just give up trying to do anything about it.  She'd rather enjoy the fellowship around the table.  Example, we will be traveling to her house tonight, she started cooking last Wednesday.....  But, she did call and ask me how I bake my chicken legs.....so thats a start!  Its a majoy move for her cause normally she'd boil them with a ton of butter in the water...ha!  Good luck with your Mom.  I'd talk about someone else having the surgery and see what opinion comes out of her mouth about it, then you'd know where you were starting from....(maybe) ...

Congrats on the date. I know just how you feel with your date being six weeks away. I am waiting  with you so we can just worry together, Just think you will be the only at your Thanksgiving that won't gain weight.

Fantastic, finally things are coming together.  Remeber to get an angel that can keepus posted on how you do.
